Coin’s Edge: Reincarnated as a Extra

Chapter 71: FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

"Damn!" Hector's face twisted in agony as he tried to pull the Jailer's sword out of his abdomen.

However, it was really hard for him.

The reason was simple: the three Jailers were Adept-Rank Awakened individuals.

He could feel it clearly from the mana they released—it meant they were at the same level as an Academy Instructor.

"Urg!" Blood dripped from his mouth, and his consciousness began to fade.

His wounds might have regenerated, but at this moment, it was nearly impossible—he had already used too much mana in the battle with Berry.

Now, the remaining mana in his body was just enough to keep him alive.

"Watch out! He'll die if you do it like that!... Don't make the young master angry," Lesley said calmly.

"Sigh… I know." The muscular Jailer sighed and shrugged helplessly before quickly pulling his sword from Hector's abdomen.

At that moment, Hector nearly collapsed, clutching his blood-soaked abdomen in pain.

"How pathetic! I can't believe Berry let this rat defeat her! She needs to be punished for that. I'll report it to the young master," the left Jailer said coldly, judging Hector's weakness.

"Tsk!" Lesley merely shook his head as he looked ahead, where Hector's group had desperately tried to escape.

Yet, he barely showed any emotion, as if watching the most pointless struggle he had ever seen.

"How pitiful."

"Even if you and your group manage to escape, all of you will still die! That is an unchangeable fate."

At that moment, the muscular Jailer, scratching his chin, acted differently. He narrowed his eyes toward the exit, then turned to look back at the pile of corpses littered behind them.

He said, "No, I suppose it would be different!"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Both of the left Jailers turned their attention to the senior Jailer and asked in surprise.

"Well, just thinking... If it were just one person, I'm certain that even someone with privilege couldn't flee! But if they gathered a bunch of people together, I think they might actually be able to do it."

"However, I'm certain one of them must've had some information. Otherwise, none of them would do something pointless like trying to escape in a group. They usually flee alone."

All the Jailers shifted their eyes toward Hector, their expressions tightening.

"You're the leader of those trashes. And you've stolen some of our information."

Immediately, lying on the ground, a chill ran down Hector's spine as he heard that.

He was shocked by the nonsense—those stupid words.

He had done barely anything related to that.

They were false accusations—vu khống to him.

Fucking Jailers!

And that damn lucky coin… What the fuck had it done this time? It should've gone to hell, or he was destined to suffer endless agony and torment again.

FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

"I swear, if I ever get out of here, I'll throw away this fucking artifact!"

And as time passed, he started to grow groggy, losing all sense of calm and drifting into unconsciousness.

In a dull hallway, several students were walking in comfort. Yet, it seemed they were in a bit of a hurry, as if rushing somewhere.

With a situation like that, anyone could guess one thing:

They were late to class.

Of course, they were students.

However, among them were students who were different.

She looked like she barely cared about that matter—as if there were other things she believed were far more important.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Each step echoed her boredom—and a strange memory that even he couldn't understand.

Sometimes, she would mutter a few scolding words to someone.

"Sigh…" she exhaled deeply, gazing out the window.

Time seemed to stop for a moment when she did that.

And day after day,

She remained the same.

She wandered through this academy.

Everything was just boring.

Scores? Studies? She did them perfectly.

Everyone admired her, yet behind it came so much jealousy.

Sycophants!

Or whatever!

I hate everyone! This fucking academy was barely any different from her CLAN.

After all, humans were all the same.

The only thing that gave her a bit of happiness was her cousin, yet she was always busy—she didn't have much time for her.

What a dull life!

So many awful things had happened to her—

From her older sister to her business.

It was chaos.

She missed him.

She wanted to see him again. She missed the way he looked at her.

She wanted to talk to him.

He was the only one who treated her like a brat—as if she were some kind of fiend… or maybe even a little sister.

Yes, she was just a kid who had always lacked love from her family.

"What are you doing?" Wade asked gently.

She took a few steps and stopped beside the fancy bed.

Sitting down in the chair next to it, she waited for an answer from the girl who was lying there lazily.

"Nothing," the girl said flatly and turned her face away, avoiding Wade's eyes.

"Sigh… Sorry. I really have a lot to deal with. The second trial is coming, and our generation is facing a lot of pressure... So I've got to do something to prepare before it begins."

She added, "I hope you understand my worry."

"It's all for you."

"I know. I'm not mad at you. I'm just…" Violet paused and didn't finish her sentence.

But Wade smirked slightly and teased her.

"I guess… you're missing your big uncle."

Immediately, Violet sat up and shouted in denial.

"No! I don't miss him!"

Silence passed between them for a moment.

"I thought so," Wade said with a raised eyebrow, nodding at Violet's outburst.

Violet's face turned red. She instantly regretted her reaction.

Without a word, she pulled the blanket over herself and hid underneath it in embarrassment.

"You're so cute… I really want to pinch your cheeks right now, my little cousin."

But Wade didn't have much time left, so she only said a few words before leaving the room.

"Don't worry about him. You made the right decision. Honestly, it's better he left before things got more complicated."

"Maybe you'll meet him again in the second trial—so don't be too sad about it."

With those soft words, she stood up and walked out.

A few minutes later, Violet got out of bed and stood in front of the window.

She stared at the sunlight, her mind filled with thoughts. …

She smiled faintly while accidentally scolding him.
