Catastrophe Containment Facility

Chapter 1151: Vicious Woman

In the dreamscape, people possess the same strength as they do in reality.

Because the self in the dreamscape is essentially a projection of oneself in reality.

If the dream's owner can maintain a clear consciousness, they can receive a significant power boost.

However, as dream creatures, nightmares have an even greater advantage.

In the dreamscape, even a newborn nightmare possesses disaster level strength.

An adult nightmare can confront an upper sequence superpower user, while a few elite-level nightmares can even invade the dreams of true-order masters!

Against such opponents, ordinary people have virtually no power to resist.

Upon encountering a nightmare, one's fate is entirely at the mercy of the nightmare's mood, but even if the nightmare is gentle, the experience is terrifying as hell for the victim.

Yet, nightmares generally don't seek trouble with superpower users because, to nightmares, it's not the strength that makes something tasty, but the fear.

Superpower users are tough, and their will is generally more resilient than that of ordinary people; dealing with them is a thankless task, only dream speakers among superpower users are considered a delightful delicacy for nightmares.

This dreamscape is abundant with the aroma of a dream speaker, like a delicious dream speaker who found a top chef to cook themselves to perfection, presenting themselves before the nightmare—it's an irresistible temptation for Menglan.

Faced with such a treat, Menglan decided to savor it for ten days, no...preferably twenty days, hoping it wouldn't spoil after twenty days.

The dream monsters cloaked in silver and black robes were traversing the sanctuary, searching for the dream's owner.

Once they locate the dream's owner, they will follow Menglan's order to let him know what true fear is.

In a normal dream, perceiving such a commotion, people would hide as fast as they could.

But Wen Wen had no such thought. He was in the most conspicuous spot, pulling up a chair, adopting a very arrogant posture, waiting for the opponents to come to him.

The fastest dream monster was the first to discover Wen Wen, extending a shriveled tongue, moving it erratically, perhaps licking its lips.

Then the silver-grey robe on its body began to quickly morph, ultimately turning it into a hunchbacked old man, advancing step by step towards Wen Wen with a cane.

Dreams don't need to conform to logic, so people generally wouldn't suspect a suddenly appearing old man.

Once close enough, the dream monster would transform into a twisted tentacle monster, scare Wen Wen half to death before doing anything else.

"Young man, you..."

Without waiting for it to speak, Wen Wen pulled out a special rifle, a grenade launcher with a massive drum magazine filled with powerful grenades.

Bang!

A grenade struck the old man's body, causing the entire figure to explode, the humanoid disguise vanishing, the silvery-grey flesh wriggling rapidly, trying to recover.

A few more grenades were launched, utterly shattering the dream monster's body, probably needing some time to restore.

Even the most powerful ordinary weapons cannot kill dream monsters, but Wen Wen didn't care if he killed them; he just needed the thrill.

He somehow procured a cigar, puffing clouds as he waited for more nightmare monsters to approach.

The beauty of dreams is that whatever Wen Wen thinks of, appears around him.

The sound of grenades attracted other dream monsters, which swarmed towards Wen Wen.

Some transformed into beauties, others into terrifying beasts, and some into indescribable entities. Most cleverly, some became walking Oreo cookies.

Wen Wen held a grenade launcher in each hand, with cigars clamped at each corner of his mouth, unleashing a rampage in the sanctuary.

With his formidable precision and reaction ability, these dream monsters hit by grenades no matter what form they took.

Even more absurdly, both of Wen Wen's grenade launchers had unlimited ammo!

Menglan waited for a while but didn't sense any fear transmitted, raising doubts as she began walking towards Wen Wen's location.

She originally wasn't interested in the sanctuary, but glancing at a few cells along the way, she couldn't take her eyes off them.

These cells contained mutilated monsters performing mechanical motions; some even had only a tail writhing around.

This results from the dream's owner having hazy memories of such things, leading them to appear incomplete in the dreamscape.

Yet, even these are shockingly realistic to Menglan, as they can't be imagined solely through delusions.

This implies that somewhere in the world, such a place truly exists, and this dream's owner has seen it.

Could such a person be ordinary, or did they run into a formidable opponent this time?

Menglan was pondering when a grenade struck her, without causing her to flinch.

Even among nightmares, Menglan belonged to the highest tier; she was a true-order rank nightmare!

Due to the special nature of nightmares, she could exert power far beyond the ordinary true order in the dreamscape; mere grenade launchers could only manage her minions, not threatening her whatsoever.

"Tsk, you finally came, I've been waiting for you for a while."

Upon hearing this, Menglan's heart sank—this person seemed to be targeting her, but she wasn't afraid, confident in her strength.

Seeing Menglan, Wen Wen breathed a sigh of relief; it's good to see a nightmare.

Nightmares can traverse the dreamscape, requiring only complete focus for two seconds, so before a nightmare appears before him, Wen Wen doesn't fully exhibit his powers.

If nightmares sense danger, they would immediately leave this dream, tracking them down again would be incredibly challenging.

However, once Menglan appeared before him, Wen Wen was confident she wouldn't have the chance to focus for two seconds and leave this dream.

"Here, put this on first."

Wen Wen tossed a robe to Menglan, causing her to briefly pause.

"I don't fight indecent women because it's improper decorum, so you better put on some clothes."

Wen Wen actually liked opponents as 'uninhibited' as Menglan; if it were the real world, he'd insist on battling her for three hundred rounds.

Yet, thinking about being in a dream, with Mefna and Moyadi guarding his body outside, and unable to control his body while dreaming, if overexcited content stimulates him, it would be quite embarrassing.

Understanding Wen Wen's intention, Menglan's face flushed, feeling insulted by him.

After being annoyed for two seconds, Menglan suddenly let out a charming laugh, her outfit quickly changing into a buttonless vest on top and a fabric-saving slit skirt below.

"Oh, I see, this is your weakness; I'll make good use of it!"

Wen Wen's face flushed, furiously smashing the grenade launcher, looking vexed: "You're vicious, woman; you need to be taught a lesson."
