Bully Lord

Part-170

Part-170

Just as Alex began to lift his hand, preparing to launch a surprise knee strike to James’s face, James was already moving. He anticipated the attack with perfect timing, his body coiled like a spring, ready to unleash a counterstrike of his own.

The instant Alex’s knee shot forward, James was prepared, his reflexes sharp and his focus unbreakable. With a swift, calculated motion, he intercepted the knee strike before it could land, using his own momentum to push Alex off balance.

A smirk playing on his lips as he braced himself to deliver the finishing blow. He wasn’t just reacting; he was controlling the flow of the fight, ensuring that Alex’s tricks would lead only to his own downfall.

Before Alex could recover, James launched another attack. He grabbed Alex's arm and twisted it, forcing him to his knees. With a final blow to Alex's stomach, James sent him crashing to the ground.

Alex lay on the ground, gasping for breath. He looked up at James, his eyes filled with fear and disbelief. He had been so confident in his victory, but now he was the one who had been defeated.

James stood over Alex, his expression cold and unyielding. "That's what happens when you underestimate your opponent," he said.

Alex tried to rise to his feet, but his body was too weak. He looked up at James with a mixture of shame and anger. "You're lucky," he muttered. "I wasn't trying to kill you."

James scoffed. "Oh, really?" he replied. "I think you were trying to seriously injure me."

As Alex lay on the ground, his pride bruised and his spirit broken, James stood over him, his gaze cold and unwavering. "Are you ready to tell the truth?" he asked, his voice filled with a quiet menace.

Alex spat on the floor, his anger momentarily clouding his judgment. "I was never directly involved with them," he said, his voice thick with defiance. "They just wanted to gather information about our students' behavior. In return, they promised me a decent sum."

James was puzzled. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice filled with confusion.

Alex shrugged his expression a mix of resignation and defiance. "Look, they can't fool everyone on a large scale," he explained. "They only target those they believe they can trick. But it doesn't matter if you can't catch them. They're far bigger than you think."

James frowned, his mind racing with questions. "Who are 'they'? You mean Spider Eyes?" he asked, his voice filled with urgency.

Alex laughed, his contempt for James evident. "Spider Eyes is just a group, nothing more, nothing less," he replied. "The real head of the organization is Fire Fly."

James was stunned. He felt like he heard of Fire Fly before. However when he tried to recall any information he had gathered about the scammers, but nothing matched the name. Where did he heard that? Well, for now he wasn't that concern about this.

"Tell me more about them," he demanded, his voice filled with a newfound determination.
