Boy With Love

Chapter 9: NINE | SWEET SORROW

CHAPTER NINE | SWEET SORROW

ARTHUR

It felt as if the world had stopped the longer I kept going through the pages of Ciara's diary. I find it funny how some weeks ago, I thought I committed an atrocious act for hitting on my sister's boyfriend. Who would have thought that I'm just a surface level evil learner compared to my sister.

"One blow job, one job well done. I just passed my mathematics examination." Another page of her dairy says.

I wasn't sure if I should gag or cry, so I just acted numb.

Picking up the next page I could lay my hands on, I read its contests out loud in an attempt to wake myself up from the nightmare I'm having but alas, I still found myself wide awake. "I wonder if Daddy would make me the heir to his empire if I ride his dick well. I wonder if Daddy would become my bitch if I give him everything Mummy is too busy giving other men to give him."

"No! No! No!" My horror struck self yells, face contouring in disgust and anger.

Why would she write that blatant lie? Why is she dragging the name of our family in the mud?

My mother can act like she can die because of the good looks of a man when she sees a hot one but she has never and would never cheat on my daddy. She loves him.

My legs move with a mind of its own, collecting all the copies of the diary, reading through them before stuffing them in my bag, away from the world where it should have always been.

Ciara's diary had no limits, she even went as far as writing down the number of guys she has slept with, how long and thick their dick's are and her favourite dick to ride.

She went as far as describing the number of times she has cheated on Luca.

It's safe to say that not only did she destroy her reputation for the rest of her life, she has also destroyed the family's image too.

As much as I'm happy Ciara's evil deeds are being exposed, I didn't want the destruction it's bringing to my family's image.

I try to collect as much as I can to keep them away from the eager eyes of my school students but it's fruitless since they've not only seen it but also taken pictures of most of them.

I pause my diary pages haunt, hurriedly pulling out my phone to confirm if my fears are trying. Sure enough, it is. The pages of my sister's very private and explicit diary are currently the most trending thing on the internet.

The diary pages are spreading like wide fire in a dry bush, people of my town and of the world, commenting their trashy opinion about it.

Turning my phone off due to the toxic comments coming from it, I resume my task, more determination pushing me to collect the pages faster.

I peek at the one on my hands while on my way to snatch the next from someone's hands but stop when I read the contents. "Getting drugs to frame poor little Arthur was quite easy. By the time I'm done with that bastard, he'll kill himself."

All my zeal evaporates until it seems like it was never there. Here I am, trying to protect my sister, a person who hated me enough to frame me for something as horrible as drug dealing when she is fully aware of the consequences it could have caused on my life.

A tap brings my attention back to reality and it is Mandy, holding another page of Ciara's diary. "You need to see this." She says, giving me a comforting pat on the back.

The page says, "I can't stand him! Gosh, I can't stand my brother. He has everything while I have nothing and now, he is desperately trying to take Luca away from me too. I can't let that happen, I'd rather die than let that happen. I have a plan, a really good plan. If I can't make Arthur stay away from Luca, then I'll surely make sure Luca stays far away from Arthur."

If that wasn't enough blow to me, the next page Mandy hands almost causes me to pass out. "I just found out a juicy secret. I was going through my mother's stuff and mistakenly found proof that Arthur King isn't Aurora King's son. He's actually a bastard."

The world stops, the voices of everyone around me fading out. My breath comes out harsh and restricted, heart pounding like I just ran a marathon.

A sudden headache plagues my head as I read and reread the page of Ciara's diary I'm holding.

Like an interrupted dream, Mandy's voice barges into my foggy mind, bringing me back to reality."ARTHUR! Arthur! Oh my god, I think he's having a panic attack. Oh my goodness, what the hell did I do?"

I stagger, clenching the paper tightly. "How…"

Like a drunkard, I walk slowly and with purpose. Snatching the next page I could get my hands on, my shaky hands brought it to eye level, ready to read its contents. "So, I confronted my mother. She told me every fucking thingy. LoL. Apparently, she was betrothed to my dad who was in love with someone else. My father adamantly insisted that he'll marry whoever his heart chose. My grandparents drugged my father so that my mother could hook up with him. My mother got pregnant but unfortunately, my father's lover got pregnant three months later. Using the pregnancy as an advantage, my grandparents forced my father to marry my mother. When Arthur was born, my father adopted him. Who's going to tell the bastard that he's a bastard? LoL!!!!"

Could anything be worse than finding out the woman you call mother isn't actually your mother in a crowd full of toxic highschool students that found out you're a bastard before you did.

Just when I thought the day couldn't get any worse, the dam in my eyes breaks when I look up to see Luca Redington, hoisting a lady's leg around his waist as they make out like they want to eat each other up. The lady isn't my sister like I expected, it's Else, my sister's best friend.
