When he looked into the mirror he saw that he had grown a second pair of horns underneath his other pair.

The two pairs looked like crystal but were so black that he had to look closely to realize that the shine on them was more than a reflection of a glossy surface like the horns of certain cattle.

His eyes had changed in a very strange way as well, before they had actually been fairly normal looking eyes but with sclera that became more black with each evolution.

Now he saw his crimson irises has changed from a circle to a bizarre star shape.

The way his wings had looked before were no different from bat wings but now he saw that the muscles in what would be considered rhe bicep were much thicker and the thumb at the joint of his wing seemed to have gotten shorter with a sharper claw.

He also saw that his tail was significantly longer like a bull whip with an arrowhead tip.

The most bizarre change was when he checked his body and began to notice changes to his figure, he was leaner and slightly taller.

As he removed his shirt to check the extent of the changes he heard a strange sigh, looking back he saw the queen staring at him with a pleased and slightly smug expression.

"Male devils are supposed to be slim, the most ideal male figure is a tall and slim one with wings that fold up into such a thin state that they fould be confused for sword sheaths."

She was chuckling now.

"Whatever you got that made you become this must be trying to drive you crazy because you won't have a single moments peace... especially with a tail like that."

He slightly covered his chest out of embarrassment and when she brought up his tail he immediately pulled it up against his chest like she had just suggested removing it.

"Hey I like my tail too but that just seems a little much..."

She looks at him and then began to laugh.

"Does your home not have superficial physical attractiveness? Do the males of your home not have a preference for how a female's hair looks? Or how long their legs are?"

He was going to refute the idea but that would just be objectively false.

"Ok yeah I get it but it's extremely embarrassing to know that you're staring at me like that..."

She turned her gaze away with a small smile.

When he saw that she was being polite he felt less embarrassed by her claims of his body being made to drive infernal women nuts, with his worries in the back of his mind he decided to check his status.

As he read through his skills he was shocked to see that he had somehow become potentially the most powerful shadow magic user in the game in terms of players.

He remembered how the gear he had obtained had across been so good because it protected him from the damage of his own mana.

Now he saw that he could use it as recklessly as he wished as long as he fought alone.

He began to try it out and as he used his mana he noticed that his unique gear seemed to be.... reacting strangely.

He almost felt as if the gear were trying to do something as each piece pulsed with mana he hadn't felt before.

'Strange...'

"So the new bloodline is pretty good..."

"Oh? What did you obtain?"

She approached him with a curious smile and screamed when she saw him suddenly stab himself with a knife made of the shadow element.

"What are you doing! Why are you trying to kill yourself!"

She yanked his arm away and began trying to heal him but her attempts stopped as she stared at him with astonishment.

"Did you get some kind of high speed regeneration skill?!"

He shook his head and laughed.

"Nah something less cool but still pretty strong I think... I have immunity to the shadow element now apparently."

He was surprised when she inhaled sharply, she looked in those strange eyes of his to see if he was playing some joke on her.

"You truly obtained an immunity?"

He nodded.

"Yeah I mean I know that's probably pretty good but is it really that different from having 100% resistance to a damage?"

"Of course it is! If someone with full resistance faces someone with a full piercing skill then the defense is useless!"

'Piercing skill?'

"Additionally if you faced a proper shadow mage that used piercing based spells then they would still be able to bypass a portion of your resistance to damage you."

He was astonished by this news and with it he had a sudden and incredible idea.

"Hey how would you like to see me get a fifth piece of unique gear?"

He was grinning savagely as he suddenly hungered for a chance to use his new power.

"Oh no, no you don't. You aren't leaving here for a long time! You just got here and I don't want to lose sight of you!"

As she said this she glanced down and he realized her eyes had been drawn to his tail again making him sigh in defeat.

'Jesus christ is this how women feel when men can't stop looking at their tits?'

"Focus! Why can't I just return long enough to beat the dungeon solo? I can quite literally kill her on my own now that her primary source of damage is useless against me."

She sighed in defeat and nodded.

"Fine but first you reach the next evolution and you get your class advancement done. You keep neglecting your class and you are so close to your next evolution that it's a waste to not finish it."

He nodded and she began to lead him to the edge of the city.

Outside of the walls he saw something that he had not expected.

Purple slimes the size of buildings.

"Holy hell, those things look like they would be a pain to fight if someone was a martial class..."

"Actually they are quite simple, we sometimes harvest them for their cores so we can power the city defenses and to occasionally reward citizens by letting them use the mana to cultivate."

"You can cultivate with mana cores from a monster?"

She was so caught off guard she actually laughed sharply in astonishment.

"Oh by the gods I really do have to teach you from the ground up don't I?"

He got embarrassed for a moment before he just jumped off the wall with his wings open, he activated his flight skill and began to ascend above the slimes.

"Be careful! They spew fire and poison!"

He nodded and with a large smile he cast his signature spell.

With oure void mana filling every needle he felt the power radiating from his wings so he began to test his power.

He released his spell in a massove volley that penetrated deep into the slime with many striking the five cores in it's body.

When they began to burst into a blaze of black fire fueled by void mana the slime died before it could even make a move.

With this he looked at his new hunting ground with a grin.

In the city of Raylock the players were currently having the time of their lives as the mana in the world had seemingly brought a new max level to the monsters outside of the city.

They were hunting down creatures that now matched the level of the dungeon boss at nightmare difficulty and although the dungeon still gave the greatest amount of experience it still helped them to grow if they hunted outside.

It also helped the newer players get power leveled by their clan members.

With their newly increased fame War God and Shade were recruiting very easily, they had an entire group of clan members showing up in Raylock as Layla used their knowledge of the dungeon to bring players in.

She used the system to make contracts that prevent players from exposing the information to others through the game, they would only bring the players through the hard mode and if they earned a high position down the line they would bring the players into the nightmare difficulty.

At least thats the promise she makes them.

The thing that made the group the most wanted by many new players was the apparent closeness of the clan leader to the celestial player, the player that was also the current number one in the world.
