Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 692: -137- Goodbye Badak (6000 words)_2

These Stone-statue Ghosts had been left over from Lord Cosy's time, creatures capable of easily suppressing Legendary beings with their Magic Energy Formation!

Yulster knew that the True Ancestor's power was still recovering and that the True Ancestor had a natural Bloodline Suppression against the Bloodline, but Stone-statue Ghosts were not of the Bloodline.

These Puppet lives... were specifically created to intimidate those rebellious High Tier Bloodline members.

But now... they had been instantly killed by their own attacks just upon encounter!

Yulster couldn't help but look towards Charlotte, his heart tumultuous:

The True Ancestor's strength... must have indeed recovered to the Mythical level!

And upon looking at the destroyed Stone-statue Ghosts, he became more certain in his heart.

Notwithstanding, although the True Ancestor had killed the Stone-statue Ghosts with overwhelming power, the heads of these statues had not been destroyed.

In other words, the soul cores of these Stone-statue Ghosts remained intact, and as long as new bodies and Inscription Arrays were replaced, they could still be repaired.

This obviously left room for repair.

From the small to see the large, the True Ancestor... apparently did not intend to completely annihilate the Nais Clan, but rather, it seems that he truly intended to bring the Nais Clan back under his command!

The True Ancestor... really was different now, he had become more tolerant, and much more benevolent!

With this thought, Yulster's pressure and guilt lessened somewhat, and he looked at Charlotte with more respect and gratitude.

Charlotte looked at him puzzledly, not knowing what had gotten into him.

However, Yulster's judgement wasn't wrong.

In a sense, Charlotte's current strength was indeed Mythical.

Of course, only a Demigod, and still required burning Divine Power continuously.

But... to create havoc at the Nais Clan's headquarters, it had been enough.

As for not destroying the heads of the Stone-statue Ghosts... that was purely Yulster overthinking, the truth was Charlotte didn't know, nor did she think too much about it.

She had simply been concerned about inaccuracies when throwing back the attacks, so she had lowered her aim a bit, targeting the larger body parts of the statues instead.

Of course, if Charlotte knew the secret of the Stone-statue Ghosts, nine out of ten times she would indeed make the same choice. Yulster was quite right in his overthinking, Charlotte indeed did not plan to completely eradicate the Nais Clan but hoped to integrate them.

"Clearing... failed..."

"Activate... Level One Alert Alarm..."

Intermittent voices came out from the mouths of Stone-statue Ghosts, and as the lights went out, the Stone-statue Ghosts sent out a warning.

Streams of red light pillars centered around the Magic Array shot into the sky, blooming into blossoms of blood-red fireworks.

Charlotte looked up and did not stop it.

Soon, the premises of the Nais Clan were bustling.

The Bloodlines residing in the castle were finally stirred.

The first to be activated were a group of Transcendents in gray clothes, led by several Black Robe Bloodlines.

Charlotte glanced at them and recognized them as what Yulster had mentioned on the road as the Nais Clan's security forces, composed of Mid to Low Tier Bloodlines and Blood Servants.

Of course, while termed as security forces, the strength of these Bloodlines was very low, the highest among them only being a Viscount, and most were Barons.

This level of strength was at most useful for High Tier Bloodlines to help out, maintain security of their outposts, and to serve as cannon fodder if something were to happen.

However, the Blood Servants were quite capable.

Their strength was even higher than those leading Bloodlines, the weakest at Silver Moon, and not lacking Blazing Sun.

They also wore chains, looking less like security forces and more like prisoners.

An idea flickered in Charlotte's mind.

These were probably Transcendents who had been forcefully taken as Blood Servants by the Bloodlines, their power originating not from the Bloodlines, but still mainly from the Transcendent powers they had before becoming Blood Servants.

The so-called Nais Clan security force, these Blood Servants as Transcendents were probably the real main force.

Indeed, upon noticing the situation at the Teleportation Array, they quickly came over.

The Bloodline at the forefront looked quite young, and upon seeing the Stone-statue Ghosts shattered around the Teleportation Array, his expression suddenly changed.

"Who dares cause trouble in Nais Castle? Nais followers, capture them at once!"

He looked at Charlotte and Yulster hidden in the shadows, and commanded the Blood Servants.

Evidently, this young Bloodline had no idea what the destruction of the Stone-statue Ghosts guarding the Teleportation Array meant.

"Wait!"

Seeing the Blood Servants about to make a move, Yulster hurriedly shouted.

He stepped forward from the shadows.

"Yul... Lord Yulster?"

The leading Bloodline paused.

Yulster nodded.

He glanced at Charlotte, hesitated for a moment, then said:

"This is a friend of Lord Badak from the past. Go tell Lord Badak that an old acquaintance has come to visit the Nais Clan."

"Lord Badak's... old acquaintance?"

The Low Tier Bloodlines looked at each other in hesitation, uncertain of how to act for a moment, until a low voice came from behind the security forces:

"Yulster? You rascal, when did you return without making a sound?"

That was a Blood Count.
