A surge of blue Reiatsu flared around Grimmjow, roaring outward and shattering the eight massive purple slashes rushing toward him. His form shifted in a violent burst—hair lengthening into a wild azure mane that spilled down his back, mask fragment settling across his forehead, body encased in white armor that hugged his frame, claws lengthening to razor points. A predator reborn.

"Shinigami," Grimmjow's voice was a feral snarl. "This is my ResurrecciĂłn. You're dead."

The blue spiritual pressure crashed against Shiraha like a tidal wave, sweeping away the seventy-fold weight that had been crushing him.

Five emerald projectiles launched from Grimmjow's elbows in a sharp volley. "Claw of the Leopard King!" he roared, sonido carrying him in a blur behind Shiraha as twin arcs of searing blue energy tore from his claws.

For an instant Grimmjow could already see Shiraha's body shredded under his strike. But Shiraha still stood, smiling, eyes locked on him. "Grimmjow, I told you—you can't get close without my permission."

His ResurrecciĂłn had pushed Grimmjow's power past that of most captains, but strength meant nothing if it couldn't reach its mark. The five emerald bolts hung in the air before Shiraha, crawling forward at a snail's pace. Grimmjow's claws, poised to tear into flesh, slowed as if mired in thick tar. The last meter between them had become a gulf no force could cross.

"How…? What the hell is this ability?" Grimmjow's voice broke with disbelief.

"Seventy times the gravity," Shiraha said evenly.

The weight intensified. Grimmjow's Reiatsu flared violently, steel skin resisting the crushing force, but it still took every ounce of his will to remain upright and keep moving.

Far off, Glanz and Xiao Long buckled. Bones cracked audibly beneath the invisible mountain pressing them down. Masks split, bodies twisted. Internal organs compressed into bloody vapor. Their screams were short-lived—then their forms crumbled into scattering reishi, erased from existence.

"Shinigami!" Grimmjow's roar shook with rage. "You killed Glanz and Xiao Long! I'll bury you with them. That ability of yours can't last forever."

Shiraha's smile never wavered. "If you think so… try."

The truth was absolute—his passive technique, Stopping Power, drawn from the limitless template, consumed almost nothing. Only poison could bypass it, and Grimmjow had nothing of the sort. Every other attack was rendered useless, the wielder frozen in futility.

Shunpo blurred Shiraha's form into Grimmjow's guard. Armament Haki coated his right hand and staff-blade as he swung for the neck.

"Clang!" Grimmjow's armored claws caught the strike, sparks spitting into the air.

But even as he blocked, hairline fractures laced the armor at the point of impact.

Grimmjow's Reiatsu still outstripped Shiraha's, yet much of it was burning away just to resist the crushing gravity. Against Shiraha's relentless assaults, the balance was tipping.

Shiraha flickered from one angle to another—behind Grimmjow, then at his flank, then above—each appearance heralded by the blur of Shunpo and the bite of steel.

"Clang, clang, clang!" The air rang with steel meeting steel, shockwaves shredding clouds overhead. The ground for leagues fractured into jagged ravines under the constant quakes of their blows.

Thousands of strikes landed in moments. Grimmjow blocked most with claws and armor, but enough slipped through to carve bloody gouges into his unarmored flesh. Blood pattered against shattered stone.

Each time he tried to retaliate, the same fate awaited—within a meter of Shiraha, his speed withered, movements sluggish as if trapped underwater, his claws hovering inches from the kill. Forced into stillness, he could only endure the punishment.

At last, a resounding crack split the air—his chestplate shattered, fragments scattering like dying sparks.

Shiraha's eyes narrowed, Armament Haki surging as he lunged for Grimmjow's heart. But in the breath before impact, Grimmjow vanished, sonido hurling him hundreds of meters away.

"Heh… a mere Shinigami with such an ability?" His breath came ragged, each word edged with both fury and disbelief. Blood streamed freely down his sides, dripping to the rubble below. "Don't tell me it costs you nothing to use."

Shiraha didn't answer. The truth was written in his stillness, in the way the weight around Grimmjow hadn't lessened. Grimmjow realized then—against an opponent whose power rendered all offense meaningless while demanding almost nothing in return—this battle could only end one way. And time was not on his side.
