Glanz's wounds sealed instantly as his Resurrección took hold. For Arrancar, returning to blade form meant regeneration—unless crippled beforehand, most injuries simply vanished.
"Cut it down, Five-Claw Worm!"
Xiao Long's release followed. His flesh hardened into chitin, tail curling into the form of a scissor-wasp's sting. The remnants of his mask expanded from the left side of his face to his chin. Arms lengthened into pale, bladed bone. Both he and Glanz now stood transformed, their power elevated to somewhere between vice-captain and lower-tier captain level. Still, the clash between Shiraha and Grimmjow was beyond their reach.
"Shinigami… show me your true strength!"
Grimmjow's voice was sharp with anticipation. In the next instant, he vanished in a blur, reappearing directly in front of Shiraha. His Zanpakutō cleaved downward in a brutal arc—
Shiraha only smiled. He didn't move.
"What—?!" Grimmjow's eyes widened. The moment his blade crossed the one-meter threshold, his movements slowed to a crawl. Shiraha stood within reach, yet was untouchable.
"You can't even get close to me," Shiraha said lightly. "So how can you kill me?"
This was the manifestation of the Gojo Satoru template—the Infinity—an absolute barrier that halted anything physical before it could connect. No blade, no fist, no blast could pass. Poison alone might slip through, but against raw offense, the ability was nearly invincible. Even Yamamoto Genryūsai in full Bankai could not bridge that final meter.
Grimmjow's power rivaled the higher Gotei captains—Byakuya among them—but what use was strength if it could not touch the target?
"Sixty times the gravity."
Shiraha's voice was calm, almost bored, but the spiritual pressure around them twisted violently. Sixtyfold gravitational force slammed into Grimmjow, Glanz, and Xiao Long.
Grimmjow staggered under the crushing weight, every muscle and bone screaming. Sparks flared from his hierro as the invisible pressure gnawed at him, compressing flesh and armor alike.
"Crack—" The sound of fracturing bones cut through the air. Grimmjow's Reiatsu flared desperately, but Shiraha's gravity pressed on the inside as well as the outside, crushing organs and sinew alike.
Xiao Long and Glanz fared worse. Their bodies slammed into the ground, coughing blood as gashes split their skin. The earth beneath them gave way, collapsing into a deep crater. Neither could move.
"This… what is this Zanpakutō ability?!" Glanz's voice shook.
"Agh… let's just hope Grimmjow handles him," Xiao Long rasped, blood on his lips. His focus narrowed solely to resisting the weight, each second a battle for survival.
"I don't believe it," Grimmjow snarled through clenched teeth, "that I can't touch you!"
Bleeding, shaking under the gravity, he moved in short bursts, trying to circle Shiraha. But the moment his blade entered that cursed one-meter space, time itself seemed to thicken, halting his strike.
"Grimmjow," Shiraha said softly, "I told you—you can't get close to me."
When Grimmjow appeared before him again, Shiraha's right hand rose, blackened with Armament Haki. His staff-blade shimmered with the same coating, then carved ten sweeping arcs.
From the blade burst ten massive crescent slashes, each glowing violet, tens of meters long. They ripped forward, cleaving the ground and everything in their path. Deep gouges tore across Naruki City's ruined streets.
"BakudĹŤ #61: RikujĹŤkĹŤrĹŤ!"
Six golden rods of light slammed into Grimmjow's torso, pinning him in place. Sixtyfold gravity crushed him from all sides, and now he was locked by KidĹŤ.
"Damn it—!" He barely brought his Zanpakutō up, blocking two slashes, steel shrieking against condensed energy. The impact hurled him to the ground, detonating the earth beneath in a shockwave that split the ground for a kilometer around.
The remaining eight slashes rained down, swallowing him whole.
"Kill him, Leopard King!" Grimmjow roared from within the storm, forcing his blade forward as his body ignited with the light of his own ResurrecciĂłn.
