Bleach: The Invincible Slacker from Rukongai

Chapter 321: Advanced Hollows Appear in the Outer Circle

If he wants to continue developing the abilities of Infinite Tsukuyomi and the Hogyoku, he must find some significantly more powerful enemies to test himself against.

The current enemies he's been facing are far too weak for his purposes, so Uehara Shiroha is prepared to enter Hueco Mundo with the incredible items he has just obtained.

If the Hogyoku can absorb the spiritual energy from more low-level Hollows, the power level of the Hogyoku can be gradually improved and enhanced.

He arrived at the outer circle of Hueco Mundo, the desolate region where low-level Hollows typically appear and hunt.

There are no cities, no streets, and not even the faintest signs of any intelligent life here. It's nothing but endless desert stretching in every direction as far as the eye can see.

Uehara Shiroha wandered seemingly aimlessly through the outer circle, carefully concealing his spiritual pressure and true intentions.

From a considerable distance, he spotted a huge figure with the characteristic white mask and a gaping hole in its chest, which represented the most typical features of a low-level Hollow.

Seeing his intended hunting target right in front of him, Uehara Shiroha allowed himself to show a predatory, greedy smile.

He had just taken a few casual steps forward when a desperate hand suddenly grabbed him and pulled him aside with surprising force.

When he looked up in surprise, he saw a man with a severely injured shoulder standing before him. The stranger was gasping heavily for breath while trying to cover the bleeding wound on his shoulder with his trembling hand.

The man took several deep, labored breaths before he managed to speak through the pain.

"Don't go any closer. These creatures are not as easy to deal with as they appear."

Uehara Shiroha smiled with calm confidence and amusement.

"You're seriously underestimating me. Not everyone is a helpless loser like you seem to be."

"This kind of low-level Hollow should be nothing more than a piece of cake for someone of my capabilities."

"Looking at those nasty wounds covering your body, I'm guessing you were bitten and mauled by these creatures?"

The injured man subconsciously glanced down at the gaping wound on his shoulder and then answered with obvious difficulty.

"There are far more than just low-level Hollows in this area now."

Uehara Shiroha squinted his eyes and looked carefully into the distance, double and triple-checking what he was seeing, and then spoke with growing confusion.

"A white mask with a huge hole in the chest. That's definitely a low-level Hollow, isn't it?"

The moment he finished speaking, a much larger, higher-level Hollow of significantly greater size suddenly appeared directly in front of the smaller, weaker Hollow and devoured it completely with its massive, gaping mouth.

The shocking scene unfolding before him made Uehara Shiroha's eyes narrow with genuine concern for the first time.

Only then did he begin to realize that something was fundamentally wrong with this situation. He turned to look directly at the wounded man and asked with growing urgency.

"These high-level Hollows are definitely not easy opponents to deal with. If they keep continuously devouring low-level Hollows in the outer circle like this, their abilities and power will be greatly improved with each meal.

This is supposed to be the outer circle, the designated area where only low-level Hollows are meant to exist and hunt. Why are high-level Hollows appearing and operating in this region?"

The man looked extremely weak and pale, with cold sweat beading on his forehead, and he answered with obvious difficulty and pain.

"I honestly don't know the reason either. Maybe there's some kind of crack or rupture between the inner and outer circles that's allowing them to cross over."

When Uehara Shiroha looked back toward the feeding Hollow again, he could clearly see that the high-level Hollow was indeed noticeably larger and more powerful than it had been just moments before.

Witnessing this disturbing scene, Uehara Shiroha found himself hesitating for the first time in a long while. Meanwhile, the wounded man began to plead desperately.

"Can you please kill me quickly with one clean strike? I don't want to transform and become like these monstrous creatures."

"I can't hold on much longer. The Hollowfication process is already starting."

Uehara Shiroha gripped his Zanpakuto tightly and studied the desperate man in front of him with calculating eyes.

"I'm certainly willing to help you with that final request, but before I do, you need to do me one small favor in return."

"Tell me exactly where this crack between the circles is located and explain why it appeared between the inner and outer circles in the first place."

The man kept shaking his head frantically, his condition clearly deteriorating rapidly.

"I was just trying to hunt some of these low-level Hollows to collect their spiritual energy and use it to upgrade my own power level."

"I never expected to encounter so many high-level Hollows in what should have been a safe hunting ground."

"Please, just kill me with one swift strike. I really can't hold on any longer. If you don't do it right now, it's going to be too late to save me."

As he spoke these desperate words, the man's facial expression suddenly became twisted and ferocious, his features beginning to distort in an unnatural way.

Uehara Shiroha's expression hardened as he raised his Zanpakuto with practiced efficiency. With one precise, merciful strike of his blade, he permanently resolved the man's suffering and prevented his transformation into a Hollow.
