Chapter 304 - New World
When Zion descended back into the world, everything was different. He still recognized the familiar places, such as the Astir Kingdom, Alfheim, and many others. However, the sky was filled with floating islands with an angelic presence that filled the air.
The world of the demons was now a neighboring continent, only separated from the middle world continent by sea, not space like it normally was.
"Wow, this is different. Gonna take some time getting used to this." Zion chuckled as he looked around the world. He saw that many people were extremely confused by their current situation, but they would adjust in time.
"So, what do you plan on doing now that your mission is complete?" Gaia asked, shifting into her smaller state so she could fit inside the world.
"I have a lot of work left. I have to combine everyone's way of life while implementing the things that I want. I plan on making this world a Type-3 civilization before I leave." Zion said with excitement.
"A type-3 civilization? What does that mean?"
"Back on earth, there was this famous scientist who made a theory on how advanced certain types of civilizations can be," Zion explained what it was to Gaia, and she was impressed by that scientist.
"That might take some time, though. According to what you told me."
"Nah, magic exists. Things will be a lot easier. I already created devices that should only be possible by a type-1 civilization, and I'm near completion on a Dyson sphere. Magic is awesome."
"Hmmm. Alright. I'll give you 200 years. After that, you will start your new work." Gaia patted him on the back
"What will you do until then?" He wondered
"Relax. Go on vacation. I wish to see how you'll transform this world. If it's very impressive, then I'll make you do that on the other worlds I'll be sending you to. That way, they will be as powerful as they can be with magic and technology."
"How many primordials did you piss off?"
"No, it's more like, how many primodrials hate me because I'm just so beautiful." She brushed her hair back and smiled.
"Sure."
"ZION!!!!"
Luminera and Erebosa flew at him at high speeds, ramming into his body as they hugged him tightly.
"Ooof! Haha, hey, what's up?" He asked, hugging them back.
"What happened? Are you okay? Everything exploded and then-"
Zion silenced the worrying Luminera by kissing her on the lips. She was not expecting him to do something so random, but she didn't stop him. Luminera had to admit that, over the years of getting to know Zion, she really warmed up to him and really liked his presence.
Now, feeling the mortal she saved from death kiss her as a god, her heart started to pound, and she couldn't deny the feelings she had.
"W-Wha-" Erebosa was stunned. She too felt the same way as her sister, but she never expected Zion to act first. She was honestly a bit jealous.
But she didn't have to wait long for her turn. Zion finished his kiss with Luminera and devoured the lips of her twin sister.
Erebosa didn't hold back, wrapping her arms and legs around Zion as they made out. She was more than happy to show her feelings toward him and wanted to show Zion how much he meant to her.
Eventually, their kiss also came to an end, and the three of them all laughed the moment off.
"Hello, mother." Luminera bowed.
"Hmph, now you greet me?"
"S-Sorry."
"Whatever." Gaia rolled her eyes.
"Mom, you were the one who saved us, right? From the explosion?" Erebosa asked
"That's right. This nucklehead blew up the sun, causing a supernova that blew up everything in the solar system." She slapped Zion on the back of his head.
"Ow! I knew you were watching anyway." He tried to argue.
"Hmph, I don't care. Don't do that again. But yes, I saved everyone and merged the three worlds together."
Zion raised his hand. "I told her to do that part."
"Wow. The three worlds living together, huh? That's a first. Well, I'm sure we can make it work. The nexus pools are all merged together as well. And there's a new divine realm for us to rule from." Luminera was looking forward to working with Zion in the future, now that they were both gods.
"Uhh, about that." He smiled wryly,
"He's working for me now." Gaia stepped up.
"Huhhh?! What do you mean by that? You can't take my champion!" Luminera argued
"Right! He's ours! Not yours!" Erebosa chimed in
"Well, you two fuck heads couldn't even save your so-called champion when he was dying! I was the one who stepped in and saved his life. How do you think he's a god right now? It's because of me! Because of that, he owes me and will be working for me from now on."
"That's not fair!"
"Fair? What's not fair is watching my world get destroyed because of YOUR champion. You should be thankful that this is the only punishment he will be getting."
The twins wanted to argue some more, but they couldn't win against their mother. Instead, they sucked up their pride and accepted the situation.
"Fine! When are you going to start your new mission?" Luminera asked
"200 years. That's all the time she's giving me." Zion responded.
"Then we'd better make the best out of these 200 years."
Erebosa squinted her eyes at Gaia, who had a smirk on her face. "What do you plan on doing during these upcoming 200 years?"
"Me? Oh nothing. Just enjoy some vacation here while making sure my two lovely daughters can protect the world."
The twins flinched.
"Y-You don't mean..."
"That's right." Gaia's lovely smile turned into a villainous grin. "I'm going to put you two through the ringer! How dare you almost die to those lesser gods! That's an insult to my name!"
"Wait! Mom! It wasn't like that!"
"Y-Yeah, mother, we can explain!"
"Hahaha! No!" Gaia grabbed their heads. "You're coming with me!" She teleported away.
"Ha, now they'll know how I feel. Serves them right." Zion felt instant relief in his chest. The shit that he had to go through was now being served to the twin goddesses as well. He couldn't have asked for anything better.
