Blade of the Goddess

Chapter 303 - Mission Complete

"Honestly, that boy is really something else. He knew I was watching, so he just went ahead and did his own thing. Well, that's why I like him. He'll be a great partner to work with." With a wave of her hand, the entire solar system was restored, even the moon Zion had destroyed when fighting against the dragons.

In space, Zion was floating above the main planet, unconscious from the supernova that went off in his face.

"Hey, wake up," Gaia demanded.

Zion's eyes didn't open.

"Wake up!" She flicked his head with her primordial finger, which jolted his body awake

"Arghh!! My head! What the hell?!" He shouted in anger

"What the hell? I should be asking that, you little brat! How dare you destroy the solar system! Are you mad?!" Gaia towered over Zion, her true form still being a lot to take in.

"What? I knew you were here anyway. You wouldn't allow for your world to be destroyed." He smirked

"How did you know I was here?" She wondered

"We're tethered, aren't we?" I can't be a god without the will of a world because if I were one, I would be a titan. I know I'm not a titan, so this means that we are connected and my godhood comes from you, kind of."

She shook her head, impressed that Zion managed to catch on to that. "Impressive. Still, that doesn't change the fact that you destroyed my solar system. I'm adding an extra few million years to your contract."

"What?! No way!"

"Hush, boy. You're a god; time is irrelevant to you now. And it will keep getting irrelevant when you eventually reach my level."

He raised an eyebrow. "You think I'm going to become a promordial?"

"I don't think you will, I know you will. I plan on nurturing you to that point. You've mastered some Authorities already and will continue to do so as a god. After that, you'll need to learn laws, but trust me, it's pretty easy. All you need to do is master the Authorities of mana."

"The fuck?" Zion looked at the primordial as if she were the craziest person alive. "There are hundreds and thousands of Aurhotires, how the hell would I master them all?"

"What are you talking about? There are only Authorities for the main elements of Elemental magic and Arcane magic. Oh, and I guess pure mana as well."

"Wait, so there are only Nine Authorities for Elemental mana, one for Arcane, and one for pure mana. Meaning there are only 11 authorities? Luminera and Lilith said that there were as many authorities as there are spells!"

Gaia rolled her planet-sized eyes. "That girl never took to my lessons properly. While she might be right in the sense that you would need to combine authorities for certain spells, it doesn't mean that there are multiple of them. Fire and lightning are still fire and lightning, no matter how you combine them."

'That bitch! I could have learned every authority by now if she had explained it properly!' Zion thought to himself.

"Don't worry, from what I can tell, you already mastered pure mana, fire, and lightning. Just a few more years and you'll have them all down."

"What? Oh, you can read my mind, I forgot. Anyway, can you restore the world to its former state before Bahamut ransacked it?" He asked

"Do you think I'm your planet fixer or something?"

"Yes," Zion responded confidently.

"Wow. I don't even have a comeback. Just, wow." She snapped her hands and did as he asked.

"One more thing."

Gaia grabbed Zion and pulled him close to her face. "Don't push your luck, child. I like you, so I'll help you out here and there, but don't mistake that for me being your servant."

"Pfft, yeah, okay. The primordial goddess who has bound me to a multimillion-year contract is complaining about me trying to HELP the world she wants me to protect. Okay."

If this were any other god, Gaia would have killed him. But because Zion was a child of two of her worlds, as well as the student of her daughters, she let things go. Besides, he wasn't wrong.

"Fine! What do you want?" She grumbled. Her voice alone causes a supermassive black hole to eat away at some space matter close to its event horizon.

"Merge the demon and angelic worlds with the middle world. No more separating. Everyone should live together."

"Hmm, that's not a bad idea. However, I wont uproot their way of life, so I'll be transferring their domains as well. There will be floating islands and demon lands around the world now."

Zion nodded. "That's fine. As long as everything is in one place."

Gaia snapped her hands and did as he asked.

After that, she morphed into her smaller body, still tall as fuck, but now not the size of a galaxy.

"Oh, I've always wondered what's up with the other side of the world. I cant see through that veil, and the team I sent over there to explore it said there was a barrier they couldn't cross. What's up with that?" Zion wondered as he looked at the 7-foot primordial.

"There? It's just the remains of the old world. Life started on that side, but after constant war, it was left ruined. The Great War, 10,000 years ago, was the final straw. After that, civilization shifted to the side you're currently living on."

"Huh, the more you know, I guess. By the way, you have a fat ass. Can I slap it?"

"Do you want to die?"

"For the second time? Nah."

"That's what I thought."

"Then again, I am immortal." He smirked.

"Zion, you are not-"

He slapped her ass. It jiggled from the force of his hand, and he gripped it to feel how plump it was.

"Hahah! Come and catch me!" He took off for the planet.

"You motherfucker!" All Gaia did was open her palm, and Zion was right in the middle of it.

"Huh? Wait! No! That's cheating! Wait! I'm sorry! It was a joke! Wait! AHHHHHHHHH!"
