Blade of the Goddess

Malrox groaned as a sharp pain ran through his body. He looked around, his vision doubling and his ears ringing. Slowly, he got up, debris falling off his back, and used a nearby wall as support.

His mind was fuzzy, and he had a throbbing headache, but after a few moments, he was able to recall what had happened.

"What the hell happened here?! Guards!" He shouted, but no one answered.

Screaming could be heard in the distance, not the screaming of joy or fear, but the screams of people dying brutally. It was the sound of a purge.

"Who dares to invade my territory and kill my people?!" Malrox took off in the direction of the screams, spotting a large army marching into his territory. They slaughtered anyone who attacked or threatened them with no mercy.

The very small remnants of his army were pushed back, killed, or forced to surrender. His defenses were destroyed, and his entire territory was defenseless.

"M-My lord! Thank goodness you're okay!" An injured demon said while flying toward him.

"Carlono! Do you know what happened here?!" Malrox asked

"N-No, sir. One moment, I was preparing to go to your office with vital information, then the next, everything just blew up!"

"What was the vital information?!"

"S-Sir, Lady Lilith is attacking us. I've learned that her territory is the only one that didn't suffer any destruction or losses."

"That cum sucking demon! Do you think she was behind the moon?"

Carlono shook his head. "No, sir. My sources can confirm that she was defending her territory from the moon fragments. She is probably using this opportunity to take what she wants now!"

"Dammit! That bitch couldn't do anything before, but now she's attacking when we're at our weakest?!"

"Sounds like something a demon would do, isn't it?" Lilith descended from the sky, wearing high-tech, but fashionable, armor she received from Zion. It was equipped with all the bells and whistles the nanosuits normally had, but this time, he allowed her to have access to his satellites.

"Lilith!" Malrox scowled

"Why are you saying my name like a slur? Do you hate me that much?" She teased

"Stop this at once! Do you think you'll get away with this?! Azmorath will have your head!"

"Gawk~Gawk~Gawk~"

"W-What are you doing?"

"I'm mimicking you sucking Azmorath's dick since that's all it seems you do."

"Bitch!" His anger rose, and he released his power.

"It's funny how you think you can win against me. You're the weakest and youngest one out of the five of us. You should know your place." Lilith released her power as well, dwarfing Malrox's own.

'S-Shit! When did she get this powerful?! I knew she was strong, but it was never like this!' He swallowed hard and prepared himself for battle.

"Andariel," Lilith called out.

"Yes, my Lady?" Lilith's right-hand woman appeared by her side.

"Make sure every demon is taken care of. I want this place completely under our control within the hour."

"I shall enact your will." Andariel vanished.

"Haah, finally! I can finally have my dreams come true! The demon world, all of it belonging to me! It makes me...so wet!"

Lilith vanished and clobbered Malrox in the face. He crashed into the ground but quickly got back up.

He stomped one foot on the ground and clapped his tentacles. "ERUPT!" The ground beneath him erupted into a massive pool of lava that shot upward like a geyser.

"Haah! Yes! Fight back! Show me how determined you are!" A heart-shaped shield deflected the lava, and a pink beam shot through it, piercing Malrox's shoulder.

"Agrh! Shit!" He leaped back, his jaw detached, and his mouth opened so wide he resembled a snake. Demonic energy charged up in his mouth before releasing a destructive blast that burned everything in its path.

Lilith smirked. "Tear." She only spoke a word, and the demonic energy dismantled itself.

"W-What?!"

The space around Lilith bent to her command, pulling her forward as she grabbed Malrox by the throat, slammed him on the ground, then shaped her fingers into a heart.

"Love bomb."

"W-Wait! Lilith! Let's talk about-"

*BOOOOM*

Malrox was dead.

"Damn, talk about being brutal."

Lilith turned around and saw Zion sitting on a destroyed wall, his feet dangling in the air.

"What are you doing here?"

He tossed the head of Zynoth and hopped off the wall.

"Thought you would want to know about this guy."

"So you killed him."

He pointed to the head. "No, I just asked him if I could borrow his head for a few minutes. Yes, I fucking killed him, dumbass."

"What did you call me?!"

"Ah-un, you can't intimidate me anymore, Lilith. I'm a demigod now, so I'm on the same level as Archdemons, hell, maybe even stronger since I'm also a daemon."

She smirked. "You do know that archdemons can become daemons too, right?"

"Yeah?" He didn't know why that was relevant.

"So, since demons are a higher level being than humans, don't you think the same would apply to our daemons?"

Now Zion understood what she was talking about. "Ahh, I get you. But let me ask you this question."

"Shoot."

"Are you a daemon?"

"I am not."

"Then shut the fuck up."

"YOU!"

"Ahh! Wait! I was just messing around! It was a joke! A joke!"

"Um, madam?" Andariel called out.

"Huh? Oh, Andariel. Yes, how may I help you?" Lilith held Zion upside down by the foot and was pummeling the poor guy in his face.

"W-We've cleared out the territory of any threats. The only ones remaining are the civilians, and we're keeping them on lockdown just in case."

"Great! Good job, Andariel. Stay here and monitor things while I'm gone."

Andariel nodded and told a part of the army to stay here with her so they could monitor things in Lilith's absence.

"Since you're here, Zion, you're coming with me."

"What if I don't wanna?" He argued.

"Too bad, too sad."
