Black Clover: Starting from the Sign-in

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 : Zero Domain Magic Comparable to the Magic Emperor

"No delight in the surprise?"

Yebuchi froze momentarily before shouting anxiously, "What do you mean, 'no delight in the surprise'? Let me remind you, my chain magic not only restricts your movements but also seals the magic within you!"

"Right now, with just a single thought, I can end you."

"You mean magic?"

Kuroha's smile deepened. "Earlier, you all said in the Magic Tower that I possessed upper third-tier magical power."

"But do you truly believe that's my limit?"

Bang!

Kuroha took a step forward. The chains binding his body tightened with a metallic clang, trembling as if struggling under an unbearable weight.

This was only the beginning.

He stepped again, and with the fall of his foot, the dormant magic within him erupted violently.

A ferocious wave of energy surged outward like a tidal storm.

The seemingly indestructible chains shattered inch by inch under the immense magical force, leaving the onlookers wide-eyed, their pupils contracting in shock.

The oppressive magical aura was identical to what they had felt in the Magic Tower—upper third-tier magical intensity.

However, this was merely the start.

When Kuroha took his third step, his already upper third-tier magical power soared higher, erupting like a volcanic explosion.

Boom!

The overwhelming surge of magic, like a dam bursting, swept across the land with an unstoppable force.

A column of radiant white magic shot into the sky, piercing through the dark clouds overhead.

The ground beneath Kuroha's feet cracked and shattered under the sheer pressure, while an invisible wave of force spread across the surrounding kilometers.

Even the walls of the Magic Tower, weathered through ages, fractured and crumbled.

Facing this magical storm, far surpassing upper third-tier power, Yebuchi and Yuno were the first to bear the brunt. With a thud, they both fell to the ground, unable to resist the crushing force.

Under the weight of this sudden surge, Yebuchi's face turned deathly pale. Struggling to lift his head, he looked at Kuroha and exclaimed in disbelief:

"This... this isn't upper third-tier power. It's first-tier... No... it surpasses even the Captains—it's Zero Domain!"

Zero Domain?

Yuno's expression changed drastically.

Unlike Asta, who had no magic, Yuno, a prodigy, understood exactly what Zero Domain represented.

It was a power that transcended the nine-tier magic system, considered the closest realm to the Magic Emperor.

If upper third-tier power rivaled Vice-Captains and first-tier power equaled ordinary Captains, then the magical strength Kuroha now displayed placed him among the rare few in the entire Clover Kingdom, who could be counted on two hands.

Reflecting on everything that had transpired in the Magic Tower, Yuno finally understood why Kuroha had only displayed upper third-tier power there.

Clearly, it was to avoid harming the innocent.

The thought of himself earlier, boasting about reaching the upper third-tier level, now felt utterly laughable in the face of Zero Domain's overwhelming magic.

"All right, the performance is over; it's time to wrap this up," Kuroha said with a warm smile as he walked toward Yebuchi.

Watching the approaching figure, resembling a harbinger of death, Yebuchi's face twisted with madness. He roared in desperation:

"I... I won't lose! I, Yebuchi of Chain Magic, will never lose to a mere brat!"

"You've stepped into my attack range. Now die!"

His hysterical roar echoed across the heavens.

The grimoire in front of Yebuchi flipped rapidly, unleashing a torrent of magic at its maximum output.

With a glare of fury, Yebuchi shouted again:

"Chain Serpent Dance!"

Swoosh!

Seven or eight serpent-like chains shot out from the grimoire, moving with incredible speed, closing the distance between them and Kuroha in the blink of an eye.

Yet, Kuroha remained unbothered, his expression calm.

With a simple gesture of his right hand, the crystalline magic book before him unleashed an overpowering magic.

"Ice Formation Magic: Frozen Fountain!"

An endless chill surged outward, freezing the air itself.

The approaching chain serpents hesitated for a brief moment mere centimeters from Kuroha before freezing mid-air.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The icy magic erupted from Kuroha's position like a fountain, spreading rapidly.

As it advanced, icy spikes and pillars burst forth from the ground, freezing everything in their path.

The wave of frost surged toward Yebuchi, encasing him in glimmering ice crystals before he could react.

Sharp, firework-like ice mountains erupted beneath Yebuchi, piercing through his body.

Scarlet blood splattered like a tide as his body was torn apart.

His severed head, eyes wide with disbelief, rolled to a stop at Kuroha's feet.
