Bittersweet Love: With A Millennium old Demon

Calista (POV)

 " Let's find a way to drug the prince and lure him into a room, my job is to spend the night with him, while you can go home" Aurora blatantly said, i could feel my face becoming flushed, and the room seemed to flow around like a boat. " That is impossible, and aren't you being shameless?" I asked, with a puzzled look.

 Firstly the prince is of the alpha bloodline, common drugs will not work, secondly it won't work because of the security,, thirdly it is just impossible. I knew she was coming up with something super ridiculously dangerous.

 " Cal" someone called, I turned to the direction from where the voice came from " prince Ezekiel!" I greeted with a slightly loud voice, while quickly glancing at Aurora.

 He came to where we were standing. " I hope you both are enjoying the party?" He asked politely. " yes we are" Aurora answered with a big smiling face, one might think her face would split from all those smiles. 

 I squinted my eyes as I stared back at the prince, I was pretty much already in the land of intoxication. " Prince Ezekiel, can I ask a question?" I asked.

 " Have you decided who your bride will be?" I continued as I grabbed another cup of wine, taking a sip from it. Prince Ezekiel looked at me with amusement " No, not yet" he answered with a smile. 

 " I know a very beautiful girl with a nice body proportion, she has a very stunn…ing look, she actually looks flawless, she is very smart and intelli…gent, and I think she would look great with you" I slurred with a grin, I was already feeling a little tipsy, so I relaxed at the table behind her. 

 This time around it was Aurora's turn to grab a drink and gulp it in one go as she knew she was the one I was talking about, her face flushed from embarrassment.

 Prince Ezekiel let out a nervous laugh " wow, you are so straight forward" he said as he placed one of his hands on my shoulder.

 My eyes almost popped out, as I was overwhelmed by his close contact, I tactically pulled myself away while joining him in the feat of laughter. 

 Aurora had a nervous laugh as she saw what happened, I looked at her, and I knew what was going on in her head" Since I regard you both as my friends now, I am going to tell you guys a secret" he whispered.

 Me and Aurora looked at each in anticipation as to what he had to say. We came closer to him as he was using his hand to indicate for us to come closer. 

 " I have someone who is very dear to me ". I looked at Aurora whose smile was leaving her face like a deflated balloon "and who could that be?" I probed subtly with a nervous laugh. 

 " she is the second daughter of Beta Mateo" he whispered before he continued " I heard she have a very beautiful green eyes, which is very rare, her beauty is compared to none, she is said to be the most stunning woman in crescent moon pack " prince Ezekiel's gaze scrutinising me. I felt my heart stopping for what looked like forever before it started beating again.

 " You have green eyes too, that is very surprising," he added with a knowing smile. I felt as if I had been poured a bucket of cold water, " did i just get caught right now" I thought to myself as i smiled nervously at them. My hands become sweaty.

 The smile on my face vanished as I could not pretend to smile anymore, this is really a tight and difficult spot for me. Aurora looked at me with disbelief. I was in utter disbelief also, how did he hear about me? I thought to herself , one thing was for sure, we had to leave right now" Prince Ezekiel," a very familiar voice called out behind us. 

 A voice I recognised too well, the voice that had brought me pain and humiliation. It was Emily!!!. 

Emily bowed to prince Ezekiel " I was wondering if you would like to have a dance with me?" She asked giggling as she used a broidered white handkerchief to stylishly cover her mouth. 

 She was literally batting her eyes at him. I quickly turned around to hide so Emily wouldn't see my face, I had Aurora turned around too.

 I was literally praying for her to leave with the prince, so we wouldn't be noticed by her, " sure I would love to dance with you" prince Ezekiel answered politely with a smile. 

 I unconsciously let out a sigh of relief " are those your friends?" She asked curiously, trying to see our faces.

Third person (POV)

 Emily was already suspicious of the men because one of them looked like Calista, she was here to confirm her suspicion.

 " won't you go and have a dance with the one you have been dying to marry? Why are you curious? Go away shoo!!" Calista cried out inwardly. " oh yes meet my friends, this is Cal and this is Aaron" prince Ezekiel introduced them happily. 

 They had no other choice but to turn around to greet her " Miss Emily" they both greeted. Aurora now looked so red like a tomato, how much did she drink, Calista wondered.

 " Do you know my name?" Emily asked, smiling but her eyes were already scrutinising them. Calista bit her lower lips, gently rubbing her fake beards, "why did I say her name" shaking her head slightly in denial. 

 "Cough cough we have heard a lot about your beauty Miss Emily, though we haven't seen you before but you are the only one who matches the description in this banquet " Calista lied without batting her eyes, Aurora quickly nodded in agreement.

 Emily giggled at her flattery, batting her eyes as she played with her hair " where are you two gentlemen from? You look so familiar " she asked. "Oh yes, I forgot to ask you where you both are from" Prince Ezekiel curiously added.
