big brother shina: reborn in the Uchiha clan

Shina groaned as his eyes fluttered open. He wasn't sure what had happened—one moment, he was reading a fantasy novel in his cozy room, and the next, everything had gone dark. When his vision cleared, he found himself staring up at a wooden ceiling.

"What... where am I?" Shina muttered.

The door slid open, and a woman with long, dark hair and kind eyes appeared, cradling a baby in her arms. "Shina, you should come meet your new baby brother," she said warmly.

Shina blinked. "Baby brother?" His voice sounded strange, higher-pitched and... younger. He glanced down at his hands and nearly screamed—they were tiny. Tiny toddler hands!

"What is happening?!" he whispered to himself, panic setting in.

But before he could spiral, the woman—his apparent mother—took his hand and guided him toward the crib. Inside was a baby with soft black hair and the unmistakable aura of someone important.

"This is your younger brother, Itachi," she said.

Shina froze. Itachi? As in Itachi Uchiha? The genius ninja who would go on to become one of the most tragic characters in Naruto?

His heart sank. Somehow, he had been reincarnated into the Uchiha clan, one of the most powerful—and most doomed—families in the ninja world.

"I'm... Itachi's brother?" Shina whispered, trying to process the absurdity of his situation.

"Yes, you're his older brother," his mother said with a smile. "And I expect you to look after him."

Shina gulped. "Look after him?" If he remembered the timeline correctly, the Uchiha clan didn't have much time left before things went downhill.

He stared at baby Itachi, who yawned and reached out a tiny hand. Shina made a silent vow. I have no idea how I'm going to do it, but I'll protect you, little brother. Whatever it takes.
