BEYOND THE BLAZE

There were some thunder sounds in the black clouds; Akirion watched it light red.

"It's time to end you and this place. Hahahaha, it's time to die, monster killer!" The Drai said, its lips widely stretched, its eyes glued to Akirion, who had his eyes stuck on the dark sky.

Suddenly, Akirion's eyes widened, and they started darting in fear. Akirion gulped; his face ran out of emotions.

Suddenly, the sky released many creatures. It rained the rain of goblins and the elves.

The goblins had their green color, carrying weapons like axes and daggers. On the other hand, the elves were more like humans, but they were colorful, and they had long, sharp ears. They had a gray skin color with silver hair. They had long nails on their fingers, leading them away from looking like the human race.

"What are those?" Akirion asked himself, his eyes filled with astonishment as he saw too much trouble.

"Meet my minions; there are too many, aren't there? Hahaha, it's time to die, loser!" The monster laughed at Akirion, who looked as if he was at the end of his rope since he had his two eyes wide open with his mouth on a choir mode.

Meanwhile, the followers were feeling sleepy of hiding behind the trashcans,in but after they heard sounds of many things falling, all of their sleepiness ran away. Their eyes raced around the place, and instantly, they saw an army of elves and goblins racing around the road.

"Wait, what was that?" Liberty asked as he saw something running in Elina's direction.

"It's like a whole army!" Anda replied after she saw more than 5 crossings.

"Yes, and it's heading for Elina!" Liberty added.

"What!" Erlin widened her eyes in astonishment as she heard her sister's name.

"Yes, Elina is over there, and Akirion is around that place," Anda said, pointing their directions. Elina was on the left, while Akirion was with the monster on the right.

"What should I do… I should help my sister really quick!"

"I don't think that's possible, Erlin!" Renn shut down her idea.

"But I should….."

Suddenly, they saw a white light from Akirion's side.

Meanwhile, on Elina's side, she was surrounded by the whole army of monsters. They closed in to her, their eyes glued on Elina, hinting at hunger.

Elina was all shaky; her eyes widened while fear filled them up, and suddenly, tears were flowing down her cheeks.

Her mind was all out, her eyes closed, while her heart thudded in her chest. Suddenly, a white light lit up from Akirion's side. All of the monsters stopped their progress and glared at the light.

Meanwhile! Akirion looked at Elina and saw that a lot of them were heading for her. Anger surrounded his body as he felt that he failed to protect a friend.

His body started to glow with the white lightning around his body. The last time it was a bit under control; this time he let it out.

'Damn yeah, if I die here, I did too. Everyone dies, so I'll be one of them!" Akirion thought, his black eyes, which were white, filled with lightning, closed slowly as he felt his magic filling his body.

'I never used this power this much, but today I'll do it, and I should avoid breaking into two since I'll be using two types of magic.' Kai thought as he mentioned the thunder magic and air to track every last one of the monsters that were summoned.

He took a deep breath and visualized the attackers. He then chanted his magic.

"THUNDER GOD!" His voice boomed and echoed all over the place as he chanted.

The Drai was left thunderstruck, as it didn't expect him to use that kind of power. Akirion's thunder god magic was shared with every monster.

He started the distribution process as he gave all the monsters their share of the thunder.

The minions perished; every touch was a finisher, and every monster shocked was set in smoke as it fell down.

All of the minions got their share, and not even one of them managed to survive.

On Elina's side, all of the fencing monsters turned black, their eyes closed, their bodies smoking.

Elina was left thunderstruck; she wasn't expecting such from Akirion, but he pulled it off.

On the followers' side, there were monsters that were next to them, ready to attack, but suddenly they got shocked to death right in front of the followers' eyes.

They were left taken aback as they got surprised by the power released.

The Drai received its shocker, but it wasn't strong since it was on a roof, so it got shocked, but it was left standing while it hardly breathed, its body smoking.

Suddenly, Akirion touched the ground with his right hand as the light in his body faded.

"Haha, so you've finished?!" The Drai laughed at Akirion, who was panting. Its mind was racing, its brows furrowed, and it said, 'This kid is really something; I should stay away. He finished my minions that were over a hundred in just a snap of a finger.'

The monster thought as it glared at Akirion.

Akirion panted while he swallowed; he felt drained, but his body was still in one piece.

'I did it. Now I should do something, but, but, my chest, my chest is burning! He thought as he took his hand from the ground and clutched his chest.

His heart was racing as he thought of a way to calm down his pain, but nothing appeared in his mind.

"Hey, I almost forgot. Didn't you say that I should get off the roof?"

"….."

"Mhh, so you are on silence mode, huh? Okay, I'm coming down!" It went down just like it said.

Akirion wasn't even listening; his eyes were widened, glaring at the ground while he endured the hot fire on his chest.

The monster jumped to the ground, and its eyes were narrowed, while its face changed as it fiercely sneered, its eyes glued to Akirion.

An orange-like aura loomed strongly over its body as it slowly approached Akirion, who had his strength depleted since he protected the surroundings.

Meanwhile, Elina's eyes widened as she saw the Drai approaching Akirion, its overwhelmingly intense aura lurking around its body.

Elina carried her shaking body up and tried to help Akirion. She used her weak water magic to shoot at the monster. She ran towards Akirion, and suddenly, the monster swiftly charged towards her, and it held her mouth and said, "shhhhhh. Elina wasn't able to talk since her mouth was closed; her eyes only released tears.
