BEYOND THE BLAZE

Chapter 90: Akirion Versus The Draemori 3

The tension got worse than before, the atmosphere got thick, getting the monster to shake in its absent boots.

Its sweat flowed down its cheek, fear whirling around it. Akirion's face was really different; he wasn't recognizable in his rage.

His eyes were lit up in rage, fire blazing in those eyeballs while his lips stretched as he widely grinned like a Cheshire cat, his footsteps stomping on the ground as he slowly moved towards the Drai.

His eyes were glaring at the monster, ready to attack, his fierce dark aura following him.

He made two swords with Earth magic mixed with water magic (he mixed it with ice).

He swiftly attacked the Drai, his eyes filled with rage as he exchanged hits with the Drai. The two exchanged hits, making the dust go up as if it were their aura.

Suddenly, Elina came out from the shadows and appeared behind Akirion, while the monster was in front of Akirion, so it was the first to spot Elina.

It realized that Akirion was overprotective of her, so it thought of a way to attack her or maybe use her as a hostage in order for him to surrender his life for Elina.

'That's a nice idea. I can do that and kill this kid before I get minced. I really got no time, and I underestimated him; now I'll have to try this.' The monster thought, its lips slowly stretching as it glared at Akirion while it defended itself from Akirion's fake swords.

Akirion swung two of his swords with so much energy that they were going to at least leave a mark on the monster. It suddenly moved backwards as it dodged the attack.

Suddenly, its grin increased, leaving Akirion astonished since he didn't know the monster's plans.

Suddenly, he rushed towards it in order to land a hit.

Instantly, the monster used all of its speed and went to Elina's side. Elina widened her eyes as she saw the Drai racing towards her. Astonishment filled her up; her heart and mind raced in fear.

Akirion realized that the Drai was heading for Elina; he then got his eyebrows furrowed, two of them closer together. Her face was filled with rage as it flashed with redness as anger befell him.

He only looked at the Drai and looked down; then suddenly, a big durra wall germinated from the ground and blocked the Drai from proceeding to Elina.

The monster hit the wall with its face, and its blood couldn't take a minute to flow down its face.

"Damn human!" The Drai growled, cursing Akirion.

.

Suddenly, Akirion disappeared and appeared in front of Elina, who had her gaze wide open as she was surprised by the wall and also the monster that was heading for her life.

"It's okay, I'll take this now!" Akirion said, his face filled with a grin that was only to lend comfort to Elina's heart.

She didn't ask about the wall; she only gave the sword without a word.

Akirion sneered, his lips stretched from ear to ear, his teeth stained with blood as he glared at the Drai that was holding its nose after a big hit.

It looked at Akirion, who released the wall and then went towards it with a fearsome speed and facial expression. His eyes continued blazing with rage as he continued to run, ready to end his rage on the Drai.

Suddenly, the monster gasped as it searched for Akirion's weapon, and suddenly, it realized a shiny weapon was on his palms, shining all the way through the air, ready to slice the monster's body and slit its throat.

"Wait, that's no longer a rock or sword; that's an actual sword. I'm in deep trouble if I'm right; I should really do something." The Drai thought, its eyes racing around Akirion. In a minute, Akirion was next to the monster, his sword ready to strike, its edges shining, pointed at the Drai.

"Hrraaaaaaaa!" Akirion screamed, his hands up, ready to move down.

Within a second, the sword was seen sparkling but with a bit of bloodstain on its end.

"Hey you fool, have you got the sword dirty?" "The Drai," it said, its voice growing.

"Who is a fool? And, you are the one who got dirty." Akirion replied with a growling voice too.

"Huh, what did I do? I'm not controlling the sword, you are?" the Drai added.

"But if you didn't let me cut you, it wasn't going to get dirty, and if you did let me behead you, it was going to be cleaner than ever!" Akirion tempted the Drai.

The two glared at each other with some scary eyes, and that got their aura angry too, since it started to get stronger by the second since the two were ready for a war.

"Woah, this sword—what is it? I can't regenerate!"

Akirion glared at the sword and checked every corner.

"This sword, it looks good, and it looks familiar too." Akirion admired the sword as some memories flashed into his head as he thought of his father's.

Meanwhile, the monster was flabbergasted, its eyes and concentration on the wound that wasn't healing.

"What did you do to me, you monster killer?" The Drai asked, its anger printed on its face as it surely changed its face.

It got serious, not only its face but also its doings.

"Now it's time to get this game to an end!" The Drai growled.

"Wait, wait, there's a mistake that you've done too!" Akirion raised his hands, stopping the Drai from waging a war.

"Huh!" Astonishment befell the Drai.

"You ruined my bathed body, so you should pay for that!"

"Then where am I appearing in your humanic bath or whatever!"

"You got me dirty and all worked up after I took a soothing bath, so it's time for you to pay."

The two got serious; Akirion didn't show his molar while the monster did the same, its fists clenched as it got ready to attack Akirion. On the other side, Akirion held the sword tight and put it in front of his chest, his left hand touching the blade. Those fingers were not really touching; they were balancing the sword as he pulled it back. He watched every side and edge slowly, and then after, he opened his eyes fast and said, "Make sure this guy won't touch you because you'll be doomed, surely!" Akirion warned as he glared at the wound that was still open but closing a bit.

"It's time to finish this." They both said the same words as they moved from the ground as they charged to the center, where they clashed, causing a big wind that blew away from the two. Akirion was aiming to slice anything in front of him, while the monster wanted to keep sending Akirion flying with one punch.

They both failed their aimed quest, and they landed on the ground and continued the fight. The fight got intense in the dark; the sounds and sparkles of a sword shone bright as they fought.

Sneers and anger were on their faces. The two continued fiercely. They made a strong clash that made them jump behind.

"Really, it's blocking my everything, really. It's time to finish this, truly. I should use my sword experience fast." Akirion said as he saw the monster blocking all of his attacks. His face increased all the rage; intimidating lines were appearing on his face as he got annoyed.

Akirion swung his sword and then put it straight in front of him; the sword shone, getting the Drai to fear. The sword was ready for the final move.

Akirion swiftly charged towards the Drai and made a strong attack that he wanted to make final. The Drai gulped and braced for impact; it watched the sword coming slowly straight to it.

Akirion's eyes flashed with rage as he landed his sword; mistakenly, the monster was in pain. It put its left arm in front of a sharp sword, thinking that he was going to block it, but its arm was seen bouncing on the ground.

"Graaaaa!" It screamed, its voice roaring more than a lion's. Akirion restored his sneer, and they got back to battle.

Akirion swung his sword again, rage filling him but a fake smile curling his lips. He then attacked the Drai, but by that time, it needed to buy itself some time. Instantly, it disappeared from the ground, and it was found on top of a roof that was short.

"Tsk, it's now planning to destroy these roofs, and the RPU soldiers will arrive anytime soon if it destroys these roofs or anything like that. If these guys call the unit, then I'll be doomed." Akirion muttered, his left hand holding the sword while the right touched his chin.

Akirion started to look electrical; his body was covered by thunder a bit. The monster was chanting a long message; the clouds made a red lightning that was flashing the ground a bit.

"It's time for you to die, so you better come down before I get there!" Akirion warned.

"Haha, you wish!" When the Drai was done chanting, its teeth were shown outside as it grinned like a Cheshire cat.

Akirion gulped after he saw its confidence; he held his brakes and looked at it.

"That confidence? It's plotting something over there." Akirion said, his sneer fading as he glared at the sky that was flashing red lights.
