Being Reincarnated with my Beast King System

Chapter 57: Reunion / Getting the Dungeon Pass

{So I would like to address some of your guy's comments. I understand that my writing still has quite of bit of errors in it and I know it has to be frustrating from a readers standpoint. I know being an avid reader as well that it can ruin a story. Sorry about that, but I will just say I have a writing class coming up that I will be taking and also just remember I am a father of four and I also work two jobs while writing this book. Not looking to give you a sob story just want you guys to give me a bit of patience please, I have never had any formal writing classes and am learning as I progress the story. Other then that have a great day and thanks for the support because I do greatly appreciate it!}

*Axel's POV*

I opened my arms as Kayla crashed into me, a sobbing mess of tears and repressed emotions. My lovers all stepped back and let the woman find her comfort in me. Something they all knew she direly needed at the moment.

I was still in shock that she would be here, this meant she had died before me...

The thought stuck me hard as I wrapped my arms around her squeezing her tightly against me so she could try and gain a semblance of peace from her tumultuous emotions at the moment.

I whispered sweet words of assurance into her ears and rubbed her back and slowly it had the desired effect. Her sobs became intermittent in between deep breaths as she calmed down. Through it all though, she never once let her grip on me lighten.

"Y-you left town... I couldn't find you anywhere for so long I looked... I followed your trail till you left the state.. I missed you so much Axel..."

Her words were soft and spoken into my chest so they were a bit muffled as well, but with my enhanced hearing I was able to pick up the words.

"I told you for months I was leaving... Besides you left first silly, I never asked you to go... When I got back from the Middle East, you were no where to be found..."

I bit my lip remembering the time I searched for her and it was like she had just disappeared of the face of the world. Her next words told me why.

"Axel... I was murdered trying to help a young lady escape from that same man you helped me get away from... When I had my back to her she hit me in the back of the head before he finished me off... I never expected for her to attack me when I was stopping him from hitting her..."

I could see the emotions flicker in her eyes as she remembered her death from the other world. I strengthened my grip slightly her body, holding her close to me again to reassure her that she wouldn't have anything bad happen again.

I had figured it was something like that, but I still didn't want to accept it. Kayla was an incredibly kind young lady and didn't deserve anything bad happening to her like that. The simple thought of it made my thoughts darken for a moment.

"Well this is all fine and dandy but once again, who the fuck do you think you are to act like this in my hall? You all killed people and you will have to p-"

"Serene, shut the hell up please... Will you stop being jealous and call the body snatchers already..."

I heard a discordant voice yell out followed quickly by the exasperated voice of Silvara making both Kayla and myself chuckle lightly as we separated from our hug. I looked over to see Silvara's hands on her hips as she was walking towards Serene. The look on her face screamed annoyance and I could only offer a silent prayer to the silly Elf for annoying Silvara.

She has changed since becoming pregnant. She is fiercer and at least ten times more protective of me and those around us. What peaked my interest though was the familiarity that Silvara spoke to the elf with. It seemed that they knew each other, at least in passing.

"Tch, whatever Sil, I haven't seen you in months and you just think you can walk in here kill people and still talk to me like that? And what is this.." Serene looked over at me before her eyes widened slightly taking in the sight of me making her bite her lower lips slightly before continuing. "Amazingly handsome man saying... Hey handsome can you and I talk somewhere in private?"

She seemed to have completely lost her train of thought after taking a good look at my appearance. I didn't even give her a second look though. I could see easily that she was a beauty that is on another level just like my lovers, but there was something about her that I just did not find as alluring as my women.

So I didn't even answer her as I turned back to Kayla.

"Kayla, by your attire I would assume that you can help me come across a Dungeon Permit or Pass. I don't know what term you all use for it, I just want to finally go Dungeon Diving."

With a beautiful smile adorning her face Kayla looked at me before parting her sexy red lips.

"I can help you with that Axel, but I have to ask why you aren't using the Dungeon Permits that are allocated to the Tempest Family Guild?"

Hearing the question Silvara stopped her twisting of Serene's waist and answered before I could.

{I hope people can understand that she was named (Serene) in elvish which would have a completely different pronunciation. It just comes out as Serene in the common tongue of the world. I will provide more information on the subject in the future.}

"We have no association to my family guild while my Father reforms it after what my sister and mother turned it into. I have been asking Axel just to create a guild so we could get permits but he insist on just forming a party."

Nodding her head while listening to Silvara's explanation Kayla seemed to have heard what she needed.

"I see, so it is the Dungeon Party Pass that you are trying to acquire. We will need to do a small assessment of your party's abilities and cultivation levels so we can accurately rate what level of clearance your party will be on."

"That isn't a problem but may I ask about the different levels of clearance and what that means?"

It was really cute to see Kayla slip into a professional mode so quickly as she answered all of my questions quickly and calmly clearly knowing her chosen profession extremely well. I smiled as I listened to her explain everything to me.

"Of course, there are a total of six different levels. They range through a color coordination system that is based on metals, starting with Iron, Copper, Bronze for the first three levels. Basically they stand for the mostly average raiding parties that wont be able to do much more then gathering materials upon request between floors 1-10. Now the second half is where the Elites start coming into play starting with the Silver Level. This level represents those that that have formed a group strong enough to make it to the 15th Floor of the Dungeon which in itself is a feat not many can do.

Likewise with the next level Being the Gold Level, these groups are strong enough to make it to the 20th Floor. These groups are also known as army crushers because they are strong enough to thwart the advancement of a small army of monster by themselves which they have to do on the lower levels that we have reached.

The next level is the Platinum Level. Each and every single member of a Platinum Level Party is considered a force of nature in the Dungeon reaping monster lives faster then most can even see. This level is mostly made up of Nascent Soul Level Cultivators that have contracted with the ADA to raid dungeons all over the continent."

I was dumbfounded at her quick and efficient words explaining everything to me in such a way that even if I had no brain at all I would still be able to understand it clearly. I was truly impressed by her, she had changed so much from the scared girl from all of those years ago.

"Thank you for the explanation Kayla, when can we go through the assessment?"

"First I would like to tell you about the Hidden Level of Dungeon Raiding Parties..." She spoke lowly concealing her voice from the eavesdropping parties close by before finishing her words. "There is another three Levels above that but I can't tell you anything more then they are rated into different gemstones instead of different metals... Anyways we can go to the assessment room now as we try to let our adventurers have a semblance of privacy so you aren't targeted by unsavory individuals in the dungeon. Remember there is no law in the dungeon..."

She spoke the last words with a finality as she gestured for our group plus the Guild Master to go through a adjacent door to where we were standing.
