Chapter 75 Wang Manman's Passion Burns Brightly
Inside the gift box lay a sparkling Bvlgari diamond necklace. A single glance was enough to tell it was immensely valuable.
Overjoyed, Yang Xintian immediately took the necklace out and put it on. Waving at Sun Dasheng's distant figure, she shouted, "Thank you for the gift, Uncle Sun! I really like it!"
The receding figure raised a hand, waved vigorously, and then vanished. Of course, the gift hadn't been specially prepared for her. In fact, Sun Dasheng always kept such branded jewelry in his luxury car, just in case he needed something in a pinch. Today, it had come in handy.
...
「The first Saturday of April.」
Sun Dasheng arrived at Wang Manman's home, carrying a teddy bear as tall as a person.
DING-DONG!
The door opened, but Sun Dasheng didn't see anyone.
"Uncle Sun, you're here?"
"Wow! What a beautiful bear! Is it for Nan Nan?"
Looking down, he realized a child had opened the door. He walked in and freed a hand to pick her up. "Nan Nan, this is a birthday gift your uncle bought for you. Happy birthday! By the way, where's your mom?"
Why isn't she home in broad daylight, leaving her child all alone? Did she go to that bar of hers? Didn't I tell her to hire a professional manager?
Before he could ponder it further, Wang Manman's voice came from outside. "Why is the door open? Nan Nan, who came over?"
Upon entering and seeing Sun Dasheng holding her daughter, she excitedly dropped the things in her hands, wanting to give him a hug. However, his teasing gaze stopped her.
Embarrassed, she picked up the bags from the floor. What's wrong with me? We haven't seen each other for just a little while, and now I'm competing with my own daughter for his affection.
"These are groceries I bought for Nan Nan's birthday celebration," she explained, composing herself. "They have her favorite caviar, which you can't get around here. I had to go all the way to the Carrefour a few kilometers away."
"I was wondering," Sun Dasheng said, placing the teddy bear and Nan Nan on the sofa to let them play together. He then took the groceries from Wang Manman's hands. "I was wondering why Nan Nan was home alone."
He headed towards the kitchen as he spoke. "If you ever have to go out on short notice and can't look after Nan Nan, you should consider hiring a nanny."
Wang Manman followed behind him. "No need. I wouldn't trust anyone else with her."
"Should I put all the groceries in the fridge?" Sun Dasheng turned to ask, then noticed her closing the door behind them. "Why are you closing the kitchen door?"
Before he knew it, she surged forward, wrapping her arms around his neck as if to devour him.
Caught between amusement and exasperation, Sun Dasheng twisted his head away. "Let me put the groceries down first. Are you that eager?"
Wang Manman's face flushed crimson. "Just leave the groceries on the counter," she stammered. "They'll all be cooked soon, so there's no need to put them in the fridge."
Maybe I was too aggressive just now and scared him. He doesn't think I'm some kind of easy woman, does he? I could just die!
After setting down the groceries, Sun Dasheng beckoned to her.
Wang Manman, still lost in her regret, didn't notice.
Sun Dasheng walked over, wrapped an arm around her slender waist, and gave her bottom a firm squeeze. Only then did she react, her face blushing.
"Brother Sun... do you think I'm a... very 'hungry' woman?"
Sun Dasheng was surprised by her question. "What's wrong with being hungry? There's nothing bad about it."
Hearing no hint of disdain in his voice, her eyes welled up with tears. "I thought you'd look down on me for being too 'hungry'. I've heard people say that 'hungry' women are more likely to cheat."
"That only applies to other men's women," Sun Dasheng said, unconcerned. "As for my woman, why would I be afraid of that?"
He then whispered in her ear, "Or are you saying I can't satisfy you?"
"Of course not!" Wang Manman blurted out.
She had never met a man more robust or more capable of satisfying a woman than the one standing before her. Whether it was her ex-husband or the men she heard her friends talk about, none of them had his prowess. Forget going strong for over an hour at a time; not every man could even last fifteen minutes.
At these thoughts, her body suddenly grew warm.
Seeing her reaction, Sun Dasheng laughed. He patted her rear, prompting her to let go.
Wang Manman looked at him, puzzled.
Sun Dasheng pointed toward the stove area. "Take off your clothes and go bend over the counter like a good girl."
Blushing, Wang Manman obediently did as she was told. She shed her restrictive clothes one by one, then brought her hands behind her back. With a practiced flick of her thumb and forefinger, her bra fluttered to the floor. At that moment, neither of them cared if it got dirty.
Wang Manman started to take off her thong, but Sun Dasheng stopped her from behind. "No need to take that off. It's not in the way."
"Bend over properly. Raise your hips higher."
Obediently, Wang Manman arched her body into an S-curve.
When she looked back, her eyes were glazed with longing. Those expressive eyes seemed to say, "Come on, come and get me!"
"Here I come!" Sun Dasheng laughed as he approached.
...
This battle was waged with the kind of resolve that would not accept anything less than total victory. The skirmish in the kitchen had barely ended before the war reignited in the bedroom, finally concluding in the bathroom.
On the bed, Sun Dasheng lay smoking a cigarette.
The bedroom door opened, and Wang Manman, dressed in a transparent nightgown, stepped in softly.
"Is the child asleep?" Sun Dasheng asked, extinguishing his cigarette.
"Yes," Wang Manman said, hurrying to the bed. She slid under the covers, hugged his arm, and leaned against his shoulder, her face radiating happiness. "She was so happy with the gift from Uncle Sun today that it took me a long time to coax her to sleep."
