Becoming a Billionaire after Divorce

Chapter 73 Romance in the Pool

The car was halfway to its destination when Tian Xiwei asked the driver to stop.

"What's wrong?" Sun Dasheng asked.

"The car my company sent to pick me up is here," Tian Xiwei said. "I'll get off now."

"Da Yong, pull over," Sun Dasheng instructed.

"What about your luggage?" Ding Muchen asked from beside her.

"Just leave it at your place for now. I'll come get it when I'm free," Tian Xiwei said with a smile, kissing Ding Muchen on the cheek. "Thanks for coming out with me, you guys. Let's get together again when we're free."

The car stopped. She stood up, said a quick "bye" to the two of them, and left.

Soon after, Ding Muchen also arrived home safely.

"Call me when you get home," she said, standing by the car door.

"Yeah, sure. Get some rest," Sun Dasheng replied. "You're going to be busy. After taking so many days off, I'm sure there's a ton of work piled up at school."

"I will, bye-bye!"

"Bye-bye!"

"President Sun, where to next?" the driver, Da Yong, asked.

Sun Dasheng checked his watch. Seeing that it was still early, he told Da Yong, "To the company."

"Right away, President Sun."

The car headed smoothly toward the office. Looking out the window at the towering buildings lining the street, Sun Dasheng felt a sense of familiarity.

Before long, the car pulled up to the company building. After gallivanting around for so long, a mountain of documents requiring his personal signature had accumulated. By the time he finished signing them all, his wrist was already sore.

It's time for a workout.

He drove to the new branch of his gym, a five-story fitness center. The receptionist, a young woman named Xiao Mei, saw him arrive and quietly sent a text message.

Then, she approached him with a smile. "Director Sun, you found the time to come by."

"Just go back to what you were doing. Don't mind me."

Sun Dasheng waved her off and headed for the second floor. He had just started warming up on the treadmill when someone sneakily appeared beside him.

"What are you doing here? Oh, Xiao Mei must have told you." He took the towel she offered and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"If Xiao Mei hadn't told me, I wouldn't have even known you were back," Xiang Yiren said, her voice thick with reproach.

"I came straight here after getting off the plane. What are you still mad about?" He tossed the towel onto the treadmill, walked over, and pulled her into his arms, pinching her pouting cheek.

The tactic never failed; Xiang Yiren's mood instantly brightened. What women cared about most was their place in a man's heart. The more he valued them, the happier they became. His claim of coming to her immediately after landing meant she was in his top tier.

"Did you eat after you landed?" Xiang Yiren asked.

"Haven't had the chance yet," Sun Dasheng said.

"Then come with me. The takeout I ordered just arrived, and I haven't eaten yet. You can have a bite first, and tonight, a few of the girls and I will cook you a feast."

Xiang Yiren pulled Sun Dasheng up to the third-floor office.

"Where's the food?" Sun Dasheng asked, looking around the empty room.

Xiang Yiren, however, had already stripped off all her clothes and was pouncing on him. "You idiot, of course you're eating me first!"

He tickled her armpits, making her laugh uncontrollably.

"Stop tickling!" she gasped between laughs. "I really did order food, I wasn't lying. It's on the way. By the time you're done eating me, it'll probably have arrived."

Sun Dasheng picked her up and swatted her bottom. "Do you have so little faith in my stamina? Since when do I only last as long as a takeout delivery?"

Instead of crying out, Xiang Yiren just chuckled as he spanked her. "You've got me all wrong! I ordered Peking duck from a place on the outer ring road. It's over ten kilometers from here, so the delivery will take more than an hour."

"That's more like it."

"So, can you enjoy this delicacy now?"

Sun Dasheng looked down. In his arms, Xiang Yiren's eyes were already hazy with desire.

He reached down for a touch. "Already this flooded after just a few days apart?"

"You're terrible," Xiang Yiren murmured as she started to undress him. "You always love to tease me."

While watching her skillful hands at work, Sun Dasheng said, "What would you ever do without me?"

Xiang Yiren's hands suddenly froze. She looked up at him with a serious expression and said, "Jinx! Don't say something so unlucky."

"Hurry! Say it back!"

Seeing how insistent she was, Sun Dasheng chuckled at her superstition. But then, thinking about the system he possessed, he figured he had to believe in such things a little. He humored her and muttered, "Jinx, jinx."

Only then did Xiang Yiren beam. "There. Now what you said doesn't count."

She immediately resumed her task.

"Sun Dasheng, have you been sunbathing at the beach this whole time?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Look." She placed her hand next to his. The difference in skin tone was stark.

"You're right, I did get a lot tanner," Sun Dasheng nodded. "The UV rays at the coast must be intense."

"In that case, I don't think I'll be going there," Xiang Yiren said. She had been thinking about following in his footsteps and visiting.

Then, her hands started to wander.

"What are you doing?" Sun Dasheng asked.

"Hehe, I'm just checking to see if you got tanned *down there*, too," Xiang Yiren giggled playfully.

"Feeling rebellious, are you? I'll teach you some respect!"

Xiang Yiren met his challenge, but her verbal bravado was short-lived. In the end, just like always, she was the one kneeling and begging for mercy.

After helping him get dressed, Xiang Yiren said with a sly smile, "Looks like you didn't fool around too much while you were away."

"And how would you know?" Sun Dasheng asked, lounging on the sofa like a king while she waited on him.

She snuggled up beside him. "Of course I know. You're a beast in bed, but even so, I can tell when your stamina has taken a hit from fooling around."
