Chapter 91: Chapter : 91 : Leaving The Kingdom!
The road was filled with the cheers of goblins. The roof seemed to heave and sway as it was filled with people, just to see their hero.
"Sir! Please look here." The goblin females shouted toward him, trying to get his attention.
"Sir, here!"
"Sir, look at me!"
Aiden waved his hand toward him, smiling nervously.
"Nhhh!" The goblin females shouted in unison.
"He waved toward me!'
"No, he waved toward me."
"No me!"
They started fighting among themselves.
Back in the carriage.
"Ohh..." Nyxion mused, "Heartlord is famous."
"Pervert," Vegia murmured.
"He is still ours." Luna made it clear.
Thristle giggled, "It's not just that they are looking at him. They're looking at us, too. I mean... Mostly the men. But they don't dare to say it out loud due to My King."
Aiden scratched the back of his head nervously.
He felt a sudden, horrible presence beside him.
Lysandra's vein popped on her forehead. Leona was giggling toward the crowd, looked up from her lap, toward her.
Instantly, Leona flinched. Her face filled with horror.
Her hair flying in waves comically, representing her anger.
"Daddy! Take me! Take me!" Leona called out to Aiden.
"Mummy, scary!"
"Upp!" He took her in his lap.
"Yeah!" Leona shouted in excitement.
Sitting on his lap, Leona sighed, wiping her forehead.
"Daddy... Why, mummy, look angry?" Leona asked, as she looked toward her mummy.
"Well, she is—"
Before he could finish his sentence, Lysandra turned her head toward him, looking at him with a vicious look on her face.
"Yo... Ly... Calm down."
Lysandra looked toward the goblin girls again. Her gaze made them freeze up in fear.
"Shameless." Lysandra muttered.
Luna leaned toward Aiden, whispering something in his ear.
Leona and the other frowned.
"What did she say?" Ivy asked Fluffynugget.
"Mii~" Which could mean anything from 'I know' to 'Just ask someone else.'
Aiden sighed, then turned his head toward Lysandra. Slowly, he leaned in, planting a kiss on her green cheek.
Instantly, Lysandra froze. Then turned her head comically toward him; her face was a blushing mess.
Leona giggled, "Mummy is all red."
"Leona... Shut up." Lysandra asked, blushing.
"Ly... Calmdown. You're the one I choose to get married, not them." Aiden said, sincerely.
Everyone smiled toward him.
"Y-yeah. I guess you're right." She replied softly.
Then, turning toward the goblin girls, who were still murmuring about the earlier kiss and wishing they could have been her, instead of Lysandra.
Lysandra smiled at them. A cold, fake smile, which said, 'Die!'
A chill ran down their spine as they looked at her smile.
Then she, "Pftt..." Then burst out laughing.
Everyone joined in.
As the carriage moved through the street, they saw the same mother and daughter from the market.
Then they saw them.
Adrish, carrying Throk on his shoulder, leaping through the roofs. Aurora following them with Eline in her arms, flying.
"What are they doing here?" Lysandra asked, surprised.
---
"Eli-Chan... I forgot to give this to Onee-Chan." Throk said to Eline, looking at the two wooden tokens with their names on them.
One had the name of Lysandra engraved on it, and the other had Throk on it.
"Seriously... How could you forget such an important thing?" Eline asked, furious
"What should I do. They are very far by now." Throk asked, clutching his head.
Then he thought of something and ran. Eline called and started running, following him.
"So restless all the time."
"Adrish!" Throk called, running toward him and Aurora.
They turned to look at him.
As he reached them, he rested his hands on his knees, huffing.
"What happened, Young Lord?" Aurora asked.
"I forgot to give..." He said, breathless, extending his hand toward them, showing them the wooden tokens in his hand, "...this to her."
Eline reached him, "There you are." She said breathlessly, resting her hands on her knees like him, huffing.
Adrish and Aurora looked at the tokens in his hand and smiled toward each other.
"Don't worry. Here we go." He said proudly, then suddenly, took Throk of his feet, placing him on his shoulder, and ran.
"Not again!" Eline shouted.
"Say... Wanna chase after them?" Aurora asked Eline.
"Yeah!" Eline replied excitedly.
Suddenly, Aurora scooped her up in her arms and used her magic to fly.
"Eh?" Eline muttered, holding to her.
"Here we go!" Aurora smirked.
---
"Yaaa!" Throk shouted in excitement as Adrish skippied through roofs.
"Young Lord. Hold tight." Adrish asked, smirking.
"Those two sure have too much energy," Eline said from Aurora's arm.
"Seems like it," Aurora replied.
"The streets are crowded!" Throk shouted, the wind pushing his hair back.
"Why won't it be. It's the farewell of our hero and the kingdom's princess." Adrish replied, smiling proudly.
"Hmm!" Throk nooded.
Behind them.
"What a coincidence," Aurora said.
"What?" Eline asked, confused.
"Oh..." Aurora teased.
"Stop trolling me. Explain." Eline demanded.
"Oh, it's nothing. Just thinking the man we love is both so similar." Aurora said casually.
"H-huh? L-love?" Eline stuttered, blushing, cupping her cheeks.
"You don't have to hide it from me, you know," Aurora said.
Eline looked toward Throk, smiling.
"That day when Th-Kun told me he always wanted to be together with me, it made me really happy," Eline confessed, blushing with a smile.
"Mmm..."
Then Eline asked, "Ma'am... Who confessed first?"
"Huh?" Aurora stopped for a breath before moving forward, blushing.
"I asked who confessed first. Sir Adrish Zenith or you?"
"It's..." Aurora's face burned, trembling, "...was him. He... Confessed to me."
"Eh? But I thought..." Eline said, stopping mid sentence, looking toward Throk.
"Ma'am, do you think Th-Kun will confess to me, too?" Eline asked, voice filled with hope.
Aurora looked down at her, then smiled, "I just don't think. He will. Just give him time. You both are just twelve."
"Okay."
"Their!" Throk shouted, pointing toward the carriage.
Adrish looked toward the carriage. Then smirked.
"Hold tight!"
"Huh?" He said.
Then Adrish jumped toward the carriage. Then Throk cried, "Ahhhhh!"
He landed on the carriage with a thud. The crowd gasps in surprise.
"Look! It's general Zenith and Young Lord."
The crowd shouted.
"What are you doing here?" Lysandra and Arisha asked, surprised, standing up from their seats.
Adrish crouched, helping Throk to get off his shoulder.
Lysandra walked toward Throk, and Arisha walked toward Adrish.
"Throk... Did you forget something?"
"Here!" Throk extended his toward her, holding the wooden tokens with her name on them.
Lysandra looked at it, her mouth opened, then closed, then opened, and smiled.
Lysandra took the token from his hand, looking at it intently.
"I have mine with me. We have a matching pair now." Throk said, with a wide smile.
Lysandra held the token close to her heart.
Then she reached out to hug him, stuffing his face on her boobs.
"Thank you, Throk. Thank you. I will always keep it safe." Lysandra said, tears falling freely.
Aurora landed with Eline and helped her to stand on her feet. Then they bowed toward all of them.
Throk blushed, getting hugged and his face stuffed in front of the whole city.
"Onee-Chan let go. You're embarrassing me."
But Lysandra didn't listen. If anything, she hugged him even tighter, pressing his face deeper into her boobs.
Finally, she let goof Throk.
Aiden and the other smiled.
"Throk," Aiden called.
"Yes?"
"Glad to have a Brother-in-law like you," Aiden said with a smile.
"This is goodbye for real then," Arisha said to Adrish.
"I will miss you," Adrish said softly.
Suddenly, Arisha hugged him.
Adrish sighed, hugging him back.
---
Throk was now on Adrish's shoulder again. Eline was in Aurora's arms again.
They turned, waved their hands toward them, "Goodbye. Let's meet again someday."
Aiden and the group said in unison, "Goodbye. We'll meet again!"
"Mii~"
"Uncle... Bye," Leona waved her hand, sad.
"And they left," Lysandra said softly, getting back on her seat, resting her head on Aiden's shoulder.
"Don't worry. They'll be fine." Aiden said, resting his hand on her.
"Mmm... Remember how much I am sacrificing for you. So you better take care of me." Lysandra warned.
"Me too." Arisha joined in.
Luna took Arisha's hand, "Take my seat."
"Huh?"
But before she could question, Luna made her sit beside Aiden, and she took her seat.
"You're welcome," Luna said, smiling.
Arisha blushed, "Hmm..."
Slowly, Arisha leaned in toward Aiden, resting her head on his shoulder, "Warm."
"Okay... Let's enjoy the fame now. Too much emotional stuff. Sober up, girls." Aiden said with his usual teasing smile.
The group laughed.
---
They got off the open carriage.
"Sir... This way." A goblin shoulder said, bowing toward them.
They walked toward the entrance.
The soldiers in charge said.
"Unhane!"
Slowly, the door of the cave started opening up.
*Whenever I look at it. I always remember the stories from my world." Aiden thought.
The group walked through the cave, but this time they weren't restrained. This time, they had their head held high. They had respect.
"Daddy... It's so dark in here." Leona whispered to Aiden.
"Don't worry, my dear. Daddy will save you from the shadows." Aiden replied lovingly.
"Thank you, daddy." Leona smiled toward him.
The group smiled at them.
Then—
The group looked toward a sudden light source, illuminating the cave.
It was Nyxion. Her body was shining in the dark, giving her a surreal look.
"Nyxion... You look... Gorgeous." Luna cried.
The soldiers were dumbfounded.
"Umm... Our species does glow in the dark." Nyxion explained, scratching the back of her head nervously.
"You do look gorgeous." Aiden reapated.
Nyxion blushed, "T-thank you, Heartlord."
"Wow! Ny-Mummy is glowing," Leona said excitedly.
Vegia, Thristle, and Arisha looked at Nyxion intently.
"Sir... Can we go now?" The soldier in charge asked, though he looked surprised.
"Yeah."
Then they left he cave.
Outside the cave, it was the same forest. The trees were big, long, and thick, going on forever. The dense leaves made it impossible for the sunlight to seep into the forest. Still... It was bright enough to look around.
"Sir..." The soldiers in charge called.
Aiden looked toward him.
"We have arranged a ride for you." He said, moving out of the side to reveal the big carriage, intricate design, and big enough for everyone.
Thristle whistled.
"So... How far is the driver going to take us?" Aiden asked.
"Sir, you don't have to worry about that. The drive will be your personal one and will be with you all the time through your journey." The soldier in charge explained.
"And the driver is okay with that?" Aiden asked.
"Y-yes, Sir. We have all the paperwork done. Here, we have the contract." He said, handing him the contract.
He took the roll of paper.
He opened the knot, unrolled it, and before he could read it, a female voice called out.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Hero." A female said, bending at the waist with a wide grin. One eye closed, winking, and the other open, with her finger doing a V in front of it.
