Chapter 16: Rex's twin
Leaving Angela alone in their home, Rex considers it to be the most arduous pant decision he has ever made.
With the female only inches away, and appearing receptive too, Rex's third leg had stretched in width, excitedly throbbing in anticipation, waiting to be immersed into Angela's warmth.
It took a lot of concentration to walk back to where his car was parked against the idea of slowly devouring every inch of Angela's body, the way it had begged for his touch.
Being a man of high morals and quite understanding of the female's innate loving demeanor, Rex sensed bending Angela over to socket his pole could appear encouraging to the naive assistant, tomorrow.
The least trouble to call into his work environment would be to project a moment of interest, only to have Angela perceive the spur as a welcoming sign to advance into a relationship.
But, to think that he, the CEO just temporarily forgot about the company policy that prohibits the sort of thoughts his third legs were propelling him toward?
Rex grits his teeth, annoyed with himself for even imagining to bed Angela anew, against his principle of never having sex with a lady not more than the first time he meets them.
Keying in his car's ignition, he briefly pictured his twin laughing at him, for finally giving into a new policy with a lady.
Of course, Roy would have exaggerated the situation. Words like brother, you're slack-whipped and in love with the assistant, come to Rex's mind. Luckily, Roy wasn't around, in fact, he hasn't been for some years now.
Feeling horny and also sad from missing his twin, Rex reached for his car remote, a second urge, however, surged through him.
Discarding the car's hand-free control, to the very seat next to his, Rex rolled the sleeves of his shirt, ready to drive himself instead.
He intends to speed past the surprising discovery that's today, urging him to give Angela another day, spent freaking like a rabbit.
Jeez, she's inhabiting my thoughts. Rex concludes.
Now, bringing his hand to stroke his beard, the energetic, goal-oriented male reckons just how much he couldn't understand his growing attentiveness toward Angela.
Skipping work to attend to her, visiting her home late at night yesterday? Wait a minute, why does this pattern appear familiar? He inwardly asked.
Nope, I have to be weary, he convinced himself instead. Still, there was something about how he reacted to Angela he couldn't place his understanding on.
But, like in picture learning, the recognition of his perceptiveness comes to jab an undeniable realization.
She makes him conscious of his reflection.
At that moment, Rex felt an inner calm, finally influencing his train of ideas.
Still, and due to experience, he gets torn between battling each of the elements rooting to dominate the reason for his growing closeness toward his assistant.
Indeed, driving himself will aid in exercising the fog, urging him to go back to Angela's home.
Reversing his thoughts to not think about Angela any further, he pulls Zebra out, stepping on its accelerator, the powerful machine jerks to life, vibrating proudly ready to show the essence of its high cost.
An object, however, falls to the ground, making a light startling sound.
Rex pulls over, looking toward the source of the noise, he discovers Zebra’s vibration has floored the remote panel to the car's foot-mat.
Still, something else caught his intrigue. Angela's handbag sat at the front of the passenger seat.
He recalled placing it there before coming to slide next to her at the back of the car.
Rex considers turning to return it to the female.
On a second consideration, after recollecting the determination he had to assume to walk away from the girly beckoning bedroom, Rex sighed. He picked up the leather, carefully placing it to rest, rather toward the rear seat.
Angela's bag can linger until tomorrow.
His phone rings next. Rex cursed. He had been quite immersed to the extent of forgetting to officially cancel his 7 a.m. meeting.
Staring at his wrist, he finds time long past schedule. Relieved to know that there would be a rescheduling, he casually clicked on the accept option.
The caller's identity was unknown, Rex frowned but picked up anyway.
However, answering even as he drives, he discovers Roy, his twin, to be the one calling. His brother's voice had a slight resemblance to his tone, while still retaining a distinctive larynx.
Still, what a coincidence, that Roy chose to call at the same hour he remembered him.
Despite not having seen each other in three years now, it's been months long since they last spoke on the phone with one another. Rex smiles, imagining the reaction that would play on Angela's face when she meets his other version.
“You old doll, are you on the phone or have I lost you to the bad network?”
“Roy? I'm only a minute older than you, and yes, I'm on the line, my thoughts were just distracted.”
“Toward a female?” Rex's twin asked.
“Why would you assume that?”
“You couldn't possibly be thinking about me.”
“And, what if the thought of you had crossed my mind?”
“Then I must meet this female. What's her name, by the way?”
“Forget you, Roy.”
“Oh, so it's indeed about a lady.”
“What's the motive behind your call?”
“Do I need one, to call on my blood?”
“Roy? Don't play the emotional blackmail.”
“Fine… Um, how fast can you act as my chauffeur?”
“You're not in the country, are you?”
“Well, I am, now.”
“How about boarding a taxi instead?”
“And miss riding with my twin?”
“Roy, I'm on my way to the office right away.”
“I could buy a car from the airport, but a female slack may need the money more tonight.”
“Promise to keep your style away from doing it inside my car with your friends, and I may consider coming to pick you up.”
“Deal. I will be at the waiting hall.”
Roy's in town, my brother is around? Rex asked himself anew. Now, despite the tough front he put up with Roy, a smile still tugged at the corners of Rex's lips.
Although he's been appearing calm, Rex looked forward to analyzing his growing enthusiasm toward his assistant with his twin.
Fifteen minutes afterward, he stood watching his brother casually walking toward him, exhibiting the aura of a confident male. It often does not happen, but their mother made it possible. She gave birth to a set of identical alpha’s.
“There goes the latest bachelor in love, look at you looking like me.”
Roy said, extending his hand to hug his brother fiercely, allowing him to feel the warmth of his affection through the gesture.
“Myself in love? You must be getting delusional, Roy.”
“You wouldn't be entertaining the idea of conforming to a single slack if we're not sewing our suits any time sooner, and…you've changed too.”
“Evolved? I'm still me.”
“No, there's something about you now. You look a lot more calm.”
“Well, let's load up your luggage before you start analyzing my demeanor even further.”
“I'm being serious. You have to let me meet her. But first, can we find our way to a nice house?”
“Why?”
“So I can ease my third leg out.”
“Roy, you just arrived, I have not even shown you to your room”
“But my pole is loaded, my limbs are also jet-lagged and terribly in need of a brunette’s caress.”
“Roy, apart from being a penny's man, is there any other thing we could grab before heading home?”
“Food?”
“Fine, let's get you to a restaurant then.”
“That I can manage. But I tell you what, those species are gorgeously beautiful, I don't see myself settling with a penny.”
“You may one day meet one that drives you insane, not like I admit having found the same in Angela.”
“That's her name?”
“Just quit with the questions.”
“Ouch, no wonder you got whipped. Now, I will have to visit that tailor's workplace tomorrow, for a suit.” Roy replied, bending to help his twin with the luggage, but not like he stopped querying Rex about the lady of his interest.
