Chapter 45 : Nash and Bella (2)
"You are moving out? How?"
Bella was shocked to hear this from Nash since it was not in the list of things she would have considered as a suggestion from him.
Nash nodded. "It's a long story but I will tell you when I have it all figured out."
"Anyways, I didn't mean you should stay with me in a room though. I found a house that has a spare room. So if you want to, you can talk to the landlady and see if you can move in."
Bella pressed her chin with a finger as if thinking about it.
"Forget about it, if you don't want to though."
"If you say it's good, then I can trust you," Bella said. "I will move in. I don't really know jack shit about houses, so I will rely on you."
Nash smiled. He was happy that she agreed.
Now, he would be able to see her everyday and even make their relationship better than it was in his previous life.
"I've missed talking to you though," Nash said out of the blue, creating a short moment of silence.
Bella smiled back at him and nodded her head.
"Me too," she replied. "I thought you wouldn't want to have anything to do with me again after the fight with Zebadiah. For as much as I wanted to talk to you for so long, I had to keep my cool, so I don't feel like a pest."
Nash could only smile and shake his head in denial of all of her assumptions about the entire thing.
Nash and Bella spoke at light, rekindling the spark of their friendship and finally decided to go and see the house together.
Nash already told her everything she needed to know, including the rent and Bella did not even bat an eyelid about the price.
She even felt that it was cheaper and affordable, and this undoubtedly demonstrated the fact that she was from a wealthy home.
Afterwards, they both took a cab and went to the house for Bella to do her inspection of the place.
She was satisfied with what she saw, considering that she heard otherwise about places like this.
Bella thought it would be an unhygienic environment but this particular house proved her wrong.
The house was clean and tidy, with different kinds of home appliances that also added to the comfort it offered.
"I like this place. Seems I will stay," Bella said cheerfully, almost jumping for joy.
Nash stood behind her, his hands in his pockets as he smiled while watching her admire the place even more.
She looked at Nash. "I really like it here."
"I told you so."
They both laughed.
"You did actually," Bella replied, "but my heart is beating very fast. It's my first time running away from home and it feels… exciting."
Bella was starting to enjoy the happiness that comes with freedom.

As if to thank him for his help, Bella dragged Nash to go shopping with her.
"You will be my valet for today," Bella teased Nash after raising the idea for them to go shopping.
Reluctant at first, claiming that it was not his thing, Nash finally agreed to escort the young lady.
Bella bought a lot of bags and she was not conscious about withholding money so she doesn't spend too much.
Bella bought practically everything that caught her eyes.
Bags were filled to the brim and Nash had no choice but to play the gentleman to help her carry them.
He was covered all over with bags of different sizes.
"Thank you," Bella expressed her gratitude, her voice soft and charming as she repeatedly clapped her hands and made cute faces at Nash.
Nash did not mind. In fact, he felt squishy inside from just offering Bella this small assistance.
Nash was fine as long as he will be able to make her like him as much as he does her.
As they walked to the counter for payment, Bella glanced at Nash.
"Do you play that game too?" Bella asked, "Umm… Apex Online. Yes! That's the one."
Nash nodded in affirmation.
"Is it really as good as they say?" she further inquired.
"Easily the best game I've played," Nash hyped up the virtual reality game. "You want to play? I can put you through the necessary things you will need to know."
"I've always wanted to but I don't know how."
Nash saw his moment to shine and started yapping everything he knew about gaming.
"...don't worry, I will help you out but you have to get the gaming gear first."
"Oh? Can we get it today?"
Nash nodded. "Yes."

(Outside of an electronic store)
Nash escorted Bella to get the head gear for Apex Online.
The store attendant couldn't help but give Nash weird looks.
It was as if he was wondering how Nash managed to pull a beautiful girl like Bella to make him his girlfriend when she looks way out of his league.
It was plain envy but Nash did not care about that.
From how the store attendant saw it, Nash was a poor, broke guy, who clearly looked like his problems and Bella was a classy, elegant young lady.
The two of them were worlds apart from each other.
Bella paid cash for the head gear, not that Nash was surprised by this. Money has never been one of Bella's problems in life.
The attendant packaged the head gear and handed it over to them.
"Thank you for your patronage, beautiful lady."
Nash shook his head, almost putting his palm to his face in disappointment at how this young attendant could behave the way he did.
His compliment was clearly not cordial but more flirty, like he was trying to set up the atmosphere to woo Bella.
Bella simply smiled at him and turned around to leave as Nash followed.
The two boarded a taxi once more and Nash was dropped off before Bella continued on her way home.
Nash laid on his bed for a moment, reminiscing and enjoying the memories he made with Bella today before taking his head gear and putting it on.
