Ascension of the Monster Queen

Nessa looked up at the night sky and her eyes narrowed as the stars reflected in her glossy eyes and a few thoughts about what had been going on lately came to her mind and she exhaled deeply, for a lot of it was bothering her more.

'I just wanted to clear my mind, for once but I can't seem to remain calm, I am getting worked up again, aren't I?' She wondered.

[You have to take the most important step forward as yet, also once the dragon is out of you, you have to be careful, more energy will be built up, your own, some which were suppressed because of him.]

"I get it, I will be careful, I felt the suppressed energy before, it's stronger than it was before, it has something to do with me getting stronger, I will handle it when the dragon is out, just a little while longer," She mumbled before closing her eyes.

The girl dove down in the water and her eyes began glowing as well as other parts of her body, the coldness the water gave off, made her entire body relax as well as her mind then she came back up.

The girl stood up and at the same time, she sensed a strong gaze on her and when she turned around, she saw the demon, standing on one of the rocks and her eyes widened as her hair fell on her body.

'You.." She mumbled as she was about to move and her feet slipped.

The demon appeared in the water, just behind her and grabbed onto her waist, pulling her towards him and her eyes widened as his body pressed against hers.

"Serisouly?" She asked as she looked up at him and his eyes narrowed with a piercing look in them.

The girl's eyes narrowed when she saw a slight smile on his face as the water that came from her hair fell splattered on him, due to how hard he pulled her towards him.

"You can smile..." She mumbled as she stared at him, while the water dripped down his face and his eyes narrowed.

"Be careful, you might have powers but that doesn't mean normal accidents cannot happen," He said as he moved his hand a little upwards on her back.

The girl flinched, after feeling the warmth from his hand and she lowered her gaze, while he looked at her and she closed her eyes then exhaled deeply.

'What the hell does he think he is- She thought, when she felt his warm finger, passing on her face as he moved the strands on her before her eyes, behind her ear.

'She is much prettier than she looks,' He thought as he looked at the imprinted clothes on her body, which showed all her curves and a smirk appeared on his face.

"Well, this is a new development, I never thought I would ever get to see you like this, you are amazing," He said and her cheeks felt warm as she turned her back on him.

"Turn away, please, you are invading my space," She replied and his brows furrowed then he looked at her.

He got closer to her, so close that she could feel his warm breath, passing by her neck and she squeezed her hand, feeling a little bit different.

"What if I want to invade your personal space?" He asked and she gasped as she turned around to look at him and he scoffed.

'Get back here now, please, what are you thinking?' A voice echoed in the demon's ear and a smirk appeared on his face as he leaned in closer to the girl.

"If you are still thinking about what happened, you have to find a way to deal with it, as a leader, it will happen more often than you think, you have to be mentally strong and prepared for such things as well, it's not easy to you, I know that, that's why come up with a good solution, one to put your mind at ease, nothing will come from stressing like that," He said.

"Why are you being nice?" She asked as he was about touch her face and he stopped moving immediately then lowered his hand.

"Nice, huh?" He asked as she held onto her head and he glanced at her.

"You good?" He asked.

"Can you take me back? I want to sleep," She responded and he smiled at her before patting her on her head and she chuckled.

"You are not the affectioate type, are you?" She asked as she looked up at him and he shrugged but she could tell from how cold the demon would usually be.

"Please just get back here, you have a mess to clean up," The person said to him and it turned out, it was his demon friend who would frequently visit him and was afraid of Nessa, but he just ignored him.

The demon lifted her up in his arm and she gasped as she wrapped her hands around him and he glanced at her then scoffed before leaving the water with her.

"You shouldn't do this so late, you are going to get sick," He said then disappeared.

A few minutes after, the demon appeared in her room and she looked around before sighing and he placed her down before looking at his wet clothes.

"Go dry off and change, I will as well," She said as she looked at him with her eyes narrowed.

"Here," She said as she threw him some clothes and he caught it, realizing that they were men clothing and she looked at her.

"I will go change," She added then went to change in her night gown and he changed while she was in the bathroom as well.

When both of them were finished, the girl approached him then handed him a blanket and pillow before pointing to the couch in her room and she switched off the lights.

"You want me to sleep here?" He asked.

"It's not like you are sleeping with me so it's fine, unless you want something else?" She asked as she looked at him with a smile and he scoffed.

"You are quite something else, bold as well, good night," He responded as he went to sleep on the couch and she chuckled then got into bed.

"Thank you, demon, I feel better," She said, as she closed her eyes and he looked at her.

"Sweet dreams, I guess..." He mumbled as his eyes glowed and a gentle smile appeared on her as she fell asleep, for she was tired and needed to rest.
