NOVEL NEXT Chapter 2: Spending a day at Satoru's mansion:
The night was stressful for you. Once you return home, you throw your handbag aside and you collapse onto the bed. You look at the ceiling thinking about how your future with Satoru would go. Then your Mother comes to your bedroom to scold you. "I thought we talked about how you'll behave and act when we meet our In-Laws? But you succeeded in embarrassing me." You take a deep breath and you let out a long sigh. You sit up the bed looking at your Mother. "I think arranged marriage is illegal if one doesn't like it. I mean... Forced marriage is illegal." Your Mother keeps up with the glare. "Don't you know that I'm doing this for your own good? For your own future!?" She raised her voice, but she takes a deep breath and calms down. "You have no idea how many kids, girls like you, and even older women like me who are dying to get with the Gojo Clan! You have no idea how blessed and lucky you are for being Satoru's." You look away after your Mother said that. You feel like crying because of how annoyed you are by this. Your Mother sighs. "Really now? Getting all dramatic again?" She asks. Then you speak up saying "Just like Satoru said he never asked for this, neither did I? I hate this, Mom. I really do. You know what? Fuck him." Your Mother raises her voice and tells you to shut up. "Never say that again to Satoru Gojo! Oh, my my. How could you even? That handsome young man with such silky and soft hair that's whiter than snow. The ocean blue heavenly eyes. A man that I've chosen for you so that you could be in paradise!" Your Mother praises about him to you and at that point, you just gave up. You stay all quiet until she just leaves your bedroom after yapping about him and making him seem so nice. You were so tired and angry.
A week later, your Mother suddenly wakes you up. "Wake up, wake up! Wakey wakey!!!" And you quickly wake up all confused and scared. "What? What, Mom? What's wrong?" Your Mother laughs out of excitement. "It's nothing~ But get dressed up! I'm dropping you off at Satoru's house." For some reason, you blush and your eyes widen a little. At the same time, you start to feel uncomfortable. "Drop me off at his house? Why?" Your Mother puts on a proud expression. "His Father has a busy day at work, and I'm going shopping with his Mother AKA MY SOON-TO-BE SISTER-IN-LAW!!!" Your Mother is so excited about it. "And what about me?" You ask. "What do you mean what about you, Sweetie? You'll have the whole day to be alone with your Satoru Gojo~ Hehe, now go put on a cute dress." Your Mother says and leaves your bedroom as she was dancing. Then your face becomes red and you sigh. But eventually, you just get off the bed and opens your closet to look for a dress to put on so that you could go to Satoru Gojo's house.
After your Mother gets all dressed up fancy and pretty, she goes up to your bedroom to check if you're ready. You were brushing your hair when your Mother opened the door to see you in straight leg blue jeans and a black t-shirt. "Ah, ew! Sweetie, what are you wearing? Trying to embarrass me again!?" She asks dramatically. You respond saying that it's a good outfit and you like it. "Doesn't matter what you like. You're going to disappoint your future Husband. Change it. Now." She says in a stern tone. You just stare at her annoyed. "Let me get you dressed myself then." Your Mother says and opens your closet.
After a few minutes of looking for the best dress in your wardrobe, she puts a sleeveless white baby doll dress on you. She then puts some light makeup on you and a white lariat necklace around your neck. "So pretty! Just like a Princess." Says your Mother admiring your beauty proudly. It disappoints you and makes you uncomfortable since you're going to be alone with Satoru. Your Mother looks at you with a gentle expression acting as if she understands you. "Honey, I know you're not into him. But give him a chance. Only time can tell. And who knows? Maybe sooner or later, you'll learn to love him." Says your Mother. So you decide to be a little more confident and take her advice.
And later, she drops you off at Satoru's house... Or maybe let's take the fact that it's a mansion. Satoru's Mother invites you in before leaving with your Mother to go shopping.
"Aha. My soon-to-be future Wife is here." Satoru says as he was coming down the stairs. He seemed a little sarcastic. You just stay there standing behind the door watching him come down. "Come here, kitten. Let's sit and talk."
You give him a weird look after he calls you kitten. "Why? You don't like that?" He asks you. "Um... It's just a little weird to me." You respond. "Why? I heard you like cats though~" He teases. "Yeah, but nobody really talks in such ways like calling someone you barely know kitten." You confidentially say to him. "What if I do? Cause I do. In fact, you're not the first to be called 'Kitten' by me."
You don't respond to him, but you suspect him. You just look away. "At least come take a seat. I'll get you something to drink." He stands up and goes to the kitchen. You close your eyes, you take a deep breath to calm down and then you go over to the couch. You take a seat and he comes back with two drinks. "I heard you liked soft drinks. Like mango, pear, and even milkshakes." He says handing over a glass of mango juice. "Well, yeah. I just don't really enjoy sodies that much." You hold the glass of mango juice. "And I heard you love peonies as well." He says looking into your eyes with an attractive smile. "You're right." You blush. "I also heard that you like soft colors. Pastel colors?" Satoru asks while turning his body towards you and resting his head on his fist. Your heart starts to race. You get curious on how he knows about you. "Yes." You agree with him. "And your favorite color is soft or baby pink. Right?" He asks and you blush even more. You look at him asking from where he learned all that about you. He admits that he was curious about you so that he had a chat with your Mother. You smile a bit. You fail to hide your smile. "I see."
"Oh, look who's blushing." Satoru says with a smirk. "Well, I just never had anyone curious about me before." You admit. "Well, how come? I'm pretty sure many guys tried to get to you. I mean, look at you. Looking so innocent and pretty. Like an angel." Says Satoru knowing that he'll flutter your heart so good. "Thank you." You respond normally trying to hide your feelings. Deep inside, Satoru knows that you've caught a bit of feelings for him.
