When Shu previously mentioned the events at the summit of East Mountain, Lu Xi'an had a feeling there was something peculiar there.

In the old world, this mountain seemed to have been developed, with a once paved but cracking road outside and a walkway mostly overrun by wild grasses, making it unclear.

Only occasionally visible broken edges amidst the grass indicated the walkway once existed for pedestrians.

The road, too, was close to being overtaken by grass, with weeds on both sides pushing hard onto the path, like two forces competing for ownership of the road, neither backing down.

Regardless, the car could still pass.

The vehicle continued to wobble upwards, and Shu assured them from the roof that the path was alright and would lead to the summit. He had always taken this route.

Lu Xi'an couldn't fully trust the old man. He sent a drone to scout and confirm Shu's claim before fully relaxing.

The old man on the roof was truly dedicated, continuing to teach Chai Xin.

However, while teaching, he would often say, "It fell again."
