Ryo's mouth fell open as he blurted out, "ZABORU!?" The moment he saw the familiar face, shock and disbelief overwhelmed him.

Hearing someone shout his name, Zaboru turned toward the source of the voice, only to be just as surprised. "Ryo?" he asked, before realization struck him. Ryo Miyagi. That meant he was likely the son of Sai Miyagi, the owner of Miyagi Batteries.

"Oh, Ryo? Are you the son of Miyagi-san?" Zaboru asked, piecing everything together.

Sai Miyagi chuckled. "Oh! I didn't know you knew my son, Renkonan-san. How do you two know each other?"

Ryo walked forward and extended his hand toward Zaboru. "We were classmates back in Hibana High, Dad." He grinned. "It's been a while, man. How've you been?"

Zaboru smiled and shook Ryo's hand. "I've been good. Nice to see you again, Ryo."

After a brief moment of catching up, Zaboru, accompanied by Kudou, got straight to business. His friendly expression turned serious as he addressed Sai Miyagi directly.

"Miyagi-san, I'll be blunt. I have a project that requires a special type of battery—one that lasts significantly longer than most, but is exclusively compatible with the device we're developing."

Sai Miyagi furrowed his brow. "Ren-san, I think Miyagi Batteries may not be able to produce such a battery. We are only a mid-sized company, and while we have our own manufacturing facilities, developing something as advanced as what you're requesting is beyond our current capabilities."

Zaboru remained calm, nodding as if he had anticipated this hesitation. "I understand, Miyagi-san. That's why I'm offering you a deal."

He leaned forward slightly, his tone authoritative. "ZAGE is willing to provide you with the necessary resources, research, and funding to develop these high-performance batteries. In return, Miyagi Batteries will become ZAGE's exclusive supplier for these specialized batteries, producing them strictly for our handheld gaming division."

Sai Miyagi's eyes widened slightly. "So you're saying ZAGE will provide us with the technology to make these batteries, but in exchange, we must produce them only for you?"

Zaboru nodded. "Exactly. Additionally, we will sign a strict contract to ensure confidentiality. No information about this battery technology can be leaked to any other company."

Sai Miyagi's mind raced. "W...what!?" A special deal like this could ensure steady business, but it would also mean that Miyagi Batteries would be locked into a single client. If ZAGE failed or the demand for their secret project didn't take off, Miyagi Batteries could suffer greatly.

Sai took a deep breath, ready to refuse outright.

But before he could speak, Ryo suddenly interrupted.

"We accept, Zaboru-san!"

Sai turned to his son, eyes widening in disbelief and thought 'What are you thinking, Ryo!?' , but then Sai said "I`m Sorry Zaboru-san can I and my son discuss this privately , could you wait for 5 minutes?"

Zaboru brow raise "Waiting here..? really?" he clearly feel slighty disrespected.

Ryo, however, stood firm. "Father, this is an incredible opportunity! Do you even understand how big ZAGE is right now? You're thinking about them as if they're just some small startup, but you couldn't be more wrong!"

Sai Miyagi hesitated. "What do you mean?"

Ryo took a step forward, frustration evident in his tone. "Dad, you don't understand what's happening outside of this company. Do you know how massive ZAGE has become in the entertainment sector? Have you been living under a rock?"

Zaboru crossed his arms, amused by the sudden turn of events, while Kudou watched the heated discussion unfold.

"ZEPS is a Japanese sensation! ZAGE is dominating the gaming industry! They single-handedly revived the video game industry, which was considered dead just a year ago! And yet, you're treating them like some second-rate company? Wake up!"

Sai was taken aback by his son's outburst. "Ryo, business isn't just about jumping on trends—"

"It's about recognizing an opportunity!" Ryo shot back. "Miyagi Batteries is struggling in the battery market. If we continue on our current path, we'll eventually become irrelevant! But by partnering with ZAGE, we secure a long-term deal with one of the most promising companies in Japan! This is our chance!"

Zaboru's chuckle and respect for Ryo at that moment shows that Ryo really knows ZAGE potential it seems. He had expected resistance, but Ryo immediately saw the potential and fought for it.

Sai Miyagi sighed deeply. "Zaboru-san, I apologize for my initial skepticism. This is a major decision that will impact our company's future. Can we have some time to discuss this internally?"

Zaboru nodded. "I understand. Take your time. However, I need a final decision by next week at the latest."

Sai bowed slightly. "Thank you for your patience. We will reach out soon."

With that, Zaboru and Kudou stood up, ready to leave. Sai and Ryo escorted them out of the Miyagi Battery headquarters.

As soon as Zaboru and Kudou were out of sight, Sai turned to his son, his expression a mixture of frustration and concern.

"What were you thinking, Ryo!?" he asked, his voice sharp.

Ryo clenched his fists. "I was thinking about our future, Dad! Do you seriously want to let this opportunity slip away just because of your outdated mindset!?"

Sai exhaled sharply. "ZAGE is still new. What if they fail?"

"And what if they succeed?" Ryo countered. "If we don't take this deal, someone else will. And by then, it'll be too late for us."

Sai fell silent. He knew his son had a point. This decision could make or break Miyagi Batteries.

After a long pause, Sai finally spoke. "Let's discuss this with your uncles and grandfather. We need to weigh every option carefully."

Ryo nodded. "Good. But Dad… don't let pride blind you from making the right choice."

Sai sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Let's hope we make the right decision."
