Another World Domination

Chapter 3: Chapter 2 : Ocean

While the Pain were heading to the border of the Rain Country,

he and Konan immediately took off towards the sea, searching for a good place for their operation.

Just a bit of info, the Rain Country's landmass is stuck right in the middle of the continent. So, he had to get to the ocean, which was really far away. That's why he was using air travel – aka, flying. One of his Rinnegan abilities is gravity manipulation. With it, he could reduce the gravity affecting his body to zero. With no gravity on him, his weight became zero. It's like that Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation. To fly using this, he just had to focus gravity at the soles of his feet. He converted the gravitational energy into a propulsion system, pulled his mass through the air while simultaneously resisting gravity.

That's how he could fly. The more chakra he put in, the faster he could go.

Right now, he was flying through the air, at about 400 km/h. He was around 100 meters above the surface of the sea. Any pebble or object that tried to hit him while flying, would get sucked into the zero-gravity zone around his body. So, he wasn't worried about getting hurt by anything he flew through.

Konan was right beside him, flying at the same speed. She was using her paper wings.

Honestly though, flying was awesome. He finally understood why humans always dreamed of it.

The original Nagato never really pushed this gravity manipulation to its limits because his physical body was always sick. Plus, Pain had to be within a certain range. It was like a network signal.

He was like the signal tower, and the Pains were like smartphones that received the signal. So, the further he was from them, the worse the signal quality they'd get. But thankfully, he'd solved that problem with the Founding Titan skill. This skill had an independent world called Paths. Paths connected everything, no matter how far apart they were. Since the Pains were always getting chakra infusions from him, they were automatically connected through it.

The Pains received the Rinnegan signal and chakra through this invisible pathway. This pathway was centered in the Paths world.

This meant that his Pain control range was unlimited now. He could control them from anywhere on the planet.

He was using the Rinnegan's power to its max, unlike the original Nagato.

He and Konan were flying from Amegakure, headed towards Nayuki beach, in Taki Country, home to the Shinobi village Takigakure, and the home of Akatsuki's financial secretary, Kakuzu.

Wait, why was he flying to Taki Country? If he was trying to avoid the continent conflict and Obito's influence, shouldn't he be heading to the Kaiju Ocean?

He slowed down and stopped in mid-air.

When she saw Nagato suddenly slow down, she slowed down too.

After they stopped, she caught up with him. "What's wrong, Nagato? Why'd you stop all of a sudden?" Konan asked. The weather today was sunny, and the sunlight was shining on them both.

"If we're looking for a good place, then why are we heading to Taki?" Nagato asked.

"Didn't you say that the northwest of Iwagakure would be a good spot for a rescue operation?" She thought it was strange, what was happening to Nagato?

Had he ever said that? "The plan changed; the northwest of Iwagakure isn't a good spot for Amegakure's new home." That spot really wasn't good at all.

"That's right, you're right. Geographically, we are bordering the waters of Iwagakure, Yuki no Kuni, and Tetsu no Kuni. Although, the 2 countries other than Iwagakure can be ignored. but to prevent the possibility of an invasion by the Alliance, we shouldn't choose this place. It's too risky. Also, it's still way too close to the continent's conflict." After saying that, Konan looked at him.

"Then why don't we just choose the Kaiju Ocean?" he asked Konan.

The Kaiju Ocean was one of the four oceans in the world, and the biggest one. It was called Kaiju because there used to be a lot of sea monsters there. But now, they were all gone because of being hunted down by Shinobi over the last few centuries. Shinobi wanted to take them down to make them summoning animals or for missions.

Now, it was just a regular ocean.

(World Map)

"The Kaiju Ocean… Yeah, it's far from the continent's conflict and has a great geographical location. I agree with your idea, Nagato. But the distance between us and the Kaiju Ocean right now is huge. If we fly at 400 km/h, then we'd have to fly for 21 hours and 57 minutes non-stop. I can't fly that long, Nagato."

They were around 8,784 km away from the Kaiju Ocean, which was a long way. It was like flying from Jakarta to Port Elizabeth in South Africa.

His fastest speed right now was 580 km/h, and he couldn't go any faster. If he kept increasing his speed, he would die due to lack of oxygen. Flying at 400 km/h was already making him feel breathless, so above 580 km/h he'd be a goner.

The question was, could he fly for 21 hours and 57 minutes non-stop? He was worried that his Rinnegan would overheat.

"Alright, Konan, you just wait in Amegakure. I'll fly to the Kaiju Ocean by myself." That was the only solution he could think of right now.

"Okay, I'll take your advice. I'll go back to Amegakure." Konan said.

"Okay then, I'm heading out." He immediately flew towards the Kaiju Ocean.

"Come back safely, Nagato," Konan yelled from below.

"Yeah!!" He yelled back to Konan below, while waving his hand to her.

It was 10:00 AM now, which meant he would arrive at his destination around 7:57 AM the next day. In the meantime, he had to get used to the changing air temperatures.

Today was the perfect day for carrying out the rescue operation for Amegakure.

Because right now, Obito was telling Sasuke about Itachi's past. The good news was that Black Zetsu was with Obito at this time.

The timing of Obito explaining Itachi's past to Sasuke happened to coincide with the attack on Konoha. So, Black Zetsu wasn't around to keep an eye on him. That was good for him.

Why was he so worried about Black Zetsu? First off, Zetsu would find out about his plan, once he knew about his betrayal. Then, Zetsu would definitely tell Obito.

He couldn't win against Obito at this point. He was just a regular teenager who lived in peaceful times. Unlike Obito, who was born in wartime.

Their experiences were different. When he entered Nagato Uzumaki's body, he didn't inherit any of Nagato's old memories.

That's why he didn't have the confidence to fight Obito. Besides, to beat Obito, he'd need Kakashi's left eye.

So how could he control the Rinnegan, without Nagato's memories? Easy, his body had already done it before. His body remembered all of Nagato's abilities. So, even if he'd never done it before, his body would do it for him.

Out of all the people in the world, the person he feared most was Black Zetsu. Why? In the anime, Madara Uchiha, who'd already reached the power of the Six Paths Sage, was still stabbed in the heart by Black Zetsu. An attack like that shouldn't have worked on Madara, if anyone else had done it.

But Black Zetsu was different. Madara, who'd reached the power of the Six Paths, was made unable to move by Black Zetsu. He didn't know what power Black Zetsu had used to attack Madara. But, he knew he needed to be very careful around Black Zetsu. The guy who was able to manipulate the world's history for 1000 years was the most dangerous in his opinion.

For those two reasons, that's why he wanted to move the Rain Country's landmass to a faraway ocean.

He didn't know how many White Zetsu clones were in Rain Country. But if the Rain Country's landmass was moved to the middle of the ocean, he could activate the Moving Land sub-skill. This sub-skill had the ability to create an absolute invisible shield. This shield could not be destroyed from the inside or outside.

This shield also could make Rain Country's landmass invisible.

This shield would activate automatically when someone had evil intentions towards him or his country.

Let me explain how this shield works. This shield can make the landmass moved by the skill invisible. Of course, he, as the skill user, can turn this feature on and off. This shield is both solid and not solid. This shield will automatically become solid when someone tries to enter or leave with bad intentions towards Nagato or his country.

Solid here means the shield becomes very hard and absolute. Only the part that someone with bad intentions was trying to pass through would become solid, not all of it. The shield could only be seen using doujutsu.

The shield was shaped like a sphere, meaning Zetsu clones couldn't get out through the ground, either. For now, he didn't know if Obito's Kamui ability or Minato's Hiraishin jutsu could penetrate this shield. For now, as long as the Zetsu clones didn't tell Obito about his plan, Obito wouldn't come to the Kaiju Ocean, would he?

The shield's range covers the entire landmass of the Rain Country, including the beach that will form later. The surrounding sea isn't included in the shield's range.

After thinking about all that, he looked down. He could see a beautiful view – lush green forests and a bright blue sky.

He was seeing it all from a height of 100 meters. There were a lot of beautiful places in this virgin forest. Clear waterfalls and animals roaming around made him smile.

How long had it been since he'd last seen a view like this? Maybe 10 years ago when he was 9. Since then, he'd never gone on vacation with his parents again. They were too busy with their own worlds until death separated them for good.

He finally saw human settlements, it seemed he had entered the Land of Fire. Up here, he could see people's houses, rice paddies, and people walking around.

The average homes he saw were like late Edo-period Japanese homes. The clothing they wore was the same, too. The late Edo period in Japan was around 1850-1869.

The fact that there were feudal lords already hinted at what period Kishimoto was using. It was clearly the Edo period.

Before he knew it, he'd been flying for 6 hours and 35 minutes straight. Right now he was standing in the air. He could hear his heavy breathing. Sweat was pouring down his face, and blood was coming out of his eyes. He touched his eyelids and saw thick red blood. "Rinnegan is overheating," he said, holding his knees as he gasped for air.

If he kept using it, his eyes would definitely go permanently blind. Rinnegan couldn't be healed with his regeneration ability because it was never really his.

He couldn't regenerate something that wasn't his to begin with.

He pulled out a map from his pocket and looked at it. "According to the map, my current location is in the Udon no Kuni sea. What a strange name for a country. I better rest for a bit." He flew toward the noodle country.

He finally made it to the Land of Noodles. He tried to land in a spot that wasn't too obvious. When his feet touched the ground, they suddenly felt very weak, and he fell to the ground. He gasped for air, then coughed out a mouthful of blood. "This is my limit. If I keep using this ability, I'm going to lose my Rinnegan." He looked at the brown ground, then got back up. He stood up, trying to balance himself.

"I'm still wearing the Akatsuki cloak right now. If I keep wearing it, I'm going to draw attention. It's better to take it off." He quickly unbuttoned his cloak and took it off.

He straightened his Akatsuki cloak and held it in his left hand.

He walked with blurred vision. He thought it was temporary and would go back to normal. But if he used that ability again, he'd lose his sight.

"But, I didn't think that using gravity manipulation for too long would be this bad. Is it because I'm not the original Rinnegan user?" Hmmm... Forget that for now. For now, focus on what he has to do.

He was on a deserted road right now. There was a city not far from here. He had seen it from up above.

Info: By "Original User" he means the person who awakened the Rinnegan eye

He could hear the sound of horses' hooves approaching quickly.

He looked behind him and saw a horse-drawn carriage. He smiled. "Right now, I'm hungry and I forgot to bring money."

He stretched out his hand towards the horse-drawn carriage that was headed his way. He took out a black metal bar from his hand and threw it at the wheel of the carriage.

Going back a few minutes...

"Your Excellency Daimyo, we will reach the capital soon," said the driver of the carriage.

Inside the carriage were only two people – a man and a woman. "Fuka, are you enjoying this vacation?" the man asked.

"Of course, I am, darling," the woman answered.

"Your Excellency, we see someone who looks like he's hurt. Do we need to help him?" one of the horse drivers asked.

"No need," the man replied coldly.

"Hey, look, this guy's pointing his hand at us? What does he want to do?" the driver saw the injured man point his right hand at them.

"What's happening?" the man asked, panicking.

"Fuck, this guy just took out a black metal bar from his hand." The driver said, now panicking.

"Shinobi!!" the man thought.

Back to the present…

He saw the carriage had crashed into pieces and hit some rocks.

"Looks like I overdid it. I hope they didn't die." He went up to the wrecked carriage.

The two horses pulling the carriage looked like they were killed on impact with the rocks.

When he took a closer look, his stomach suddenly felt nauseous. He saw the carriage drivers' insides scattered everywhere. The two drivers had died gruesome deaths.

He held back his nausea. He went up to the carriage and forced open the door. He saw a pretty woman and a fat man. The man was wearing really flashy clothes like a 60s American rock star, which surprised him a little.

"Just like I expected, from the anime world... What is this?" He went inside the carriage, and saw a black suitcase.

He picked it up and forced it open. It was filled with tons of Konoha cash. The entire suitcase was just full of cash.

He started sweating a little when he saw this. "Who is this guy? Why is he carrying so much money?" This must be millions of Ryo.

Even though he was rich in his past life, he'd never seen this much physical cash. The billions of Rupiah his parents had in his past life were all in digital form, so it was understandable that he'd never seen this much cash before.

"I need to leave this place right away; he must be an important person." He immediately ran towards the city, leaving the carriage behind.

Seven minutes later, he finally reached the city of Morio, in the Land of Noodles. He saw many people going about their business. Seeing the city's architecture and the clothes people wore, made him think he was traveling back in time to Asia in the early 18th century.

He walked into a roadside noodle restaurant, and sat down at an empty table. He looked at the menu on the table and chose a beef ramen. "Three beef ramen, please," he said.

"Three beef ramen, coming right up. Please wait," replied the ramen vendor.

He pondered his plan. The distance between the Land of Noodles and the Kaiju Ocean was 6,240 kilometers away. If he continued to fly at 400 km/h, it would take too long. He didn't have much time. Black Zetsu and Obito would become suspicious of why Nagato wasn't attacking Konoha, as planned.

If that happened, his plan would fail and fall apart.

Therefore, he needed to figure out how to get to the Kaiju Ocean quickly.

"Keep it down, you little brat!"

"What? Did you just insult me?"

He heard the sound of a kid arguing outside.

What was that kid arguing about? The sound... the sound... "Why don't I just increase my speed? Up to twice the speed of sound? With that, I could get to my destination in 2 hours and 31 minutes?" His limit now was 6 hours and 35 minutes of flying, and that was at 400 km/h! So what would happen if he increased his speed to 2 Mach? Would his limit decrease drastically?

What would the impact be on his body if he flew at that speed? 400 km/h already made him breathless, let alone 2 Mach. He wasn't like Koro-sensei; his body was like a normal human. Strong air pressure could shatter his eardrums.

While he was thinking, he heard the sound of the waitress putting food on the table.

Seeing three delicious, hot bowls of ramen in front of him, his stomach started growling.

Think about that later, after eating. For now, fill his stomach first.

He immediately started eating with chopsticks. "Delicious, just as expected from the Land of Noodles."

After eating for 20 minutes, he finally finished all three bowls of ramen and was now drinking regular water. "Sir, may I sleep here for 3 hours?" he asked sleepily. He was very tired today, really.

"Of course, you can, young man," an old man wearing all white like a chef, said to him.

After getting permission, he put his black suitcase on the table. Then, he rested his head on the black suitcase in front of him.

He rubbed his eyes and yawned. "What time is it?" he mumbled.

He looked around. The sunlight was gone and had been replaced by a beautiful moon. Lights had been turned on.

He saw the black suitcase was still in his hand.

He got up, and opened the suitcase. The contents were still the same, money. It turned out that crime was low in this country. He thought the suitcase would've been gone, maybe stolen.

He took a stack of 50 Ryo bills from the suitcase, and then took one single Ryo bill. "Waiter, I'm putting the money here." After saying that, he left the noodle restaurant.

"Hey, young man, you paid 20 Ryo too much!" the waiter yelled.

"It's okay, keep it," he said. Then, he jumped into the sky, and hovered there.

If he really did fall asleep, it was for 3 hours. That means it's 8:02 PM now. He looked at the moon shining in the night sky. For some reason, the moon here looks exactly the same as it did on Earth.

His vision was back to normal. Just in 3 hours, his vision, which was blurry like an 8-bit game, had become like a game with 18k resolution.

Alright, let's do this. "Ocean of Kaiju, here I come!!" He started pouring a ton of chakra into his flight ability.

He could feel just how much gravitational energy he had.

He looked toward his destination and started to fly, not immediately going to Mach 2; it needed to be gradual.

His speed kept increasing. 400, 500, 700. At 700, he felt the powerful air pressure.

When he hit 1000 km/h, supersonic air appeared around his body. At this speed, he had trouble breathing. He could even hear the sound of his bones rubbing together.

His heart was beating super fast, pumping blood throughout his body.

He kept adding to his flight speed until he reached Mach 2, which is 2,470 km/h. He couldn't push the speed any higher than this; his body wouldn't be able to handle it. Even at this speed, the air pressure was incredibly intense. He couldn't even hear anymore because his eardrums had already burst, and it hurt like hell.

The temperature around him had dropped to below freezing. The sub-zero temperature made his whole body shiver.

He also felt an incredible dizziness and pain.

In his entire life, he had never felt pain like this.

The oxygen was getting thinner; he was now running low on it.

The reason he wasn't dying, he speculated, was thanks to his Super Regeneration skill. If he didn't have that ability, he would definitely be dead or seriously injured at Mach 2 speed, with the insane air pressure.

The sky was already very dark, and the quiet sea was startled by his flying speed.

The supersonic boom made the once peaceful sea noisy.

He continued to fly, maintaining his current speed. He flew past islands and settlements, then, a moment later, he saw the ocean again.

That was the last island he saw.

He had already been flying for over 2 hours, and his body was exhausted. Fortunately, he had his regeneration ability, so he could regenerate his damaged body parts.

His Rinnegan eyes were doing okay for now.

...

31 minutes later, he finally arrived at his destination. He looked around, and all he saw was an endless sea. He also heard the sound of waves.

His hearing was back to normal now, thanks to his regeneration ability. But he could still feel the pain from his flight.

He was still panting from flying for 2 hours and 31 minutes. His face was covered in sweat.

His Rinnegan was also almost overheating, evidenced by the red blood coming from both eyes.

He wiped the blood from his eyelids.

He decided to go down. Before his feet touched the surface of the sea, he saw something strange; he saw a huge wall in the distance. "What's that?" he said, surprised. The wall was like a wall separating worlds in the mythology stories he'd seen in his previous life. It didn't have a color, it was just transparent.

"What is that, a mirage? But is it cold enough here to make such a realistic mirage?" Nagato said, confused.

To be continued…
