Chapter 523: Chapter 523: My Wife Is About to Give Birth
Daidouji Sonome stared at the portal in front of her with amazement. Though she was tempted to step through immediately, she checked the time and realized it wasn't the right moment.
Since that was the case, they could just wait until tomorrow. There was no rush.
After chatting a bit more with Daidouji Sonome, Takumi left with Bronya and Tomoyo. This visit really was just to check in on young Tomoyo and Sakura. Tomorrow would be a better time to continue the conversation. Perhaps by then, Takumi could also study the Clow Cards more closely—maybe even remodel them.
He considered turning them into Class Cards like the ones used by Illyasviel in Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya. Wouldn't it be cool if Sakura could perform a Fantasia Summon? Takumi was genuinely looking forward to this.
After opening the portal, he returned. Tomoyo remained in her palace. She had already made arrangements for tomorrow. Once the younger Tomoyo and the others arrived, she would show them around.
Tomoyo had instructed her staff: if someone who looked very similar to her suddenly appeared in the palace, notify her immediately. When they heard this order, the staff were quite puzzled.
Someone who looked like Princess Tomoyo? Was that even possible?
Still confused, they took note of the instruction.
...
Back at home, Takumi and Bronya had returned. Bronya couldn't help but ask:
"When are you planning to bring the Fate universe over?"
Takumi was caught off guard by the sudden question.
"What's up? Is there a problem?"
"Not exactly," Bronya replied, "I just think the Clow Cards are quite similar to the Class Cards used by Magical Girl Illya. Maybe we could experiment a little?"
Bronya had been thinking about this on the way home and found the idea rather intriguing.
Takumi lit up at her suggestion. "I thought the same thing just now. Sounds like a great idea. I can manufacture some myself. I still remember the techniques for creating Class Cards."
He grinned. "Maybe I could even make myself into a Heroic Spirit card."
His enthusiasm grew as he spoke. Not only could he turn himself into a Class Card, but if needed, he could also replicate the powers of others into similar cards—so long as they cooperated. It seemed like a fun idea.
He even considered handing a few out—let others borrow his power, perhaps.
"I could be a lender of powers!"
"Uhh... maybe don't," Bronya quickly interjected. "You're seriously thinking of lending out your powers? Are you trying to start a war?"
Takumi's strength was overwhelming. Lending that out would be too dangerous. Such immense power wasn't easy to control, and it could easily lead to problems.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing," Takumi reassured. "I was just speculating. Maybe once our world fully evolves into something like the Little Garden (Box Garden), then I'll consider creating Gift Cards."
He certainly wouldn't release his power carelessly. Only when it was necessary.
Bronya nodded and said no more.
Ram and Rem had already gone to bed. Takumi and Bronya didn't disturb them. After washing up, they went to rest as well.
...
The next morning, in Tomoyo's palace, young Tomoyo and Daidouji Sonome emerged from a room. The guards, seeing them, were momentarily stunned. When they spotted young Tomoyo, their eyes widened.
"Princess Tomoyo?" one of the guards asked uncertainly.
Young Tomoyo blinked. "Hello! I'm not your Princess Tomoyo. Is she here? We came to find her."
The guards quickly started leading them toward the princess's quarters. Tomoyo had already informed them the day before. The princess had long anticipated this.
At that moment, Tomoyo had just finished her breakfast and was meditating. Hearing movement outside, she opened her eyes.
A moment later, someone came in to report. Tomoyo rose immediately and walked out.
When young Tomoyo and Sakura saw her again, their eyes sparkled.
Tomoyo was dressed in her royal gown, appearing exceptionally elegant and noble. To the two girls, she seemed dazzling.
Young Tomoyo, in particular, couldn't take her eyes off her grown-up self. She now wished she could grow up faster.
Daidouji Sonome, seeing her daughter like this, was also delighted. She quietly looked forward to the day her own daughter would grow up into a princess.
Tomoyo welcomed them warmly. After chatting inside for a while, she began taking them on a tour of Takumi's world.
They didn't go directly to Takumi's home. Instead, Tomoyo guided them around first.
Takumi had already received word that they had arrived, but he didn't go out to greet them. He figured Tomoyo could handle everything.
At that time, Takumi was at home having breakfast with Bronya.
"So, what's your plan for today?" Bronya asked curiously over breakfast.
"A few errands," Takumi replied. "I'll start by retrieving the spiritual-energy-revival world. Don't want to forget it. Then I'll go fetch Tsukuyomi's world."
That was his agenda for the day. Other than world retrieval, he didn't have much else to do.
"Alright then," Bronya said. "Go do your thing. I'll go find Tomoyo later."
Takumi nodded.
After breakfast, they got moving. Takumi followed the world markers he had left behind and headed out. Bronya left to meet up with Tomoyo.
Just as Takumi resumed his world-collecting efforts, someone responded to one of the invitation scrolls he had sent out.
This time, it was a man.
A man like the sun.
His sudden appearance was immediately detected by Prometheus.
Since Takumi was out, Prometheus had to greet the visitor personally.
The man who appeared was none other than Minato Namikaze.
He looked completely bewildered.
"My wife is due to give birth in a few days… how did the Flying Thunder God technique mess up?!"
