Angle's Arrogance? My Pact with the Succubus Queen!

Chapter 124: Six-Winged Angel, Kafka!

To Logan, this human federation familiar ranking competition was basically a chance to get rewards for free.

After all, besides having a lot of A-level familiars, he also knew the Resonance technique.

A single Heserion could boost the power of five familiars at the same time. Who could possibly stand up to that kind of power?

Plus, he had ritual ceremonies that could increase stats, and he could get a lot of training resources from the Genius Training Camp.

With all these advantages, it was almost impossible for Logan to lose.

So he decided to take his team for a big fight.

Yelena, Sawako, and Jessica each had one A-level familiar, so Logan signed them up for the competition.

If they could break through to Master level before the group stage, getting a good rank was almost certain.

Logan didn't stop at just one Heserion. According to the rules, every familiar tamer could enter three familiars.

So he also signed up his [horned hawk·Red Feather] and [ocean's guardian·Nabo] for the competition.

The next day after submitting the application, Logan led the Red Flower Guild members out again.

This time, to help Yelena and the others get stronger, he chose the Blood Cultivation Realm, which had a rich and diverse monster ecosystem.

Although there were no strong familiars guarding the area, the environment was complicated, and there were many different types of monsters — perfect for finding young familiars.

So, Logan spent three days holding a new version of the ritual ceremony for Yelena, Sawako, and Jessica.

Until the three girls each had a blood crystal appear on their foreheads, Logan finally gave a satisfied nod.

Since Logan held a ritual ceremony almost every day, the three girls improved very quickly.

On the fourth day, Yelena was the first to break through to Master stage 1.

Then, on the fifth and sixth days, Sawako and Jessica also reached Master stage 1.

By the time they finished their exploration in the Blood Cultivation Realm on the seventh day, Logan led the group back to Star Lake again.

This time, it was a big success. Not only did all of his agents reach Master stage 3 or higher, but he also trained 16 agents to Master stage 5.

Logan immediately assigned these 16 people to the eight teams in the Oversight Department, making them leaders or deputy leaders.

After finishing all the arrangements, Logan checked the time. There were still three days until the ranking competition started.

"It's time to head to Snow Dragon." Logan sighed, and he was about to leave with Yelena, Sawako, and Jessica.

But before their familiars could take off, Fischl, Yura, and Tracy arrived at Star Lake.

Tracy already knew Logan, so she didn't hold back. She ran up and jumped into his arms. "You really made me miss you!"

Logan felt the firmness of her chest and gently pushed her back. "You guys came all this way—what's up?"

"Exactly! I brought our leader and another vice leader. We want to join your guild. You have to take us in." Tracy said, wrapping her arms around his neck and rubbing her chest against his nose.

Logan felt a strong milk smell coming into his nose. He pushed her away again and turned to look at Fischl and Yura.

Compared to Tracy's tall and fiery figure, Yura looked like a little girl—short arms and legs, a round face, and very cute.

Fischl, on the other hand, was cold and distant, giving off the vibe of an ice queen.

The two of them walked up to Logan. Yura was the first to speak. "Logan, our guild Blood Blade suffered a lot in the Beast Tide. Tracy has some connection with you, so we want to merge with your guild."

At that moment, about a dozen members of Blood Blade came forward, following Yura and Tracy.

They were both beautiful and well-built, and as soon as they showed up, they caught Logan's attention.

Fischl noticed how Logan was staring at them with a sly look, and her opinion of him dropped instantly. She let out a small scoff. "Pervert."

Tracy saw this and didn't want Logan to feel embarrassed, so she quickly explained: "Don't judge by looks—these girls are top in administration and paperwork. Some are really good at healing and gathering information."

Logan's eyes lit up. He had a bunch of rough guys under him, and he really needed girls who were more careful and thoughtful.

"No problem, you're more than welcome!" Logan warmly called over Macon and the others, telling them to find places for the Blood Blade girls to stay.

"You guys settle in first. I have to go to Snow Dragon for the competition. We'll talk when I get back," Logan said, bowing to Tracy and the others before turning around and leaving Star Lake without a second glance.

Throughout the whole thing, he didn't even look at Fischl once, which made her look really annoyed.

Only when Logan was completely out of sight did Fischl finally mutter: "That guy dare to ignore me? Am I not as good as those Blood Blade guys?"

Tracy, who was standing nearby, awkwardly tugged on Fischl's sleeve. "Imperial Princess, Logan is going to the competition. You're also going, right? Why don't you…?"

Fischl suddenly remembered and nodded. "Okay, I'll go to the competition. You and Yura stay here and gather information. Let me know the moment you find anything."

With that, a huge raven appeared under Fischl, and she flew off quickly toward Snow Dragon.

Three days later, in the central square of Snow Dragon.

The familiar ranking competition was about to start, and the draw was about to take place.

Logan, Yelena, and the others stood in line, quietly waiting.

To avoid any trouble, everyone wore masks.

Around them, other familiar tamers looked at the group of one boy and three girls with envy and curiosity.

"Look at that guy! He's really lucky—he's got three girls with him to watch the competition."

"You're wrong. They're not here to watch. They're here to sign up for the competition too."

"Wait! Now that you mention it, I feel like I've seen that boy somewhere before."

"Wow! I feel the same way. Don't you think he looks a little like Logan?"

After hearing that, the familiar tamers around them quickly pulled out pictures of Logan and covered the mouths and noses in the photos.

After comparing, they got excited.

"It's him! That's Logan!"

"Quick, go get his autograph!"

"I'm first in line!"

As the crowd started to rush toward them, Logan frowned slightly and was about to use his [Guardian of the Blood Cultivation Realm] ability to block them off.

Suddenly, a group of armed soldiers ran into the square and stood in front of Logan, separating him and his group from the other familiar tamers.

At that moment, old Corleone, leaning on his cane, slowly walked out of the crowd with Evelynna by his side and stood in front of Logan. "Hey there, kid. It's been a while."

Logan remembered old Corleone clearly, so he politely greeted him. "Hello, we met during the civil war in the Genius Training Camp."

Seeing that Logan remembered him, old Corleone smiled and nodded. "I heard there was some misunderstanding between you and Evelynna. I brought her here to apologize to you."

When he heard the word "apology," Logan instinctively touched his nose. "I don't have any grudge with Miss Evelynna."

To be honest, he didn't really hate Evelynna. He just hated the angel Diana.

Old Corleone smiled widely when he heard that. "Good, you two young people should talk more. I won't bother you."

As old Corleone left, Evelynna stepped up next to Logan. "Grandpa told me to follow you and join the competition. Please take care of me."

After saying that, she looked at the registration forms of Logan and his group. She wasn't surprised to see Red Feather and Nabo, the familiars that Logan had bonded with.

But she was a bit upset when she saw that Yelena and Sawako had also gotten A-level familiars so easily. "It's true—Genius Training Camp has the best resources. Everyone here has an A-level familiar. I don't even have one... I gave my angel familiar away, and the person didn't even give me a gift in return."

Jessica turned a little red when she heard that.

After all, the current master of the angel Diana was her.

She was thinking about how to return the favor to Evelynna when Logan suddenly spoke up. "Why don't I help you get into the top eight? That'll be my gift to you, okay?"

Evelynna was surprised by Logan's bold words. Her eyes lit up.

She knew Logan wasn't the type to talk big, so she asked: "How are you going to help me?"

Logan smiled and took the registration form from Evelynna. "Let me see which familiar you signed up for."

He opened the form and saw a familiar picture and a familiar aura. It was an Archangel with six wings—Kafka.

"Are all these angels the same? If it weren't for the wings, I'd think it was Diana." Logan pulled a corner of his mouth, handed the form back to Evelynna, and sighed. "You really like angels, Evelynna."

Evelynna heard the sarcasm in his words and stepped closer to Logan. She breathed softly into his collar and said, "I can't help it. After last time, I think you still like the version of me with wings."

She turned a little red and whispered, "Next time, how about trying one with six wings?"
