Daniel finally arrived back at Konoha, the familiar sights and sounds of the village filling him with a sense of relief and homecoming. As soon as he stepped through the gates, a shinobi approached him with a message. "Daniel, the Hokage wants to see you," he said.

Daniel nodded and headed towards the Hokage's office, his mind racing with thoughts of his recent mission. "My clone snagged some of Kimimaru's DNA, so I've got his kekkei genkai now. Although I never intended to collect rare or intriguing abilities, it's become my hobby," he mused as he walked.

Arriving at the Hokage's office, Daniel took a deep breath and knocked on the door. "Enter," came the voice from inside.

Daniel pushed the door open and stepped in, finding Tsunade busy with her paperwork. She glanced up at him, her eyes narrowing slightly. "And you are...?" she began, her tone cool and assessing.

"This is the other genin alongside Shikamaru who became a chunin, my lady, the one who acted recklessly on his current mission," Shizune interjected, stepping forward to remind Tsunade.

Tsunade's gaze hardened as she looked at Daniel. "Recklessly, huh? Explain yourself," she demanded, her voice carrying the weight of authority.

Daniel stood tall, meeting her gaze with determination. "Hokage-sama, I know I took risks, but I did what I believed was necessary to protect the people of the Land of Tea. We uncovered the truth behind the war and defeated the factions that were manipulating everything."

Tsunade's expression softened slightly as she listened, her curiosity piqued. "Go on," she urged.

After listening to Daniel's recount of his mission, Tsunade nodded, acknowledging his bravery and the impact of his actions. "Your mission in the Land of Tea was a success, Daniel. You've shown great courage and determination," she said, her voice carrying a tone of genuine admiration.

But Tsunade's expression quickly turned stern. "However," she continued, her eyes narrowing, "there's more to being a shinobi than just bravery and good intentions."

"A shinobi's duty is not just to act on impulse or personal conviction. We are soldiers of our village, and we have protocols and responsibilities to uphold," Tsunade lectured, her voice firm and unyielding. "What you did was reckless and irresponsible. You took on a mission that was not officially sanctioned, and in doing so, you risked not only your life but also the reputation of our village."

Daniel listened intently, "I understand ," he replied.

Tsunade softened slightly but remained resolute. "I understand that, Daniel. Your heart was in the right place, but as shinobi, we don't offer free services. Our actions have consequences, and we must consider the broader impact of our decisions. By acting outside of your orders, you could have jeopardized diplomatic relations and placed unnecessary strain on our resources."

She leaned forward, her gaze piercing. "A true shinobi understands the balance between duty and compassion. You must learn to navigate the complexities of our world, to act with both wisdom and strength. Your mission in the Land of Tea has taught you valuable lessons, but you must remember that our actions are not just about the immediate results. They have far-reaching implications."

Daniel nodded, absorbing her words. "I understand, Hokage-sama. I'll strive to be more mindful and responsible in my actions."

Tsunade's expression softened further. "Good. I believe in your potential, Daniel. You've shown that you have the heart of a shinobi, but you must also cultivate the discipline and wisdom that come with it."

Shizune, standing beside Tsunade, smiled reassuringly. "We're here to guide you, Daniel. Learn from this experience, and continue to grow stronger and wiser."

Feeling a renewed sense of purpose, Daniel bowed respectfully. "Thank you, Hokage-sama."

Daniel left the Hokage's office, his mind buzzing with the recent conversation. As he stepped onto the bustling streets of Konoha, he sensed a familiar chakra nearby, accompanied by another that was foreign yet powerful. "They've arrived already," he muttered with a grin. "Although this is not that necessary now, having Otsutsuki DNA sounds interesting. I can experiment with the karma now," he said to himself before vanishing in a blur.

In another part of the village, Karasuki, the time-traveling turtle, gave a warning. "I advise you to act with caution."

"I concur. You wouldn't want to change the future from which you come," Daniel said, his sudden presence alarming Boruto and future Sasuke. The two gasped as they turned, surprised that they hadn't noticed him before.

"Even at this age, he was strong," future Sasuke muttered, turning to face Daniel.

"Yo," Daniel greeted, his tone casual.

"Wait. Who is this?" Boruto asked, his voice filled with confusion. "And how does he...?"

"How did you know?" Sasuke interjected, cutting Boruto off.

Daniel smirked mischievously. "Come on. I'm sure you know, right? Anyway, I recognized your chakra the moment you arrived."

Sasuke's expression grew serious. "With how you managed to sneak up on me, you must've been hiding your strength since you became the Third Hokage's student."

Daniel didn't respond but simply smiled, enjoying the moment. "Hey... What's currently going on, and who is this?" Boruto asked, his curiosity piqued.

"This is Kaito's father," Sasuke replied, startling Boruto.

"What! No way!" Boruto exclaimed, looking at Daniel in disbelief.

"So, this is Naruto's spoiled son. It's a shame I can't see your pure eye in action," Daniel said, assessing Boruto. Suddenly, he moved closer, his movements a blur, making Boruto flinch.

"Anyway, you can stop being on edge. It's not like I'm the one after the Nine-Tails," Daniel said, walking backward a few steps. "And as for how I know... I'll leave that to your imagination," he added, dropping the matter.

"What do you want?" Sasuke asked, his tone firm.

"Wait, didn't Kaito have the Sharingan? Are you guys related?" Boruto muttered, looking between Sasuke and Daniel, trying to piece together a connection.

"Hahahaha! That's a good one. Not quite, kid. But then again, I guess I don't have to hide much around you guys," Daniel said, laughing.

"I'll be real with you. I'm simply here out of curiosity, and because I know that around you, I don't have to act weak or hide my powers. Anyway, this is just me indulging myself," Daniel said, his tone light and carefree. "I'm sure you want to find Naruto, so I'll head back home for now," he said, turning to leave.

As Daniel walked away, Boruto and Sasuke exchanged glances, both processing the unexpected encounter.
