Chapter 444: Territory, Territory

"This place must maintain a certain distance from the United States, but not too far!"

After inspecting the Ares Arsenal and Trident Shipyard, Donnie understood that what was truly important to him now was to find such a place, as the results from various research laboratories also indicated the same.

Although these studies are still considered secret, no one knows how long this secrecy can be maintained.

Even though Donnie had Dwight work on the issue, when it involved all the research development, Donnie decided to handle it himself.

And most importantly, having such a place would better fit Donnie's future plans.

Thinking of this, Donnie found a large map in his study and began searching for a suitable location.

Very quickly, Donnie found an ideal place.

This location is south of Florida, northeast of Cuba.

920 kilometers from Florida, it's known as the Turks and Caicos Islands. Comprising over 40 small islands, only 8 have indigenous inhabitants, and they are known as a tax haven in the future.

But now, it's nothing, just a small group of islands.

"Henry, I need all the information on the Turks and Caicos Islands, find it for me as soon as possible."

Donnie only knew this place was a British colony, and nothing else. To bring the entire archipelago into Venus Bank's fold, it required more understanding.

So Donnie called Henry Daryl and instructed him to gather all information regarding the Turks and Caicos Islands for him.

Donnie believed that with Venus Bank's information network, it wouldn't be difficult to accomplish this.

Sure enough, in less than fifteen minutes, Henry Daryl brought some documents to Donnie's office.

"Boss, here is all the information on the Turks and Caicos Islands...."

Henry Daryl placed the documents regarding the Turks and Caicos Islands on Tang Fei's desk.

"You go ahead!" Donnie said to Henry Daryl while flipping through the documents.

Henry Daryl said: "The Turks and Caicos Islands are located in the British West Indies, in the North American Atlantic and Caribbean Sea, with a total area of 430 square kilometers.

Located at the southeastern end of the Bahamas, 920 kilometers from Miami, Florida, and about 145 kilometers from Dominica and Haiti.

To the east, it faces the Atlantic Ocean, and to the west, it is separated from the Bahamas by water.

The entire archipelago has a tropical savanna climate, with islands made of limestone, low-lying terrains, and none higher than 25 meters. The coast is dotted with coral reefs.

When Columbus landed on the island in 1492, Indians inhabited the archipelago.

Not until 1678 did Europeans settle there, with British immigrants from Bermuda establishing a salt industry first.

Initially, the archipelago was under the jurisdiction of the Bahamas government and merged into the Jamaican colony in 1874, up until now.

It is estimated that the entire archipelago now has about twenty thousand residents, with 90% being black. Only Grand Turk and Salt Cay in the Turks Islands are inhabited, while in the Caicos Islands, the main inhabited islands are Providenciales, South Caicos, East Caicos, Middle Caicos, North Caicos, and West Caicos.

Over 95% of the islanders live on Providenciales Island."

Henry Daryl's report was just the basic information about the Turks and Caicos Islands. As Donnie listened, he reviewed the documents in his hand and occasionally matched them with information he had in mind about the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The current situation of the Turks and Caicos Islands is that they are a colony of Jamaica, which is a colony of the United Kingdom, so the Turks and Caicos Islands are also a British colony.

In 1959, the Turks and Caicos Islands broke away from Jamaica to form an independent government, only to be colonized by the United Kingdom again, and in 1980, they attempted independence, but after a public referendum, the vast majority chose to remain under British rule, resulting in the referendum's failure!

"So if we want to enter the Turks and Caicos Islands now, first, we need to deal with the Jamaican government's supervision; second, we need to deal with the British Salt Company that remains here; third, we need to deal with the indigenous people here?"

Donnie lightly tapped on the table.

Henry Daryl's face suddenly changed as he heard some shocking ideas in Donnie's words. However, he quickly dismissed these thoughts in his heart, considering such ideas too frightening. He also rationalized why Donnie might have such thoughts.

He had followed Donnie to inspect the Ares Arsenal and Trident Shipyard, knowing how many secrets these two companies held, secrets that were unsuited to appear on United States soil.

Coupled with the suggestions from the scientists in the research warehouses, his boss intended to turn the Turks and Caicos Islands into Venus Bank's secret research base!

"Boss, there's one more thing to consider!"

Donnie pointed to the chair in front of him, gesturing for Henry Daryl to sit, and asked: "What else?"

Henry Daryl sat down and said: "Pirates. Even though the Turks and Caicos Islands only have a few islands with indigenous people, according to information from United States Logistics, many pirate organizations are likely hiding within these small islands."
