Alpha’s Obsession, Luna’s Revenge:

Chapter 1: 1: At The Police Station

Selene's POV

I was at a place, that was not my place, the place where I was least expected to be – the Police Station.

I, Luna Selene, could do no more than drown in shame while the fires of vengeance ignited my soul again.

I had grown up being addressed honorifically. When I was young, they called me Princess Selene. Now I was Queen Luna Selene or a Luna.

I vowed as I had a hundred times already before, that I would burn the Northern Territory to ashes.

The cops brought me here on a mere suspicion but the enormity of the crime was clear to me. I made up my mind not to speak a word.

"Madam, where were you at the time of this gruesome crime?"

"When I woke up this morning, you people grabbed me and brought me here. What crime are you talking about? I don't even know what happened," I feigned surprise

And then I blurted out loudly. I was yelling and howling.

"You silly fools, you can't show the slightest respect to a lady. That too ….. Do you know, who am I? A Luna! Bloody sons of bi….do you know, who my husband is?"

The cops looked at me surprised. They could not have thought I was so innocent as I appeared.

"Do you mean to say, you do not know why we have brought you here? Oh, really! Don't tell me!"

I was not just a ferocious Luna but also a great actor. I was charming. I could make a thousand expressions at my will.

I looked at the cops, wide-eyed one by one and then thumped the table as hard as I could; "How the hell do you think I know? And don't forget, you are in my territory. I see it as a huge injustice to not just any ordinary person but the royal queen of the Northern Territory.

The cops were scared now. They didn't know how to respond.

I was speaking with authority making them tremble in fear.

I looked at all of them one by one. They were all timid except one. This was Inspector Allison. He had the cheeks to continually stare at me.

"Who do you think, you are? Will you tell me why I am here?" I shouted at Allison holding him by his collar.

For a moment, Inspector Allison felt intimidated and taken in by surprise, but he was brave. He immediately shrugged my hand away and looked at me violently.

I immediately understood he was going to be the biggest hurdle in my plans. He appeared not only violent but also strong, and powerful.

I instantly decided this Omega didn't deserve to remain an Omega. I had a low opinion of Omegas. Everyone except a handful of elites was omega in my territory.

I was a Luna, who could love and hate with equal ferocity. I decided the fate of everyone in my pack because my Alpha husband Mark Donell doted on me. He never defied my wishes.

Whenever I made love to him, it used to be wild and ferocious. He loved every moment of it and in the end, he would fall tired, and drained of his energy while I exulted over my victory each night.

But right now, I have zeroed in on Inspector Allison. I could see he was getting too big for his boots, and I needed to show him his place.

I could not do anything now at this moment. A wrong step and everything I had so assiduously built over the years would crash down within moments.

I was also suspicious about whether Allison knew my intentions. I wondered why he was so rude when everyone bowed down to me.

I wanted to subdue him first before I could tame him the way I wanted.

"Inspector Allison!" I howled, "Would you care to explain why I am here? What are the charges framed against me?"

"We haven't made any charges so far, madam, but we intend to after an intensive questioning. Now will you please answer politely where were you at the time of the crime?"

I immediately understood, I was dealing with a toughie and it was not as easy to crack him as I had thought first. But I had decided, he had to go the way others had.to go.

Since I was not sure, how much information Inspector Allison had, I tried to fire a guessing shot in the air: "Inspector Allison, do you realize, it is a grave crime to put a person of Royal descent in custody just on suspicion?" I howled in anger.

I leaned on the table resting both my hands on it. I bent as low as I could to show my tight cleavage to Inspector Allison, who barely cared to take his bloodshot eyes anywhere else so long as he looked straight into my eyes confidently

All my yelling and howling made no difference to Allison. He was now beginning to intimidate me.

Earlier, I thought, I might subdue him. The reckless looks in his eyes both intimidated me and attracted me towards him.

I knew, the more I argued with him, the more I would lose my dignity.

I knew it was best to keep quiet and watch the show.

Unfortunately, my folks it appears deserted me and left me to the mercy of these shameless cops, who cared the least for my dignity.

It was clear to me by now that it must be my father-in-law, the retired Alpha patriarch of Northern Territory, William Wolf, who had instigated cops to bring me here, the most undignified place for questioning me.

Even as I was thinking about how to deal with this toughie, he received a phone call from someone. " Yes, and please don't touch anything. I am coming soon," he said

"Please wait for me here, till I come back and please cooperate with my men. For me, duty is the first thing. I don't give a fuck about royalties," he said looking at me viciously with those hate-filled eyes.

I didn't know, how long they were going to keep me there.

It was puzzling to me actually as to why no one among the thousands of staff and acolytes neither chaperoned me, stood by my side, nor came here to see me.

I didn't speak a word. This was the time to keep my fury under control. It had to be preserved for the glorious ends when I anticipated the universe would celebrate my victory.
