Bjorn and Cathy are currently in the dungeon

To be specific, they are on the 9th floor of the dungeon.

In their surroundings are tons and tons of Killer ants corpses. They are currently being gutted out by a cat woman who was smiling maniacally. 

The cat woman, Cathy, is currently humming a song, whilst Bjorn is risking his life killing the fucking ants.

Yes, Bjorn is currently killing and killing and killing tons of killer ants… The total killer ants that Bjorn had killed is close to a thousand already…. 

He always wonders where the fuck does the fucking dungeon gets this much monsters…. He has theories but… those are not enough to satisfy his curiosity. 

Another thing to note…. He always wonders what the fucking grudge does the dungeon have with him… It always sends droves and droves of monsters wherever he is…. 

Thanks to that, he already had high stats…. For reference, all of his stats right now are all stuck at S999…. Save for Magic which is S950… He needed something like a breakthrough to breakthrough to SS stats…. And breakthrough it is…

Once Bjorn finished the wave…. They heard rumblings that are becoming stronger and stronger as time passes by…

"What is that?"

Cathy asked, while still gutting out killer ant corpses…. She stopped for a while to observe the surroundings but… she continued gutting out again…

"Hmm? I do not know… But it is coming towards us…"

"Well…. You'll handle it again this time right?"

"Hmm maybe....?"

After a while, the rumbling intensified… and a large silhouette can be seen in the distance…. 

"What…. The… fuck…. Is that...…?"

Cathy was shocked… and once the silhouette became recognizable… Cathy was more shocked… In contrast, Bjorn is silent and calm… He knew that being calm is the answer right now....

The monster in front of them is a killer ant.... But a fucking large killer ant.....

It was big…. Like 6 meters big. Its width is at least 4 meters….

Cathy immediately grabbed her phone to capture a video…. 

Supporters are mandated to get a video every time they encounter a new species… and in front of them is definitely a new species…

"Hmm.."

The ant rampantly approaches Bjorn… It didn't notice the corpses of its kinsmen around the human… since its sole focus is on the human itself…

Bjorn stood still… His stance is his usual stance, which has his sword pointed downwards to the right.

Once the large ant is close to Bjorn, it immediately brandishes its mandibles towards Bjorn… It was ready to cut the feeble human in front of it… However, Bjorn will not give it the satisfaction of cutting him.

Bjorn immediately ducked… 

The mandibles cut just above Bjorn… 

Meanwhile, Bjorn immediately spun towards the left, he then slashed upwards, aiming to cut the mandibles…. But…

A resounding metal sound sounded throughout the cavern… 

Bjorn's sword was pushed back…. 

Betraying Bjorn's expectations, the mandibles were really hard…. Like really really hard… 

Bjorn immediately jumped backwards, since one of the legs of the ant rushed past him…

He immediately readied himself.. He composed himself and thought of a way to cut past the hard carapace of the ant… He first needed to cripple it…

Meanwhile, the ant rushed towards him. It was fast since its steps are large…

[Burst]

Bjorn bursted towards the right, aiming to cut the ant's leg… but… the leg was only dented… 

The ant shrieked… It was hurting… It craves for blood… the blood of the enemy in front of it….

"Tsk!"

Bjorn was a little bit disappointed… Normally, he could cut through monsters no matter how thick their skin or carapace was…. But this… 

The ant quickly turned around towards Bjorn and lunged forward…

Bjorn thought of an amazing idea… Bjorn immediately ducked forward, with his face close to the floor, and ran forward. He then spun his sword upwards towards the underbelly of the ant… 

[Burst]

It was kinda effective… 

The insides of the ant's belly scattered… but it was not enough to fully kill the ant… 

As soon as the ant knew that the enemy was below it… it immediately attempted to crush the human by bending its legs… 

Bjorn, feeling that the ant would crush him, immediately sidestepped… He then slashed again but… his sword was bounced back again…

Bjorn jumped backwards again… attempting to gain range but… the ant was persuasive… It rushed towards Bjorn again…

This time, Bjorn was ready… He will try to slash its underbelly again this time.

It would work against normal enemies but… this ant… it was learning…

The ant rushed towards Bjorn again but… instead of lunging, it spat out a chemical substance in the air, towards Bjorn… it immediately burned Bjorn and at the same time, blinded him… His senses… gone… replaced with pain.

[Burst]

Bjorn bursted backwards, but…

"Ack!"

… he hit a wall… 

Bjorn spatted out blood… He was hurting… his face… his back… hell even his neck… 

He didn't expect that the ant would release something like that… 

"Bjorn! DUCK!!!"

Hearing the voice, Bjorn immediately ducked… He felt rocks falling towards him… so he stepped to the side…

"It's coming! Slash!"

[Burst]

Bjorn immediately slashed. His mind filled his sword.

The ant's head was knocked upwards… It was not slashed but… a considerable dent appeared in its mandibles…

"It's coming again!"

Angered by the dent, the ant attempted to attack again but…

[Burst]

Bjorn jumped, spun, and slashed downwards this time.

The ant was forced to be slammed towards the ground… The middle of its head was dented too… Bjorn then landed on the ant's body.

With his skill, he felt that his sword was close to breaking… 

'You are at its neck! CUT IT!"

Bjorn immediately knew what to do… Mind filled his breaking sword… the mind then turned into a light that bathed Bjorn's sword…

Whilst the ant was still down, he felt the ant's body with his feet to know where the ant's neck would be. 

[Burst]

He then slashed, with all his strength, downwards, towards the left…

The ant attempted to dodge it, by moving forward, making it so that the sword would hit its carapace but… Bjorn's slash was fast.

Immediately, the ant's neck was cut off…. Its head flew outwards, landing on a distance away from him…

Bjorn breathed hard… It was tough. Tougher than fighting a group of monsters….

He then felt that his supporter was running towards him… 

"Hey! Hey! Stay with me! You are my cash cow!! I just got a new apartment so don't die on me!"

Bjorn softly laughed at her. He then felt a cold sensation, a liquid, falling down towards his face… It was the potion.. Cathy, doused Bjorn with a total of 10 potions…

After a few seconds, Bjorn can see again… Any pain he felt previously was now gone… The potions worked.

Cathy immediately hugged Bjorn.

"I thought you'd be dead…."

Bjorn hugged back. He almost lost his life…. Without Cathy, he should've died… 

"Thank you…"

"Let's go! We also need to report this to the guild…"

"Alright. Let's get the cores fast, then let's bounce."

Bjorn left the hug, whilst Cathy went towards the corpses of the monsters and gutted them.

Bjorn, himself, sat down atop the ant's head.

He reflected on what he did wrong during the battle… on what he should've done… He then looked towards the ant's head and said…

"Damn you."
