Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World

Chapter 149: Towards Chaos Heaven Peak

Another week slipped by in the blink of an eye, and Yu Xuan spent nearly all of it doing one thing — training, training, and more training.

For some reason, he found himself unusually focused on training these days. The cause was unclear, but cultivation felt easier than ever before.

His skill, [Ultra Instinct], was a major factor.

It was like having a supercomputer wired into his mind, processing countless streams of data in an instant. With it, cultivation felt almost unfair — so effortless it bordered on cheating.

Yet Yu Xuan remained cautious. He deliberately held himself back, resisting the urge to break through recklessly.

What he wanted was not a rushed ascent, but a foundation so solid that even the heavens would tremble at its weight or so, he hoped, that after establishing a strong foundation lightning tribulation would descend, making his already strong physique more stronger.

By now, he had fully familiarized himself with his new realm, the fresh power flowing steadily through his veins.

He also didn't forget to train his other skills and techniques. He wanted to become "Master of all trades, Jack of none."

Anyways, he was a cultivator now, so having a long lifespan also counted.

After a bath, refreshed and calm, Yu Xuan dressed neatly. It was time — first, to meet his master, and then to finally depart for his sister's peak.

Like that, he made his way to the his master's palace.

"Remember, you must return within three months," the Elemental Heaven Peak Master instructed.

Her gaze sharpened, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "And no matter what, believe me — I am always watching you."

"Yes, Master." Yu Xuan bowed respectfully, though those words sounded ominous.

Earlier, they had shared a light conversation about his cultivation progress, and she had casually inquired about his sister, expressing interest in meeting her.

Yu Xuan, oblivious to the deeper intent, happily agreed. In his mind, if his master and sister grew familiar, that would only be a good thing.

What he didn't realize was that it was a subtle move of politics. His master understood very well: if Yu Xuan was already this monstrous, how terrifying would his sister's potential be? Somewhat similar right. She didn't knew him that personally.

If she could lure that girl under her wing as well, it would be a tremendous gain. Poaching disciples wasn't exactly her specialty, but for once, she was willing to give it a try.

"Master, I'll take my leave now," Yu Xuan said.

"Alright." The Peak Master clapped her hands lightly.

At once, space around Yu Xuan warped and twisted. In the blink of an eye, he stood in the middle of a bustling square. To his surprise, even though he had just appeared out of thin air, no one spared him a glance.

"Which town is this, Master?" Yu Xuan asked.

"This is the True Central Area of the sect. When you first arrived, you entered from the outer ring here — an area reserved for newcomers. But this," she gestured around them, "is the true central hub, where disciples from every peak gather to compete and display their strength."

That still didn't explain why he felt like a ghost here.

Reading his expression, the Peak Master added with a knowing smirk, "I veiled your presence for now. You'll become visible again in about a minute. As for getting to Chaos Heaven Peak — I tampered with your medallion. Consider it a privilege for being my disciple. Normally, you would need paperwork to travel between peaks, but now you can move freely. Thank me later."

Before Yu Xuan could reply, his master's figure had already vanished.

Yu Xuan slapped his forehead. Of course — he had completely forgotten about the paperwork. Without her intervention, just getting the permit would have cost him a few extra days.

Having a Peak Master as backing was basically like walking around with a living discount card.

Not only did it save him time, it also spared him the detour he had planned, visiting the familiar town near his peak and then using the Teleportation Formation to reach the central area.

As an inner disciple, teleportation was technically free for him — at least until he burned through his allotted uses.

But he still wondered when he would finally be acknowledged as his master's official disciple.

At the moment, he was only under the wing of her clone. If he performs the disciple ceremony and became her true disciple, his status would surely leap to an entirely different level, though it would be in the real sect not in this mini realm as the Artifact Spirit Tianling had called.

His thoughts drifted again to the sheer scale of the sect. The more he explored, the more he realized how vast it truly was. He has a sharp memory, yet every step only revealed more immensity, as if the sect itself was a world within a world.

"The time is nearing." Yu Xuan said, though no one listened to him, he was so lost in thought, that the time limit was approaching when he would be visible again. He just hoped some bad person would not learn this to commit crimes.

His thoughts were very hero like, the one from his dreams who would be returning soon.

He bowed toward the empty air where his master had stood, then made his way to a quieter corner where his sudden appearance wouldn't draw suspicion. Clearly nobody would like it, when a person magically appeared in front of them.

Moments later, his presence returned to the eyes of the crowd.

A drunken man nearby staggered, pointing at him with wide eyes. "Hiccup… hey see ghost!"

His drinking companion squinted at Yu Xuan's face, handsome enough to rival a fairy and sneered with disdain.

"Did you change your gender? No matter how pretty a boy is, this is just… tch." He shook his head and sighed.

Meanwhile, the drunk kept insisting Yu Xuan was a ghost, starting a loud, slurred argument.
