Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 246: Clash of ideal 1

At the Federation...

The royal siblings gathered together once more, but this time, they were the only ones present. Darwin and Mai were absent.

"How was it, everyone?" Theron asked his siblings as they all sat down at a round table. They were in a more secretive room, and their expressions ranged from confusion to lingering fear. It was clear that each of them had something to say.....something their ancestors had told them.

"Guys... I spoke with the ancestor of the Hollowind family," Lyssandra began, her voice trembling with fear.

All eyes turned to her as she continued.

"I told him what we found, but the reply I got... the reply I got... It seems they already knew about the Forefathers. He told me he was aware and then he just left," Lyssandra said, prompting a sharp gasp from Theron.

If the ancestors knew, then why didn't they do anything? Why didn't they stop the senseless slaughter? Even the aristocrats were following this method killing off potential powerhouses of humanity.

"Same for me... But the difference is, my grandfather said we shouldn't even be aware of this," Vaelen added.

"The ancestor of the Brojik family knew too," another sibling said.

"For me, it was the same..."

"I spoke to mine, and it's the same result..."

Caius, Seraphina, and Darius all spoke at once. From their words, Theron began piecing everything together.

"Basically, what we can conclude is that the ancestors knew about this... yet said nothing. Why?" Theron asked aloud.

Vaelen sighed and offered an explanation.

"My grandfather said some of the Forefathers are still alive and the ancestors don't want to alert them."

Boom.

Everyone stared at Vaelen in stunned silence. Suddenly, it all made sense. Why would the ancestors allow the deaths of talented individuals, ones who could save humanity?

The answer: because some of the Forefathers are still alive.

Not all of them were dead or perhaps they were simply pretending to be.

It was as if they had opened a door to secrets they were never meant to uncover.

"This is serious... Are the Forefathers really so powerful that even our ancestors fear them?" Caius asked, as a heavy silence settled over the room.

"The real question is what are we going to do?" Darius asked, and everyone looked at each other, the weight of the revelation sinking in.

At the Dreadborne Organization...

Dared entered a room he hadn't visited since arriving. Inside, he saw a being mechanical in appearance, yet alive staring at him.

"Oh... I remember," the being said with a chuckle. Flesh grew over its form until it resembled a living, breathing human.

Dared tilted his head in shock. What is this? Morphing?

"Who... who are you?" Dared asked, stunned.

"Oh, my bad. I'm one of the Chains. Just call me Alayot," the being said with a smile, sending Dared's mind racing.

One of the Chains? Isn't that one of the powerhouses of the Dreadborne Organization? Why is he here? For what reason?

"You're about to break through to the Galaxy Realm, aren't you?" Alayot asked.

Dared's eyes widened in shock. How does he know?! Still, he nodded.

"Yes, you're correct," Dared replied as Alayot smiled knowingly.

"Forget how I knew," Alayot said, his grin deepening. It felt like he could read Dared's very thoughts. "But if you're about to break through, this place isn't the right one."

Not here? What does he mean? Dared thought, looking at Alayot.

"Where should I go?" he finally asked.

"You're going to the territory of the Demon Race in this multiverse," Alayot said.

Dared's face was filled with shock. Though Alayot gave him no more than the location, the idea itself was enough to leave Dared stunned and deeply curious.

"A ship will take you there shortly. But first... the soul inside you who is it?" Alayot asked as dared paused, his heart skipping a beat.

So far, no one knew about Azerak. And now, suddenly, one of the Chains had exposed him.

Will they kill me? Kill Azerak? Punish us? Detain us? Dared thought, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty.

Alayot watched Dared's face shift from shock about the Demon Race, to fear about his secret.

"He knows about me?!" Azerak, too, was stunned. He had been certain that even beings at the multi-universal level couldn't detect him.

And yet, Alayot could?

"Azerak, what now?" Dared asked, unsure. Even though the Dreadborne were suspicious, Azerak had helped him especially by granting him access to a cultivation realm.

"I don't know, boy..." Azerak replied, equally shaken.

It raised the question: What exactly is the Dreadborne Organization?

"What's your name?" Alayot asked, staring straight into Dared.

Dared could see him looking but he could feel it, too. Alayot wasn't just looking at him he was looking inside him.

"Azerak," a deep voice responded.

Dared screamed in agony, clutching his head as a splitting pain tore through him his very soul being ripped apart. He wasn't wrong.

For Azerak to reside inside Dared, their souls had been merged. And now, they were being forcibly separated. But Azerak's soul was ancient and powerful, while Dared's was young still in the Planetary Realm.

The pain was unimaginable.

"Aaaaah!" Dared cried out, writhing on the ground.

Alayot observed calmly.

Azerak? He hadn't heard that name before.

"Perhaps a hidden powerhouse... I'll have to speak with Linkir about this," Alayot mused, as the soul separation neared completion.

Thud.

Dared collapsed to the floor, gasping for air.

In the dimly lit room elegant in its simplicity his labored breaths were the only sound. Sweat poured down his body.

Before him stood a translucent being half real, half ethereal staring at Alayot.

"How did you find me?" Azerak asked, his voice calm but tense.

Alayot chuckled.

"Because I wield the Law of Soul," he answered.

******************†*********************†***********

Tell me which character are you rooting for , Theron ? Caius ? Dared or who ?

Also don't get confused guys

Void is currently at the abyss fighting the angels while this is the multi universe the dreadborne organisation is. Basically he left the post for his slaves/generals to take control in this multi universe.

Any questions?
