A Tale of Fire and water

One month has gone. Since began my physical development program, I've been jogging five kilometres every day, lifting enormous stone blocks, and performing pushups, squats, and pressups.

As I ponder on myself, I understand that my body has grown stronger, and I was eager to continue my fight against Anos.

As I was training one morning, the forest with its trees having having green leaves appeared serene, the air was fresh, there was some dew on the trees, and there was a cool breeze.

I knew I had chosen the greatest area to practise because no one would bother me, but out of nowhere, a man about 20 years old approached me. I was anxious since I didn't know where he came from.

He resembled neither a demon nor a person; who is he? I was curious since his outfit included unusual motifs that I had never seen before.His eyes and hair were white and he held up a large stick with a blue flashing ball on top.

"Who are you and what do you want?"I questioned impolitely, braced for a fight, knowing he was someone I had never seen before and may be violent, so I kept my distance and guard up.

"Can you fight?" He asked me with a serious expression on his face, as if he couldn't let me go away without a fight.

I was shivering with nervousness, but I didn't want to be called a weakling because I'd been only training my body for a month and knew I couldn't fight .

 "Yes, I can fight," I replied horrified, but my goal was to test my body.

"Alright, give me what you got then," the man said.

As we were five metres away from each other,i quickly attaked head on as usually,My two hands were severed before they could strike the attacker, despite my heroic attempts to strike him. I was surprised as I didn't see him with a blade or knife, and I couldn't see how he launched his attack. I was confused and in pain, he aslo cut off both of my legs as I lay down. I was afraid I was going to die.Before I closed my eyes, I saw the man who killed me asking himself some questions.Considering his plans.

Ahhhh! I was startled awake by the unreal dream that I had been murdered.

"It was a dream," I mumbled as I looked about, thinking I was dreaming until I noticed I was sleeping under a tree.

"It wasn't a dream," abruptly said the weird looking man.

I sprang into a fighting position as soon as I could, searching all sides since I didn't see anything I thought its was my imagination I heard that weird looking man sound,so I acted relaxed.

The man jumped down from the tree that I was sleeping under. As i saw him,the idea that he would kill me startled me, so I said, "Please spare me my life, I'm still young."

"Who said I was gonna kill you?" he enquired.

"You almost killed me in our last fight," I responded.

"I'm sorry for frightening you," the man said, and his attitude seemed to have changed; he appeared brighter than when we were fighting.And appeared to be guilty for what he had done to me, I had no choice but to forgive him. "Apologies accepted" I closed that topic.

"Anyway, who are you, what kind of skills were that, and how come I am alive? I swear you cut off my hand and legs," I said, no cease checking my body for any injuries, and discovered that I had none.I approached him staring at his dress design, which I had never seen before, and his odd stick.

"Can you stop that!"shouted the weird looking man.

I had to stop what I was doing to listen to him, before he changed his mind and decided to murder me.

"Finally, I can introduce myself.My name is Merlin, and I am the guardian of humanity. From now on, I will be under your orders. My duty is to help my monarch succeed in his quest by any means necessary." Said the weard looking guy

"Who me?"I was shocked hearing what he gentleman just said; I believed humans had no guardians, but the way this guy look it's like he's the real deal there was no way he wasn't a guardian,but serving under my order is something I didn't expect, and why me? It's not like I'm something unusual. A lot of questions started ringing in my head, but I forced myself to calm down.

"Yes you my king"added Merlin as he bowed to me.

"Come on get up,I think you got the wrong guy,there is no way someone like me is a king just look at me"i said while giving a hand Merlin to stand up.

"There is no way I am mistaken,you are the chosen hero for humanity"insisted Merlin

"Chosen,hero for humanity you say,I wished I was,but a weakling like me could never be a hero,am just an ordinary human."I said

"My liege on your right hand there is a mark that shows half water and half fire, i know you were born with it" stated Merlin ,I was curious to learn more about this mark since it was something i was born with and couldn't ignore,I indicated him to continue. "In my opinion, I believe your abilities are to use fire as a weapon, which is a unique skill only given to the hero of humanity and the future king of the humans. And as for me,my duty is to teach you how to use that power and make you stronger than any of the other races, crushing all of our enemies one by one by,to save your people,you just need to believe in yourself"explained Merlin in a serious expression.

"i see,Alright then I've decided,I will save humanity"I answered happily, it was something I had always wanted to do but because I lacked power and was even afraid to speak back even to demon soldiers, but it's different with the help of Merlin's guidance, I would be able to grow stronger,to protect my people. I never imagined that I would be the hero that the humans had been waiting for, I accepted it and promised myself that I would complete my mission no matter what.
