A Student with Multiverse Chat Group

[ Rei's POV ]

As I watched Yuuma aka Raynare runaway with a shy expression on her face, I walked to my little brother to 'congratulate' for his new achievement, only if it's for a short span of time.

"Issei, who was she? And why did she ran away from you?" I asked the future Red Dragon Emperor, who was in a trance with stupid smile on his face. I think he has still not returned back to earth. Pinching him hard on his waist, caused him to scream loudly and rub his sides, giving me a surprised look.

"Rei? When did you get here?" asked Issei, being totally unaware that I was standing beside him for over a minute. How did he get even chosen as the host of Red Dragon Emperor still amazes me to this day. Did God overestimate his potential?

I replied while we continued to walk back to home, "I was returning back to the home, after the study session in the Occult club room and found you standing here all by yourself with a weird smile, while that girl was runnig away. Did something good happen with you?"

"Hehe, I know you won't believe me, but I finally got a girlfriend. The girl that you saw running away, was the one, who proposed to me. I am feeling so happy today! I can't wait to tell my bros and mom and dad too. They will be surprised by listening to this" replied Issei scratching back of his head, with an embarassed expression on his face.

"Really? That's wonderful" I replied in 'surprise', which caused him to puff his chest in confidence, as if he has achieved the biggest feat of his life.

"Say Rei, don't you want to have a girlfriend as well. I can ask Yuuma to introduce her friends to you" said Issei pumping fist to his chest. What does he mean by getting a girlfriend? It's sounding like he is introducing something me to buy. I have no plans of having a girlfriend right now or in near future. Who want to get robbed of the opportunity of flirting with beautiful females across the world. To me, getting into a relationship will just stagnate me and as a descendant of harem lord, I can't settle for one woman in this harem world. That would be heresy!

"You don't have to worry yourself over something like this. Besides, I am more into girls who are older than me. So don't bother asking for arranging a date with your new girlfriend's friends" I replied to pull him back to the reality, before he was thinking so far ahead of his relationship with Yuuma.

On our way, he was keep talking about his and Yuuma's future together. Their marriage, kids and old age, I was keep pulling him back to not go so far, or else he would suffer more when he finds about the reality of this whole situation. Sigh, I need to think of something, or else he would end up in a deep depression.

Reaching at the home, he asked me to withheld this information to myself and let him tell this by himself. He didn't even revealed about his new girlfriend to mom, and waited for the dinner to reveal this good news to both of them. We waited for dad's return while watching the DXD version of DBZ anime on television.

Dad was at the home at his usual time, since his overtime was done yesterday surprisingly. It all feels like too much of a coincidence that it's scaring me to think, that protagonist's control with the plot was so great, that everything was falling into the place for him, or maybe I am just overanalyzing this whole situation.

"Mom, dad. I am in a relationship" announced Issei all of a sudden, while we were having dinner together with mom and dad. Both of them stopped abruptly and then dad smiled at him, taking his words as a joke and

"It's totally fine to not have a girlfriend in highschool. Me and your mom, met each other in college years and ever since we are together. Good old days" replied dad to assure Issei, that he was totally fine with him being single till now, I don't understand what's so fuss about getting a girlfriend. Getting into a relationship is out of my love life directory.

No one believed his words and why would they? He had bragged about being popular with girls in the school couple of times until Sona called at home about his perverted antics and getting beaten up by the kendo girls. Ever since both of them never believed a word about him getting along with girls. He kinda brought it upon himself.

When he saw that he wasn't taken serious for his revelation, he turned to me and used me as his witness, "If you don't believe me, then ask Rei. He was there when she asked me to become her boyfriend. Tell them Rei"

Now everyone had their eyes on me. Sigh! I feel sorry for Issei, witnessing this whole scene with my very own eyes., in the end, he is going to be broken pretty badly. But for now, let him have this fun till it lasts.

"He is telling the truth. I saw him getting approached by the girl and now they are in a relationship" I replied.

Now there was a look of shock and surprise on both of their faces. That's what happens when you never tell lies to the other person, had he told them about his girlfriend today, they would have reacted the same way like this.

Mom was dropping tears of joy, and praising Issei for being in a relationship. It's a rare sight to see mom and dad, celebrating the son getting into relationship. Dad was smiling like a proud dad watching his son made it in life. Meanwhile I was enjoying this scene with both joy and sadness, don't know how to react this whole situation.

"I am proud of you Issei, I thought we would be seeing the grandkids through Rei, but with this news, you've made me happy for the lifetime" with this remark of dad, I almost choked on the food. Issei had embarassed expression on his face, listening to dad's remark, and mom went to the kitchen picking up the plates with a big smile on her face.

After the dinner, dad gave him some manly tips on how to sail this relationship into a successful one. He taught him the other codes of conduct, even which I took notes for future referrence. I have never thought, he would have researched so deeply into this relationship stuff.

"Yuuma" "Yuuma" "Yuuma"

Issei went upstairs to his room, while repeating his new 'girlfriend' name with a big smile on his face. It looks like he is going to be like that till next morning. Mom and dad, left to their room, while I stayed back to watch television.

If I only could tell him that he was dancing on his own grave. If I would have approached by her, I would have probably been a bit resistant to her request. Proposing to someone you've never met is a pretty strange phenomenon, and I have yet to see something like that happen in my life.

Watching the television for half an hour, I went back to my room to get some rest. My whole body was aching in pain from morning training session and rest of hassle in whole day, and there is also something I need to take care of up at the church in few hours, when everyone fall into the sleep.

Throwing myself at the bed, I opened the chat group to see what's going on in there. Last time it was Yuji who was the only one to be online, that guy is too much of a free guy, whenever I go online, he is online too.

[[ Itadori: I thought you were living in Japan as well, Bang. Tell us about the Z city ]]

[[ Bang: It's a place where normal humans live with each other like yours and everyone. But there are heroes who are divided on the basis of their ranks, who fight monsters that disturb the peace and cause harm to people. There are some heroes who have supernatural powers, while some don't ]]

[[ Itadori: So amazing! ]]

[[ Rei: Hii everyone ]]

[[ Itadori: Rei, you're back! How are you doing? ]]

[[ Rei: I am doing great, Itadori. How was your mission? ]]

[[ Itadori: I got trolled by my Sensei saying we will be visiting Roppongi for mission, but ended up in an abandoned building, where me and Nobara, new friend, killed the curse hiding there. But it's all fine, since he is treating us with nice food at the restaurant ]]

[[ Rei: Your sensei seems like a funny guy. I want to meet him someday ]]

[[ Itadori: Well I can agree that he is a funny guy, but don't trust him if he tells you that he is going to take you on a trip to great place ]]

[[ Bang: I heard from Itadori, that you're a powerful individual who is allied with devils. You're not doing evil sacrifices and killing people are you? ]]

[[ Rei: Not at all. The devils in this world are wonderful people to hang around with. Right now I am friends with two devil heiresses, with whom I am very close and on a good relationship. They overlook the town of humans, while protecting them from other devils who are evil ]]

[[ Itadori: See I told you, Bang. Rei is not an evil person and if he was, then chat group wouldn't have added him in the first place. Don't you think? ]]

[[ Bang: What you're saying does makes sense. So what do you do in your everyday life Rei? ]]

[[ Rei: I am a highschool student in 3rd year, who takes mission for killind evil devils who try to harm humans living in this town. What about you, Bang? ]]

[[ Bang: I teach my martial art to the students at my Dojo, while I am also a hero who protects the people living in town ]]

[[ Itadori: Can you teach me too! I am feeling left out in this group, with no superpowers. Your martial arts must be special if you're a hero, ain't it Bang ]]

[[ Bang: It is special and I call it Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, I have no problem teaching it to you, as long as you don't have evil intentions towards others ]]

[[ Rei: Teach me too, when we are on our first quest. I love martial arts ]]

[[ Bang: That's good. I want to see the dedication in you guys once we meet each other, while I teach both of you this martial art ]]

[[ Itadori: Yes Sir! ]]

[[ Rei: Well, I'll talk to you guys later. There is some business I need to take care of, you guys carry on ]]

Every time I leave the chat group after talking with the members, I feel more energised surprisingly. A good interaction with people definitely lifts up the mood and that's why I enter this place, after I am done dealing with the hard tasks of day.

I was getting more and more interested in talking with Bang and Itadori, but it was already one hour, that I have invested in the chat group. There is something I need to deal with tonight or else I would be losing a big opportunity to turn this situation in my favour.

Getting up from my bed, I locked my door from inside, in case mom or dad comes to check up on me. The door being locked will more likely keeps me safe from getting caught. Opening my window, I jumped outside and landed on my feet with my shoes on, that I brought with myself earlier.

I was lucky that my room was on the ground floor, since sneaking out like this is so much helpful. Closing the window, I placed a lightning barrier around it, to prevent any thief to come inside my room, while I'm away. Robberies aren't that often, but why take risk. Coming out of the backyard, I walked outside at the streets.

Not a single individual in sight. The dark night was sparkling with few stars scattered all over the sky and moon illuminating the whole town. It took me few seconds to realize that I was getting swayed by the night view, focusing back on the task, I did a little stretching to get my body warmed up for the upcoming battle.

I was the only one standing in the streets, while the street lights were on. The chilly winds were making me shudder and made me rethink about the choice to use 'this method' or go by walking to the church. Later one, will take a lot of time and will only exhaust the stamina, so it's better to stick with the 'method' to reach there.

Taking a deep breath, I summoned the electricity all around me, not before checking around the area to confirm no one had their eyes on me. With a calm mind, I channeled it to my every muscle and surrounded myself in the aura of lightning. It was like the 'Godspeed' of Killua, that I learned in a span of 1 year..

*Swish*

In just a blink of an eye, I was standing outside the church. It took me 3 seconds to reach here from my home. If I told some nerd about my speed and time that it took me to get here, he will never believe me and will put forth calculations, how it's impossible to reach here in such a short interval of time.

Church huh. I am not sure if they are actually in there, but it's the only place where they reside, while they were in this town. I can no-
