NOVEL NEXT Chapter 5: CH 5
[ Rei's POV ]
What a beautiful morning!
What a privelege to be alive today as well. Thank lord, for another day.
Gratitude is something I am still practicing even in this world. Well I am not a preacher or a nice guy, but I am a firm believer in lord, even though the one of this world is dead. To think, world is continuing even without him, makes me question, if is it true to my previous world as well? No point on thinking about that, since it's the different world that I'm living right now.
Reminding of beautiful, Koneko didn't show up in front of her home like I thought she would. But it would be too much of a coincidence, to meet her, after doing such a thing to her. Seeing her flustered by showing her kindness did bring a smile to my face for a moment, I can't help but pity her to go through such a troubled childhood. Am I repeating this talk again? Oh lord, I need to stop overthinking or else I would go ins-
My thoughts came to an abrupt end, when I saw Tsubaki peeking into a small area between the wall of streets. There supposed to be the place, where people throw garbage, what's intriguing her so much looking at pile of trash so early in the morning?
All of a sudden, a loud voice came from the place, she was peeking into. I also stood beside her, while she was totally unaware about all this. I kept my ear glued to the argument, and noticed the familiar scenarios few days back and came to conclusion, who could it be there.
"It's because of you, I lost my whole family to that devil. How did you escape that place!" that's the voice of piece of shit who left Mio sensei to that devil. What's he doing here with her. I tried to peek in a little and saw both of them arguin wih each other.
"That's none of your concern! And why are you blaming me, when you were the one who sacrificed me for that devil. If it wasn't for him" said Mio sensei shouting at her 'boyfriend' and mumbled last part to looks like my cool entrance really did some magic on her, well that's to be expected from the way and timing on which I showed up, would make anyone hold me in high regards.
This further agitated him and he grabbed her by neck and slammed her on to the wall so hard, that her head colliding with the wall, made a loud sound. How dare this mf do this to an angel like her!
Tsubaki who had enough of that guy's shit, decided to step in, but I was quicker and wasted no time to shine in front of her. There is no way I would let her ruin this golden opportunity to get closer to her.
I ran quickly at the guy and smashed his head with my water bottle hard enough to knock him out. Mio sensei dropped down to her knees to catch breath from the idiot's chokehold earlier. How could someone stoop so low, to attack a person, who had no intention of hurting back.

"Are you alright, Mio sensei?"
" Rei?"
"Come on sensei, I am waiting for the hug to thank me for saving you from that creep. Hurry up, my arms are hurting for holding them-"
All I got was a bonk on head and I just caressed my head and noticed her embarrased and angry expression, "Don't ask for such a thing, when other student is watching us"
Oh I forgot about Tsubaki, also being here. She walked up to us and offered the water to Mio sensei, to ease her up and I turned my head to her 'boyfriend' and just thought how can someone like him get such a beautiful girlfriend like her, while I am fighting filthy monsters and single till now. God is really not good with handing out girlfriends to us boys.
"Sensei, are you alright? Do you want me to call the cops?"
"It's fine, Tsubaki. I don't think he wo-"
"Don't be stupid, sensei. That guy just tried to attack you, who knows what will he do next time when he meets you. So don't put your life at risk for such a lowlife"
My sudden outburst caught both of them by surprise. It wasn't even funny considering what he did to her twice, and taking risk for letting him be free will just add unneccessary troubles in her life and I don't want her to switch schools or probably the town for this creep. I would lose one of two reasons to come school everyday, if she leaves the Kuoh Academy.
I gave a call to cops and waited till they pull over here to throw this creep behind the bars. Walking out of there, I came out to the main street to head towards the school because Sona was waiting for me. Bidding farewell to both of them, I strolled straight to the school to know what was the important thing, she was going to discuss with me.

[ 3rd POV ]
Sona, the other devil heiress, was preparing the list of participants for next week scholarship exams, writing on brobdingnagian desk. In amidst of doing work, she was getting restless when the person she was waiting for, didn't show up till now.
"He is late"
She said all of a sudden, which caused the other person in room to look at her in surprise. He walked upto the Sona, to ask who is she referring to.
"Who are you talking about, President?" asked blonde head in confusion when he heard her sudden proclamation, taking him by surprise.
She turned her to the blonde head, Saji, who was her pawn and replied while fixing her glasses, "Rei Hyoudou. I told him to come here earlier this morning on a call, but he has still not made his appearance here"
"He reaches at the school by this time regularly. I wonder what got him late, today" said Saji arranging the papers in order. He wasn't surprised that Rei was called to come here early in the morning, since it wasn't a rare incident and he was used to see this more than once.
There was a time, when Saji was acting arrogant and talking down to Rei, but he got humbled when he was on a mission with Rei once. Ever since that day, the image of Rei took a shift and respect for him flooded in his eyes. That's a story for the another day.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"Come in" said Sona putting aside the papers to look at the individual, who finally made his appearance.
Rei, who was catching his breath while drenched in sweat, entered the room. He was bombarded with the questions for his late arrival and catching his breath, he replied how he got encountered by Mio sensei and mess that her boyfriend created.
Understanding his whole situation, she sighed and told him to relax on the couch, while Saji brought a glass with juice to him and placed in front of him. Thanking him for the juice, he finished it one go and sighed a breath of relief. Seeing him getting eased up, Sona decided to tell him the reason, why she called him here.
"Fallen angels have entered this town, so try to be careful and don't try to get into fight with them, unless they try to land the first hit on you. Do you understand Rei?" explained Sona to the Rei, who just nodded at her and got up from his spot, picking up his bag. To him, it wasn't a surprise, that they would be making a visit, and also that he will be warned about them by her.
"I will keep that in mind, President and don't worry I won't cause any unneccessary troubles for you" replied Rei, before leaving back to the classroom, since he wasn't used to waste time aside from the main task. Sona who saw him leave, went back to her work and Saji too.

[ Rei's POV ]
Fallen angels are back in town.
I knew she would be telling me that information, because she knows very well, that I have the tendency to get into battle with ones who tries to piss me off. Back to the present moment, I am chatting with Itadori, who is interested in knowing my taste in music.
[[ Itadori: What kind of music you listen to, Rei? ]]
[[ Rei: It depends on my mood, what I am feeling at the moment. There are different playlists on my app, that I listen to. What about you? ]]
[[ Itadori: I listen to hip hop, R&B, etc. but mainly hip hop. I like songs of 50 cent, Jay Z, Eminem, Nas and more. Do you have any favourite artists, that you would like to share? ]]
[[ Rei: I don't know if they're in your world, but here you go. I listen to Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and many more, but they are the top ones, but also sometimes to J Dilla and Nujabes, when I feel stressed from the studies ]]
[[ Itadori:You got a good taste in music, Rei. It's unbelievable to think that there are multiple Japans, I think anime is loved by the every single dimension, so they just exist like this. You live in Japan, me too and also Bang. Japan is a real one, for existing in different worlds, for giving us so many wonderful mangas and anime ]]
[[ Itadori: I've to leave for the mission with my friends. I'll talk to you later and don't forget to give a try to 50 cent discographies ]]
With that, he went offline as well. Seeing no one else online on the chat group, I turned off the blue screen and got up from the seat to pay my bills. Exiting the café, I headed back to home to think about the annihilation plan of fallen angels and subjugating them for making them my servants.
It would be a sight to see them become servants to the one, they hate most. Cutting off that crazy exorcist and fallen angel with hat, the other three are on my priority list to have on my side. I can't let my hate ruin this opportunity to get some valuable individuals on my side.
Well, Freed and the hat dude are useful too, but who want those guys around, when you can beautiful girls around you. Aside from that shitty attitude, which I have plans to deal with, they will become good underlings to my future plans.
As I was getting closer to the bridge, where Issei was standing all alone by himself and cursing his luck to God for not having any love life, I could see Issei getting approached by a girl from another school and I hid behind the tree, to witness the legendary death proposal. Should I kill her right now? No, it's the stupid promise that I made with Sona, to not land a first hit on there is a loophole though, I can talk shit to them to let them land a hit on me, which obviously I am going to dodge.
I only listen to myself over anyone, aside from my parents, since their advices are always for my betterment, unlike the others, who just give advice for the advice sake.
"Would you become my boyfriend!"
The sudden loud voice of the girl, made me smirk internally that it was a surprise on their side, this time. In anime, Issei got the surprise, but this time, I'll be the one who will be giving all of them a surprise, especially her.
