a story of a strong demon

Chapter 15: shushi' s new sword

Shushi wakes up around 12 PM and immediately heads to Muiro's house. There, Muiro has prepared food and is waiting for her to ask what she learned in training and whether Yochiro had dropped her home.

When Shushi reaches Muiro's house, he asks her these questions. Shushi replies, "No, we didn't train all night. Maybe Yochiro lied to you because I was killing demons all night. That's why he didn't tell you. According to me, you don't need to worry about me because as long as Yochiro is with me, no one can touch me."

She adds, "By the way, he gave me a sword. It's specially made for me, and only I can wield it." Muiro says, "That's great! But why did he give you a sword? You're already strong." Shushi replies, "He said that since you keep getting hurt while fighting without a weapon, he gave me this sword." She continues, "Also, I think Yochiro might be Suka because he behaves exactly like him."

Muiro says, "No, it can't be that Yochiro is Suka because he's dead." He continues, "I think you're saying this because you like him." Shushi says, "No, that's not it." Muiro presses, "Come on, tell me the truth." Shushi finally admits, "Yes, I think I've fallen for him. He's very handsome and cool." Muiro says, "I was wondering why you're so happy today. Did you confess your love to him?"

Shushi replies, "No, not yet. But I've thought about it. I'll do it in a few days, once I know more about him." She adds, "Oh, and I forgot to tell you, I killed around 300 demons last night with the sword he gave me. They were wandering near our village." Muiro says, "Wow! Shushi, you killed so many demons! But how did you kill them so quickly? You don't even know how to wield a sword."

Shushi says, "Yochiro trained me today, and I learned a lot. I was able to kill so many demons because the sword is extremely sharp." She continues, "Oh, I almost forgot to show you the sword." She pulls the sword out of its sheath and demonstrates by cutting a spoon. Muiro is amazed by how easily Shushi can wield such a sharp sword and is very happy for her.

Shushi says, "That's why I was able to decapitate the demons so easily. It was so fun that I spent the whole night killing them. And yes, Yochiro did drop me home." Muiro asks, "If you were killing demons all night, why did Yochiro tell me that you were training at his house?" Shushi replies, "What? Did he say that to you? He told me that he had talked to your older brother about it, but he didn't even tell me his home address. That's his mistake, not telling anyone the full story. This reminds me of Suka."

Muiro asks Shushi if she has to train today. Shushi replies, "Yes, Yochiro called me. He won't be taking any breaks for the next 10 days." Muiro tells her, "A powerful demon fighter is coming soon to train you." Shushi says, "He can defeat Yochiro." Muiro says, "Yes, he can defeat Yochiro because his power is equivalent to an upper-rank demon." He adds, "I want to see their fight. It would be so exciting because both are powerful and use immense power. Don't you want to see who is stronger?" Shushi says, "Yes, I want to see that too."

Muiro says, "That demon fighter is very handsome, three times more handsome than Yochiro. I hope the demon fighter wins when they fight." Shushi says, "Why do you want him to win? Yochiro is also very powerful and will never lose." Muiro replies, "Let's see who wins – your Yochiro or the demon fighter."

Shushi asks, "Do you know the name of this powerful demon fighter?" Muiro says, "I know his name, but it's a secret. When he arrives, you can ask him yourself." Shushi says, "Okay. Now I'm going to rest in my room because I have to go to Yochiro for training in a few hours." She leaves to rest, while Muiro stays at the dining table, writing a letter for the powerful demon fighter. He sends the letter through a hawk.
