A Shaman from the Uzumaki Clan in the World of Naruto

Chapter 29: Chapter 29: What? Weak?

"Do you need someone to open it?" The Anbu spoke briefly yet formally, showing the scroll to Reiji.

"Hmm? No need. Thank you for delivering it to me," Reiji replied, taking the scroll with one hand.

"Then I will take my leave now. The Clan Head hopes you can do your best." The Anbu bowed slightly before stepping back.

"Don't worry! I will do my best. Just wait for the results," Reiji said, flashing a thin smile.

Without saying anything further, the Anbu vanished in an instant, leaving Reiji alone with the scroll in his hand.

Reiji stared at the scroll for a moment, his smile slowly turning into a small grin.

"Alright, let's see what the Clan Head has prepared this time," Reiji murmured, closing the door and stepping back inside.

Reiji carefully carried the newly received storage scroll to the living room.

His steps were calm, but there was a bubbling curiosity within him.

Once he arrived, Reiji sat on the floor, unrolling the scroll on the old wooden table.

"Alright, let's see what's hidden inside," Reiji murmured softly before pressing the seal mark on the scroll with his finger. "Open!"

In an instant, the symbols on the scroll glowed bright blue, creating a gentle wind that filled the room.

Thick books, small scrolls, and several documents began to appear one by one, filling the table and even part of the floor around Reiji.

Reiji's eyes widened at the considerable amount.

He paused for a moment, counting in his mind. "Three hundred? Or maybe more?" Reiji murmured, his face reflecting a mix of awe and confusion.

Among the pile, a thin piece of paper caught his attention.

Reiji picked up the paper and read it carefully.

"All of this is just copies? So, no need to worry about tearing or losing them?" Reiji nodded slightly, feeling relieved, but also disappointed.

"Damn. It's just copies? If only all of this were original," Reiji complained, roughly placing the paper back on the table.

"If it were original, I could burn it after reading, so there would be no more nonsense from those fools who don't even understand Fuinjutsu."

Reiji snorted in annoyance before suddenly the voice in his mind responded again.

"Hah, are you planning to create some kind of *shaman spell* with all these strange abilities?" Yamata-no-Orochi asked, his tone full of sarcasm.

"Of course," Reiji replied with a small grin. "After all, I'm better at using *shaman spells* than regular Ninjutsu."

"Hmph! That's only because you're weak," Yamata-no-Orochi retorted in a mocking tone. "It makes no difference, *shaman spells* or those strange abilities. Both are equally weak!"

Reiji chuckled softly, his tone turning mocking. "What? Weak, you say? But these weak abilities can still defeat and kill you, right?"

"You!" Yamata-no-Orochi shouted angrily, his voice echoing like thunder in Reiji's head. "You bastard human!"

"What? That's the truth, isn't it?" Reiji replied playfully, enjoying the monster's angry reaction.

Insult after insult flew relentlessly from Yamata-no-Orochi. "Bastard! Lowly human! Cunning human! Disgusting!"

Reiji did not remain silent.

Reiji responded with the same fervor. "Shut up, stupid monster! Annoying! Useless strange monster!"

The argument lasted several minutes, filling Reiji's subconscious with their clashing voices like a small war.

Yet amidst all that, a small smile appeared on Reiji's face.

Even though Reiji often argued with Yamata-no-Orochi, he knew very well that the monster's power was an invaluable asset.

Finally, Reiji took a deep breath and calmed his mind. "Enough, Yamata-no-Orochi. We have a lot of work to do," Reiji said softly.

"Hmph," Yamata-no-Orochi snorted in annoyance but chose to remain silent.
