A Different Smallville

"So, Leo. You mentioned not wanting a harem, but you seem to pick up new members left and right."

Sitting at the dinner table once more, Leonardo had his head in his hands once more. The one that was accusing him was Aurora who was giggling as if she found this whole situation amusing. Since the members grew once again.

Among the table now was another woman who just scratched her cheek awkwardly. It was more done on a whim and current thought then planned. Since the one that freshly joined was Vala who didn't leave alongside everyone else.

It had been a week since Leonardo and Clark sent the Kryptonian clones off the planet. Which went pretty well since most of them agreed. The only ones who disagreed were General Zod and his most loyal followers who wanted to fight and slaughter.

However, they were quickly suppressed and off they went to what will become New Krypton or at least Leonardo hopes will be New Krypton. It just much to Leonardo and Clark's surprise Vala stayed behind and blushed in embarrassment. The reason she stayed was because she accidentally stood too close to Leonardo unconsciously as she planned to hug them before leaving. It's just the portal was open and closed within a blink of an eye.

Then in the following days, Vala just hung out with Leonardo and the other girls. Since she was unsure what she wanted to do, they could probably figure a way for her to go to New Krypton after a while. However, she hasn't really shown a look of going or even staying. Then the next thing Leonardo knew was a new member at the table.

'Why does she even want to join this table?' Leonardo thought with a mental sigh.

It's not that he hated her, but for some reason he was unable to understand these women's thoughts. He can read body language, predict their actions to a high degree and use his skills to dig out information. However, he just didn't understand what was so appealing about himself or why they were ok tossing him around.

For dates it is usually either a breakfast, lunch or dinner and a night out once in a while. Since he tends to be fairly busy and they all have their own busy schedules. After all, most of the women here either run a business or work in a high position managing various projects within one.

On top of that, he didn't know what was so good about him. He didn't think he was that handsome nor charismatic.

"Well, I know we haven't known each other long, but thank you for letting me join." Vala said.

"You say that, but I am worried when we all are pregnant can he handle our mood swings." Alia sighed.

"It won't be that bad, well I don't think I was that bad." Liz said, holding her face in her hand. "Then again I spent most of my time swapping between crying and tracking Leonardo down to beat him up."

"Why didn't you?" Future Alia asked.

"Because, I knew if I saw him again, I would turn into a putty. That night was so amazing I can't help it. While that feeling faded a bit after Sheldon was born, I kept seeing articles of him appearing in the paper. So I felt it would be a bit bad to show up with a child and I didn't know where he lived in Gotham.' Liz explained. "Then when I did, it was shot up before I even could go."

"Then why did you agree to…join this union?" Vala asked.

Leonardo felt weird hearing it called a union, but that apparently kryptonian slang for harems. It wasn't wrong in a sense but when he hears the word union, he just thinks of a large group. So Leonarod always pictured a football field scene full of women that all joined this harem.

Brushing away such imaginations, Leonardo sat at the head of the table as the women began to sort out the smaller details so as to lower the jealousy and do's and don'ts. The rules weren't out there, but it's more so limit or eliminate in fighting among them.

"So the next question is, who is going to the highschool reunion with me?" Leonardo asked.

"I got no interest." Raya jumps ship instantly.

"Same." Kara nodded alongside basically all the kryptonians among them.

"I guess it will just be me and Liz then." Aurora stated. "I can already imagine rolling up with two hot women in both arms. Oh, so many will be jealous."

When the day for the reunion arrived, Leonardo drove his black Camaro and pulled into the spot as Clark pulled in with his truck next to him. Which made him a bit happy since he doesn't tend to drive much himself and usually just rides with the girls when shopping. Since they say they like it better when they drive for some reason.

"Leo, I should have known it was you driving. I can't believe they allowed you behind the wheel." Clark laughed angrily. "Your driving is more terrifying than Lois behind the wheel."

"It wasn't too bad." Liz crawled out of the back. "It was actually quite fun."

"Yeah, I just thought we would crash seven times this time." Aurora smiled.

"I can tell by your shaking legs." Lois said. "Unless you were having some fun before coming."

"Oh no, that is afterwards with the rest of the women. We are going to have one big night party since Sheldon is out and we can welcome the three new ones." Aurora waved her hand.

Clark just face palmed since he should know better then to let Aurora to open her mouth. So he just pretended she didn't exist and turned to Leonardo. Since he wanted to chat with him about something he felt was important.

"Well, now that is out of the way, shall we head inside." Leonardo suggested.

"Onwards." Liz wrapped herself on Leonardo's arm and said cheerfully.

Upon walking up the steps towards the gathering point and check in place. Leonardo looked around and let out a small sigh. Time was unkind to quite a few even if it had been five years, since some lost hair, went up quite a few sizes or ages prematurely looking far older. While on the other hand some became better looking or maintained themselves the best they could.

"Time hasn't been kind to a few." Liz sighed. "I worry about my future since I am the only human in the harem and have the shortest lifespan."

"Even when you're old you will still be beautiful." Leonardo answered. "If you want I can help you extend your life and looks too. However, I enjoy having you around no matter your look or age."

"If you didn't add that part about extension, it would sound so romantic. Now the feelings feel empty." Liz sighed. "I guess that's what I like about you."

"Thought it was my magic fingers." Leonardo joked.

"Lana."

Inside the gym where it was decorated and many were standing around chatting with their old friends or classmates. Leonardo ran into Lana who appeared suddenly as they glared at each other.

"Is this your new boyfriend?" Leonardo stated.

"Yes." Lana replied coldly.

The man had short dark brown hair and was fairly fit looking. He just stared confused with the sudden shift in atmosphere around these two.

"He looks decent. Hopefully he will stick around for you." Leonardo said.

"Thank you." Lana growled back.

"Were these two?" The man asked Liz.

Liz shook her head. "They have always hated each other. This is just Leonardo wishing her happiness with you in their own way."
