A Different Smallville

Standing with his arms crossed, Leonardo just let out a long and painful sigh. Even if Clark tried to hide his doing, he still learned that he gave Zod his blood. Now the one person he really didn't want to have powers, now has them.

Leonardo naturally came to learn this from Vala who came to him not long after Zod gave his loyal followers some of his own. So now Zod and his loyal soldiers can access kryptonian powers under the yellow sun. Which made Leonardo intensified his search for the portal as soon as possible. Since it probably won't be long before Zod decides it is time to declare war on Earth.

Now he was just floating in space as he looked down at the Earth. He felt the Earth is about to rapidly enter the era of heroes. It was coming but he also felt more pronounced and the mixed reactions of the masses wasn't a good sign. Since heroes and villains just highlight the flawed systems of law and order.

Which made him want to rub his head as he tried to think. If the world was perfect then there would be no need for Heroes. However, no world is perfect and as such it can't be helped. Now the various heroes and villains are popping out of the woodwork and some have different styles. Some much more violent than the last.

'I better hurry up and find that gateway.' Leonardo just sighed to himself.

Trying to deal with Zod as well as the Earth's Governments who would either want to kill or capture them at the same time. Well it wouldn't end as he is trying to find the best outcome for them so there is no war or high tension among everyone. Such as heroes do hero things while the government does what it is supposed to by keeping the law and order and progressing Earth.

So reaching out with his hand Leonardo looked at the Earth before him full of possibilities. He just hopes it will go in a good direction since he doesn't want to see the planet full of life to become a barren planet. So seeing the planet that appeared to fit into his hand, Leonardo prepared to go back to continue his search.

"Raya, I think I found it?"

Pressing a small radio in her ear, Kara stated as she was in the southern part of Africa. Before her was a stone table and after lifting the top revealed various crystals and an indent in a shape similar to the Book of Rao.

"Is it real?" Raya asked.

"Yeah, it's real." Kara confirmed.

It wasn't the first one the pair found, but the last one was a fake. So both let out a grin since they beat Leonardo in tracking it down. Well, more like they volunteer to help him search for it since Leonardo originally didn't plan to ask. For he felt they were busy doing their own thing and life, and didn't want them to feel trouble in searching for it.

"Alright, I will bring it back." Kara stated.

"I will contact Leo." Raya said.

"Speaking of which. Do you think my new jeans make my butt look big? Leo won't tell the truth." Kara shifted topics.

"Is it really the time to be asking about this?" Raya sighs dramatically. "Besides, Leo likes it either way not to mention he prefers your chest. Lift that shirt and he basically putty in your hands."

"I don't really understand men obsessive with such fat?" Kara sighed dramatically.

"Just bring it back." Raya said ending this topic.

"It was just a joke." Kara muttered.

Lifting the gateway, Kara soon shot off into the sky heading towards the Kent Farm. That farm was probably the best place to hide the gateway temporarily.

Inside the warehouse where the Kryptonians first gathered. Most gathered once more as they stared at the coffin before them. Inside the face of Faora was shown as her breathless corpse laid lifeless inside the coffin.

"It's time, my friends. The humans have become aware and hostile to us." Zod said.

Vala who looked at her sister in disbelief as her sister was alive not long ago and happy was no more. Even the child within her was no more as she struggled to keep her tears within.

"They began to hunt us when we were powerless. Now it's time to return the feelings. Since they want a war, then we shall give them war."

'Zod, what did you do?' Alia who was among the group frowned.

Due to keeping an eye on Zod, she knew Faora had met with Zod before her demise. Hence she deeply doubted Zod's words and goals, not to mention what her future self told her. However, seeing the others not doubting this and ready to fight, she knew the time had come.

'Leo, I hope you are ready because you are out of time.' Alia sighed.

Then Alia also moved out since what kind of spy that can be embedded would give themselves away?

"This is bad."

In front of the television, Clark said as Leonardo nodded. For what appeared on the screen were various kryptonian symbols being burned into world monuments or high tourist spots. Which means Zod has begun to move and faster than either of them would have liked. Truth be told Leonardo hoped he never did, but now it can't be helped.

"Yes, however Kara should be here soon. Then we can end this war before blood is spilled." Leonardo stated.

"Yeah, but upon sending them away, we will be going with them." Clark said.

"I got a plan for that. Now let's get moving, we need to summon them to use or the portal would cover the planet." Leonardo said.

Inside Liz's house as she looked at the news with silences as she looked at the symbols being displayed. She felt a bit scared of what was appearing since she worried about her son's safety and how hard life would be if the world became chaotic.

'Is this what Leo was trying to prevent?' Liz thought to herself.

She had known that Leonardo was different and been extremely busy lately. Clearly she didn't realize the issue he was dealing with was so big.

'Well, I hope it can be solved before Twilight is released in Theaters.' Liz thought to herself.

On top of one of the tallest buildings in Metropolis, Leonardo was looking over the gate way. Once he was sure, he gave Clark a thumbs up and then an ear piercing sound occurred that rapidly traveled to various parts of the world. 

"Here they come." Clark said.

"No pressure. It will either end peacefully or we will have a long and brutal battle before us. I hope your talk no jutsu is up to the challenge." Leonardo joked.

Then moments later, the ones they called arrived in doves as they surrounded Clark and Leonardo. At the forefront was Zod who stared at them with various emotions before his eyes drifted to the table in the center.

"Well, Clark, you're up." Leonardo said.

Clark then stepped forward in hopes of resolving things before they become worse. Which seemed to be a bit of a challenge since a few didn't seem to want peace.
