A Different Doraemon World

Chapter 3: The two mysterious girls

Nobita no longer had the mood to go out and play. He ran home to search for Doraemon, hoping that Doraemon would know something, but Doraemon still hadn't returned. Thinking about the strange events that had happened today, an unsettling and fearful feeling kept rising in Nobita's heart. What if Doraemon also disappeared? No, that can't happen. I still have the Champion Gloves, Doraemon definitely won't disappear, Nobita reassured himself.

A morning passed with a heavy heart full of worries.

In the afternoon, Nobita sat in his room, staring at the drawer of his desk, constantly praying: "Please, Doraemon, come back soon!" Luckily, it seemed that Nobita's prayer was heard. The drawer opened, and Doraemon came out from it. Nobita stood up joyfully, but Doraemon completely ignored him. He kept pacing back and forth in the room, looking extremely frightened, as if something truly terrifying had happened.

Nobita walked up to Doraemon and asked, "Doraemon, what's wrong? You know, today everyone is acting strange. Shizuka suddenly said she didn't know Jaian and Suneo, and when I went to their house..."

Nobita stopped when he realized that Doraemon wasn't even listening to what he was saying. Doraemon's eyes were blank, and his face was full of terror, muttering continuously: "Why is this happening? Why is this happening…?"

Nobita grabbed Doraemon's hand and pulled him back: "What happened to you?"

Doraemon's body shook as he turned to look at Nobita. Nobita couldn't help but stutter in fear as he saw Doraemon's face twist in terror. He had never seen Doraemon this afraid, not even when he encountered a mouse.

Doraemon trembled and said: "Just now, I found two people in the time tunnel. After investigating, I found out they are from 500 years in the future, but how did they enter the time tunnel? How did they get in?"

Nobita felt puzzled: "Huh, I think it's normal. Maybe they're time travelers or something. After all, there will be a time machine 200 years from now, and in 500 years, science will develop even more. What's so strange about them being able to travel through the time tunnel?"

Doraemon shook his head, muttering again: "No, that's not it. Could the plan have failed? How could it fail? No, no..."

Nobita couldn't understand and could only pat Doraemon on the shoulder, reassuring him: "Although I don't quite get it, the situation can't be that serious, right?"

Doraemon looked at Nobita and sighed: "I have subdued both of them, and they are unconscious now. There are many things I need to clarify, but I'm afraid that if anything goes wrong, it could affect others. I need to find a quieter place to interrogate them."

After thinking for a while, Nobita suggested: "How about the mountain behind the school?"

"Okay, then let's use the anywhere door to go there." Doraemon nodded, rummaging through his bag and pulling out a large pink door. After adjusting the destination, he opened it, revealing the mountain behind the school.

Nobita admired the technology of the future. The development of science and technology was truly amazing. Even just the anywhere door alone, no matter how many times he used it, it would always feel so unbelievable.

Nobita and Doraemon took the two mysterious girls to the mountain behind the school.

The two were young girls. One had blonde hair and looked like a wealthy young lady, while the other had orange hair and wore a purple tight-fitting outfit with a white blazer, looking both beautiful and cool. At this moment, both of them were unconscious, lying on the ground.

Nobita looked at the two mysterious girls and asked Doraemon: "How are you going to interrogate them?"

"I have a method!" Doraemon said grimly, pulling out a candy box. He then poured out two red candies and said: "This is a truth-telling drug, Just Honne. As long as they eat this, they will only be able to tell the truth, they cannot lie, because this drug hypnotizes the brain's central nervous system, preventing them from thinking, and they will only be able to answer the truth in their minds."

Nobita nodded, impressed: "That's really a good method."

Doraemon gave the two candies to the mysterious girls, who soon slowly opened their eyes. However, their eyes were dull, devoid of any spirit.

Doraemon turned to the girl with orange hair and asked: "What's your name?"

The orange-haired girl quickly replied: "My name is Kelly."

"And your friend?"

"She is my investor and assistant, her name is Karen."

"Then who are you two? What is your purpose?"

Kelly suddenly became agitated, waving her arms and saying: "I am the greatest scientist! My inventions will change the world! Everyone will remember my name—Kelly!"

Nobita couldn't help but laugh when he heard this: "What's wrong with her? Calling herself the greatest, and so full of herself! Haha."

Doraemon didn't respond to Nobita. With a grim face, he asked: "What did you invent?"

Kelly smiled proudly and said: "I, the great scientist, invented the time machine. It can travel through the time tunnel!"

Nobita laughed even harder. There was already a time machine 200 years later, and this lady from 500 years later is bragging about inventing a time machine? Her way of speaking is so strange too. Could she be crazy?

Unlike Nobita, who was laughing, Doraemon looked even more terrified, muttering: "Why is this happening? Could the plan really have failed?"

After laughing to his heart's content, Nobita yawned, stretching and resting his hands behind his head: "These two ladies must be crazy. Why don't you take them to the future for an examination?"

Doraemon smiled wryly and then looked at Kelly: "I want to know the details of the time machine you created."

Kelly's eyes lit up.
