Ten years ago all world governments, unable to keep Pandora's box sealed any longer, did the unthinkable—they announced the existence of the phenomenon. Vic runs into Maya—a girl struggling to overcome a great loss and searching for closure. She tells him a theory she has about a group that calls themselves the "Nines".
