Yuno in Naruto

We went to the capital of the Land of Fire to escort the fire Daimyo to the leaf village. It didn't take long for us to make it to the capital and from there we were escorted to the Daimyo's palace.

We greeted the Daimyo and spent the night, the next day we made our way back to Konoha. It took us a full day to get back but on the way we were stopped by a man with long hair and a mask. We all instantly went on guard. I felt a strong interference making its way into my mind but I managed to break out of it. Now it was just me, my teammates, and Itachi and Tenma. I tried to break sensei out of the genjutsu but it didn't work.

"This is a strong genjutsu," I said.

"Thank you, I pride myself on my genjutsu ability." I heard a deep voice say. 

I looked back to see the man standing there, menacingly. "Who are you?"

"The name's Madara Uchiha, I want to make this quick. So you either let me kill the Daimyo and you all live or I kill everyone here. Your choice. "

I took the lead and started ordering everyone.

"Guys, stay focused. Backup should be here soon so stay on guard and play to your strengths."

I pulled out my sword and swung it, creating a blade of wind that flew at him. He easily dodged it and ran towards me. Many knives came flying at him from multiple angles but they went right through him. I threw multiple blades of wind at him but he dodged them or let them go through him.

He then disappeared and reappeared next to Aiko and kicked her down the road. He then appeared next to me, I tried to back away but he caught up to me and punched me in the chest and I flew back. The next thing I remember is waking up in the hospital with an incredible pain radiating from my chest. I tried to get up but the pain was too much.

"Ugh..." I groaned.

"You're finally awake." I heard a voice say.

I looked to my left and saw a man with white hair, a headband covering his left eye and a mask covering his mouth and nose. I looked at him and inquired. "What happened to the others?" 

"Your teammates are fine, Tenma didn't make though. He got hit in the stomach real bad and bled out before the medic-nins could get to the scene." He said. "You're, the first one to wake up. Do you mind telling me what happened?" He asked.

"KAKASHI! My son just woke up after nearly dying, don't go interrogating him right away!" I heard a voice come from my right. I was startled because I didn't notice anyone there initially. I looked to my right and saw my mom fuming. She had a really scary look on her face.

I smiled, "It's okay, mom. They need to know what happened." I looked towards Kakashi, "Sorry, I was the first to be knocked out. But I did manage to get his name and abilities. He had really strong genjutsu, I tried to break my sensei out of it but it didn't work. All the attacks we threw at him just went through his body. He said his name is Madara Uchiha so I suspect that his genjutsu and intangibility are from his sharingan."

"Hmm, I'll report this to the Hokage, and then I'll see if your teammates have more information. Once you recover fully, go and see the Hokage." Said Kakashi.

"Sure thing," I said. Kakashi then walked out the door, I turned towards Mom and saw her sobbing. "Mom, what's wrong?" I asked, startled.

"Yo- you nearly died!" She cried. I hugged her and said.

"I'm sorry, I'll make sure to get stronger so I won't make you worry ever again," I reassured her. But she just kept crying. "Listen, mom. We both knew this was going to happen. The life of a shinobi is tough, we work with the risk of death on us 24/7. You knew I was going to have to confront this truth sooner or later."

She looked up at me and yelled, "Yeah, but it doesn't make it any easier. You're all I have left, I can't lose you too."

"Don't you worry, I have you and Naruto back home to take care of. Do you think I would leave you guys? Who would take care of you then? You wouldn't last a day." I said, smirking.

"Oh, you little jerk! I thought we were having a moment." She put her arm around my neck and rubbed her knuckles on my head.

"Ow ow ow, my chest still hurts!!!" I yelled, she let me go and put her hands on her face in shock. I rested back in my chair and started laughing.

"I was really worried for you there, you jerk." She said, pouting.

"What? It actually hurt!" I replied, smiling.

"Then why are you smiling?" She asked.

"Because it's fun to tease you."

She slapped my leg and yelled playfully, "I am your mother!"

"And I'm your cute little boy, you wouldn't do anything to me would you?" I said, teasing her further.

"How could I? Look at you! So adorable!" She said.

We continued our back-and-forth banter until the sunset, I had the mediocre hospital food and went to sleep. We spent the next couple of days like this. Mom even brought Naruto to the hospital. It was there, he called me nii-san. For the first time. It was adorable.

It was then were I felt something in me change. I surge of power I never felt before. I felt like I could control the world, it felt familiar. My star magic! It was coming back to me. I felt like I could finally use it. I guess some things are more similar to more old world than I thought. Magic can be activated through strong emotions. Fueled by my desire to protect my family I awakened my Kekkei Genkai.

"Shin! Oh my god! You awakened your Kekkei Genkai!" My mom exclaimed.

"What? How can you tell?" I asked.

"Oh, did I not tell you? Members of our clan have red marks that appear on our faces and our ears become elongated when we use our kekkei genkai." She said.

Interesting, this can't be a coincidence at this point. Eh, whatever, I'll figure it out eventually.
