You Are Deep in The Stars

Chapter 76 - Wrong Emotions II

After a while, Han Zhuo came and knocked on the door: “Are you okay?”

Wang Yuanchen glanced at him: “Are you planning to ask me what happened?”

Han Zhuo glanced at the messy bed, shook his head, and said, “I can guess it.”

“I messed everything up, I know.” Wang Yuanchen took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth, saying impatiently, “You don’t have to reason with me.”

“I have no obligation to educate you, but this behaviour is quite shameful.” Han Zhuo threw the lighter and continued, “I also regret that I asked you to protect him.”

Wang Yuanchen raised his head, his eyes hollow and gloomy.

“I want to take him out of here first.” Han Zhuo said, “As for whether he can come back in the future, it depends on you.”

“He will never come back.” Wang Yuanchen said.

“If you really think so, then I have no right to interfere.” Han Zhuo nodded, “Okay, let’s go first.”

“Wait a minute!” Wang Yuanchen called him.

Han Zhuo stopped.

“…Take him to the hospital for a checkup.” After a long time, Wang Yuanchen whispered, “Also, tell him that I am willing to pay any price to make up for this.”

Han Zhuo shook his head, went to the living room to grab Liu Chunchun’s suitcase, and took him out of the apartment with Bai Xi.

.

The sky outside the window gradually darkened, turning into a colourful neon light and shadow.

Wang Yuanchen sat beside the bed in the bedroom, motionless and expressionless. He didn’t want to use alcohol to explain his shameful behaviour during the day. The half bottle of foreign wine could only make his blood boil, but it was far from enough to burn his reason. Character flaws, or even personality flaws, were the most fundamental cause of all this.

He had always been a very chaotic person. He was violent, cruel, and murderous. He never cared about the feelings of others. At the same time, he used sentimentality, frivolity, and beautiful appearance to cover up all of this. The Shi family had brought him twisted psychological scars, and the kindness, empathy, and thinking ability that Daisy had taught him were entangled with each other, eventually causing his erratic emotions and logic, like a truck driving on a winding mountain road, uncertain of when it would rush out of the corner.

At eight o’clock in the evening, Han Zhuo returned to the apartment again and brought him takeout and drinks.

“Is he okay?” Wang Yuanchen asked.

“The doctor said he might need to rest for two weeks,” Han Zhuo replied. “As for the psychological trauma, it would probably follow him for a long time, even for a lifetime.”

Wang Yuanchen’s Adam’s apple jumped.

“Think about how much pressure Shi Tian puts on you.” Han Zhuo patted him on the shoulder and added before the other party got angry, “In this aspect, there’s no difference between you and Shi Tian. They’re both selfish and cruel, with no regard for the feelings of another person.”

Wang Yuanchen said nothing but almost twisted the cigarette case in his hand into powder.

“Let’s eat first.” Han Zhuo took out his mobile phone and planned to call Linda. The three of them had originally made an appointment to meet tonight, but Wang Yuanchen’s condition was obviously not suitable for doing anything anymore. But before he dialled, Wang Yuanchen’s cell phone rang first, and the caller ID was the bar’s landline.

“Aspis!” A familiar waiter complained loudly on the other end. “Did Linda finally come to have a one-night stand with you? Why can’t any of us get through her phone, and there’s a bartending show tonight. Guests are already protesting.”

The sound in the receiver was loud, so it reached Han Zhuo’s ears clearly.

The two frowned at the same time and looked at each other.

.

In the underground warehouse filled with the smell of formalin, Shi Tian shook off the long ash from his cigar and stared at the screen of the mobile phone that lit up again. The caller number this time was very familiar, and the name was “Honey, Prince, Tuxedo Mask.” If it weren’t for the word limit, there might have been hundreds of romantic adjectives behind it.

Shi Tian sneered and pressed the connect button.

“Where are you?” Wang Yuanchen asked.

Shi Tian’s tone rose slightly. “What do you think?”

As expected, Wang Yuanchen cursed in his heart. “What do you want to do?”

“I don’t want to do anything. She took the initiative to come to my territory and voluntarily accepted the experiment.” Shi Tian glanced at the girl on the electronic screen and added, “But now she just received an aesthetic injection and couldn’t talk for the time being. It’s dangerous, so are you willing to come over and have a calm talk with me in person for the sake of this little girl who doesn’t know the world and wants to have relationship with you?”

“Where are you?” Wang Yuanchen asked.

Shi Tian replied, “Old place.”
