Chapter 20: The Descent into Madness

Sakura's eyes seemed to glaze over, and for a moment, Taro-kun thought he saw a glimmer of sanity in her expression.

But then, her face twisted into a snarl, and she lunged at Kuroba, her fingers clawing at her face.

Kuroba shouted in surprise, stumbling backward as Sakura attacked her.

Taro-kun watched in horror as the two girls clashed, their bodies tangled together in a frenzy of punches and kicks.

He tried to intervene, but Sakura was too strong, too fast. She tossed Kuroba aside like a rag doll, her eyes fixed on Taro-kun with an unnerving intensity.

"Taro-kun," she whispered, her voice dripping with madness. "I'll never let you go. You're mine, forever and always."

Taro-kun backed away, his heart racing with fear. He knew that Sakura was beyond reason, beyond sanity.

He stumbled out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him. He could hear Sakura's screams, her pounding on the door, but he didn't look back.

He ran, his feet pounding the floor as he desperately sought escape.

But no matter how fast he ran, he couldn't shake the feeling that Sakura was right behind him, her eyes fixed on him with an unnerving intensity.

Finally, he stumbled into the school courtyard, gasping for breath. He looked around, hoping to find someone, anyone, who could help him.

But the courtyard was empty, the only sound the distant hum of the city.

Taro-kun's eyes scanned the rooftops, his heart racing with fear. He knew that Sakura could be anywhere, watching him, waiting for him.

And then, he saw her.

Sakura was standing on the rooftop, her eyes fixed on Taro-kun with an unnerving intensity.

"Taro-kun," she whispered, her voice carried away by the wind. "I'll never let you go."

Taro-kun's heart sank as he realized that he was trapped. Sakura had him right where she wanted him.

And then, just as all hope seemed lost, a figure appeared on the rooftop beside Sakura.

It was Akane, her eyes fixed on Sakura with a look of concern.

"Sakura, stop," Akane said, her voice firm. "You're scaring Taro-kun."

Sakura's eyes flashed with anger, but Akane stood her ground.

"Sakura, listen to me," Akane said. "You're not thinking clearly. You're not thinking about what's best for Taro-kun."

Sakura's expression seemed to crumple, and for a moment, Taro-kun saw a glimmer of sanity in her eyes.

But then, her face twisted into a snarl, and she lunged at Akane.

Taro-kun watched in horror as the two girls fought, their bodies crashing to the rooftop.

And then, just as it seemed like Akane was getting the upper hand, Sakura's eyes seemed to glaze over, and she fell to the ground, unconscious.

Akane stood over her, her chest heaving with exhaustion.

"Taro-kun, I'm sorry," Akane said, her eyes fixed on his. "I didn't mean for things to go this far."

Taro-kun's eyes narrowed, his heart still racing with fear.

"What do you mean?" he asked, his voice firm.

Akane hesitated, her eyes darting back and forth.

"I mean, I didn't mean for Sakura to become so... obsessed," Akane said. "I was trying to help her, to make her see reason. But she just wouldn't listen."

Taro-kun's eyes widened in shock as he realized the truth.

"You're the one who's been manipulating Sakura," he accused, his voice firm. "You're the one who's been using her to get to me."

Akane's eyes seemed to glaze over, and for a moment, Taro-kun saw a glimmer of guilt in her expression.

But then, her face twisted into a snarl, and she lunged at Taro-kun.

The two of them clashed, their bodies tangled together in a frenzy of punches and kicks.

And as they fought, Taro-kun couldn't help but wonder... who was the real enemy here?

Was it Sakura, with her obsessive love?

Or was it Akane, with her manipulative games?

Or was it someone else entirely?

Taro-kun's eyes narrowed, his heart still racing with fear.

He knew that he had to get to the bottom of this, to uncover the truth behind Sakura's obsession and Akane's manipulation.

And he was willing to do whatever it took to find out.
