Wrong Luggage, Perfect Curves

Chapter 14: Disrupted Thoughts and Overwhelming Attraction

Min-jae stood there, his mind racing, trying to process everything that had happened so far. Claire was in his kitchen, wiping the floor, and he was doing his best to gather himself, but it felt like trying to watch a movie while someone was throwing a sack of flour in his face. "Don't look, don't look. Just a little longer… God, is this really happening?" he thought, but his eyes couldn't look away. "What a disaster, she doesn't even know what she's doing!"

Then Claire stood up from the floor, and Min-jae was sure his heart was going to stop. "Oh, this can't be good… no, no, no…" And then she, as if reading his thoughts, calmly and with a smile said:

"Actually, I wore this short dress so it would be easier for you to take it off later."

Min-jae stood there, stunned, shocked. Something slipped from his hand. "What?! Wait, wait... What? Where has she been living all this time, in France? What do they do there? Do they offer themselves to anyone?" he thought, frozen for a moment.

Claire noticed his confusion and decided to explain. "I know what you're thinking. You think I'm easy and that I offer myself to anyone. But that's not true. Just because I left you two years ago doesn't mean I didn't feel attraction toward you. I was just scared. And now... now I want the same thing you want," she said calmly. "We've grown up, what do we have to be ashamed of?"

Min-jae stood there, speechless, all he could hear were her calm, decisive words, which were the complete opposite of his thoughts. "So, this is really... really happening? She's serious? Wait, wait, does she... Yeah, she really means this. Okay, Min-jae, calm down. Just breathe..."

While he was trying to collect himself, Claire grabbed his hand and gently pulled him toward the table. "Come on, let's eat. I think dinner is ready, and you're just freezing here," she said, holding his hand like it was the most normal thing in the world. And, of course, he couldn't hold himself back.

They ate together, and Min-jae only occasionally lifted his gaze from his plate, unable to believe what was happening. "What would it be like to live with her? With her, in this apartment. Every day would be like... some kind of constant disaster with unbelievable energy. Just imagine—she walks around the apartment in that dress every day. My life would be chaos, but chaos like I've never experienced. It's like having a live bomb in your apartment, and not knowing when it will explode, but you're sure it won't be boring."

Once again, they sat in silence, while he was lost in thought. Claire moved closer, took his face in her hands, and slowly, with a smile, began to kiss him. Her hands moved toward his shirt, undoing one button at a time in a slow motion that Min-jae knew wasn't going to end well.

"This is... well, this is... this is too much for my brain," he thought, but he couldn't move. Claire was now on top of him, calm yet confident. And Min-jae couldn't breathe, couldn't think, he just knew this was definitely not the end...
