Worldwide Class Change: An Invincible Swordsman

Chapter 71, Gathering of the Strong_1

Emerson the Angel spoke first, "All right, we from Holy City's College are taking over this Secret Realm. Everyone else, leave."

Those who had arrived earlier were not happy. They had waited for half an hour, and now, just as the Secret Realm was about to open, they were being told to leave?

Thousands of people began to protest angrily:

"Why should we? We were the ones who found this place!"

"Exactly! So what if you're from Holy City's College? There are more of us here. Are we supposed to be afraid of a bunch of students like you?"

"We should fight for the Tokens with our abilities! This Secret Realm is unclaimed. Who says you've got it all wrapped up?"

"Whoever grabs a Token owns it!"

"Let's stand together! There's no need to fear Holy City's College!"

Emerson the Angel remained indifferent. "I know you're not happy about leaving, but I'm giving you a chance. Do you really think you riffraff can just snatch the Tokens and enter? I'm merely trying to avoid killing anyone. I am, after all, a peace-loving angel."

Jiang Chen laughed. This act is worth 99 points; I'm holding back one point just so he doesn't get too proud.

The students from Holy City's College laughed too.

"Haha! Emerson, you? Killed few people? You've certainly killed your fair share!"

"Emerson, when did you become a messenger of peace?"

"You always love to show off."

"Emerson, why don't you clear out this riffraff first? Then we can discuss who gets the Tokens."

"That's a good plan. Let's see if you alone can take down more than a thousand people."

Emerson responded with a smile, "Didn't I just say? I am a peace-loving angel. I never enjoy violence."

A Dragon Knight cursed, "To hell with your damned angel!"

The Dragon Knight flew above the rift and addressed the crowd, "You have ten breaths' time to leave. If not, prepare for a frosty banquet from the Frostmourne Dragon!"

The Giant Dragon sensed its master's anger.

It bellowed toward the ground, and the surrounding temperature instantly dropped several degrees.

At this, everyone looking up at the sky paled.

"What a strong Dragon Knight!"

"No kidding. He's in the air. Only Archers or Magicians could handle him; warriors stand no chance."

"What do we do? There are only ten breaths' time. Do you think he'll actually attack?"

"That man is Richardson, ranked eighth at Holy City's College. He's a very powerful opponent. We'd better leave quickly."

"I bet he won't dare to make a move."

"Everyone who's bet wrong before is already dead."

Jiang City looked up at the Dragon Knight and smirked. Another poser.

Richardson spoke coldly, counting down:

"One..."

"Two..."

"Three..."

As Richardson continued to count, some people grew scared and began to move away from the rift, seeking safety at a distance. Others remained defiant, aiming their bows and arrows at the Giant Dragon in the sky.

"Four..."

"Five..."

As the count neared its end, Richardson commanded, "If you won't leave, then embrace death! Ice Hell!"

The Giant Dragon opened its maw wide, a white glow gathering within. Just then, a sword light soared into the sky...

It struck the Frostmourne Dragon's wing, splattering blood. The entire wing tore off with a sickening CRUNCH! The Frostmourne Dragon screamed in pain, its body tilting as it plummeted from the sky.

Richardson's expression changed drastically.

The surrounding students also stared in shock. What Skill was that? To bring down a flying Frostmourne Dragon?

CRASH!

The Frostmourne Dragon slammed into the ground with a tremendous impact. Richardson, his face pale, stared at the dragon's mangled wing, from which blood gushed freely.

"Priest, heal it!"

A Priest stepped forward and cast Healing Art on the dragon. The wound quickly closed, bones regenerated and reconnected, and in an instant, the wing was restored to normal.

"Well done! Finish off that Giant Dragon!"

"It's a pity the Giant Dragon isn't dead."

"It's not that easy. You'd have to pierce its heart to truly kill a Giant Dragon."

"I wonder which powerhouse injured the Giant Dragon."

"They must be unhappy with Holy City's College's attitude. Why should they get to monopolize the place while we just stand by and watch?"

"We still have a chance!"

Jiang Chen's face showed a mocking expression. Is this all they've got? And they dare to show off? What Giant Dragon? Isn't it just a flying lizard!

Just then, another group approached. They were all clad in warrior sets, all dark-haired warriors, marching in perfect unison.

Jiang Chen was shocked; he recognized the woman leading them—Black Phoenix. Why is she here? Hasn't she returned to Shenlong Academy?

The cold-looking man in the lead said, "We've arrived at a good time. The rift hasn't opened yet; there are still fifteen minutes."

"Mm."

The others began to murmur among themselves:

"Who are these people?"

"They're from the Dragon Zone Union—the Black Dragon Legion of Shenlong Academy. The leader is the legion's commander, Black Dragon, and that's his sister, Black Phoenix."

"Why have they come too?"

"Obviously, they received news and rushed over."

"Hasn't Black Dragon already completed his First-stage advancement? Why is he interested in the rift?"

"He may have, but his sister hasn't. She's a Resurrection Fighter, an SS-grade Class, who has also awakened her Talent. She's a terrifying warrior, unbeatable in close combat. Once, on the Alliance Battlefield, while facing an onslaught of ten thousand enemies, she carved a bloody path to escape!"

"Is he really that terrifying?"

"Of course! He's widely acknowledged as unbeatable in close combat. Not even Dragon Knights or Angels can do anything against him."

Jiang Chen looked at the man beside Black Phoenix. His indifferent eyes seemed unconcerned with everything around him.

Emerson frowned at Black Dragon. "Black Dragon, this is Nordic European Union territory. What do you mean by bringing your people here?"

Black Dragon glanced at him. "Who are you?"

"My name is Emerson."

"Are you Emeryn's brother?"

"That's right."

"Your brother might have the qualifications to speak to me. But you? Don't even mention it. Even if you were a whole flock of Birdmen, I wouldn't give a damn."

Emerson said angrily, "How dare you insult an Angel?"

Black Dragon was completely unfazed, clearly not taking Emerson seriously.

Just as Emerson was about to act, his deputy stopped him. "Lord Emerson, we can't make an enemy of Black Dragon! This man is incredibly strong, an invincible presence in close combat. He's already a First-stage Expert, possibly even approaching his Second-stage advancement. You're no match for him; you could be killed instantly!"

Black Dragon said, "I know you are all students from Holy City's College. My sister gets one spot for this rift. I, Black Dragon, have always been fair. I won't monopolize the entire thing."

Everyone fell silent.

Now that Black Dragon had spoken, his proposal seemed reasonable. Losing one Token out of a hundred was no big deal. Besides, once inside the Secret Realm, who would end up with the Inscriptions was anyone's guess.

"Since you've said so, I think it's very reasonable. We can give you one Token."

Black Dragon turned to look at the speaker.

The man had his hands in his pockets.

"And who might this be?"

"That's Fred, a student from Holy City's College. He's from the same generation as Black Dragon and is also a powerful SS-grade Sharpshooter."

"Why are there so many SS-grade individuals here?"

"Well, duh! Everyone at Holy City's College is S-grade or above. Naturally, there are many."

"The one next to him is Philin, Fred's brother. He's also a Sharpshooter and is ranked 5th in Holy City's College."

Black Dragon, still indifferent, said, "Fred. So you came too."

"The Secret Realm has appeared, and it contains Inscriptions that can greatly enhance Heroes. My brother doesn't want to miss this opportunity either."

Black Dragon fell silent. It's true. My sister needs those Inscriptions too.

Fred, looking at the crowd, spoke, "All of you should leave. The students of Holy City's College are all SS-grade Class powerhouses. You can't compete with them. Even if you managed to snatch a Token, so what? Entering the Secret Realm would still mean death for you."

"Inscriptions are important, but life is more so."

"Leave this chance to the students. Let them enter and fight for the Inscriptions. Consider it a test for them."

When Fred finished speaking, most of the crowd dispersed.

Only a few dozen people remained, still waiting. Life is important, but Inscriptions are even more so! What if we manage to get one?!
